This was really horrible to watch! Too big wire, soldering iron in terrible condition.
Thanks for your comment 🙏🏽
What you suggested me to do?
@@HARDWIRlNG he is suggesting pure 14k .25mm wire and sand your tip every contact
@@OnGod1007 Dude is merely suggesting taking care of your soldering iron and using correct size wiring lmao out here soldering basically throwing 10 awg on some surface mount db9 with a charred fire poker haha
dont use gas pen buy a proper one (it will heat the wire faster and wont burn the coat of the cabel as much, buy one with a thinner tip dont and cake on so much flux you can also buy a thinner tin and get a cleaning station it can be a sponge or a brass wool i prefer the sponge of how clean it gets inbetween soldering each spot some people hate it because the tip gets slightly cooler but i do precision work i want it done properly so i dont even notice it being cool when i pick it up again for the next one after arranging for the next spot also just flux one spot at a time and whatever flux this is its not the one and your using to much @@HARDWIRlNG
Maybe get a fine tip replacement for hot iron! I keep at least 5 different size ,shape ,length tips at all times with my iron!
I enjoy when anyone puts up content with soldering or electronics! I would suggest you at least clean your iron tip between uses! It helps keep all that char/ash off of your joints. Keep doing projects!
Thank you so much dude💪🏽❤️
I hope your read this and here how i clean my soldering iron i use sand paper but don't press to hard and do it press carefully and clean and try not to shake your hand because you might brun your hands because i did it too
this is some mad parkingson shaking bro
😂😂😂😂😂 the zoom make it look like this
Now a days I mainly use silicone wires for neat and clean outcome. About 4 times more cost but I love those tough softies
Yes , it bends much more easily 😃
Subscribe please ❤️
Use some IPA and soldering tip cleaner for better soldering and use some soldering mat or cutting mat which improves the soldering ability
That Beat 🔥
i’ve always had an issue with soldering you’ve just taught me something new thank you, I will be purchasing some flux and don’t watch the negative comments. People are sunch miserable trolls
Get Amtech Flux it's the best, very sticky though
Of course , it makes the copper takes the solder like magnet 🧲💪🏽🫶🏽
soldering clips are life savers bro! i used to hate soldering too haha
All the "negative comments" are people trying to help this person solder better. It's constructive criticism.
Who was doing the Soldering, Michael J.Fox??
Can you please explain more 🤭😂
@@HARDWIRlNG what do you mean?
Who is Michael?
@HARDWIRlNG Theres a bunch of Michaels, im one of them!! Why are you asking about Me, I dont know You, Weirdo!!
Clean your iron! Brass scourpad, hell even a wet kitchen sponge works well. All that char on your iron is going into your solder joints
Of course 🫰🏽
The title should be: “How to destroy an LED strip light in 10 seconds”.
Way too hot an iron!
Pls what type of soldering is best for this
I use from 0,40mm to 1mm soldering depending on the application 😃
A temperature controlled iron is best or a small 20 watt iron.
Always use flux for every solder joint.
Use a low temperature solder, like 60/40 rosin core.
Clean your irons tip frequently. Start with a clean tip for every soldering event.
Remember your soldering onto a printed circuit and the metal is very thin. If you overheat the metal it will fracture the next time it is flexed.
Thanks for your tip and trick
Check my other videos and don’t forget to subscribe
Try to use the thickest cable tou have, so the voltage drop in the cables can be kept to a minimal
I try to , they blame me 😅
Clean your soldering iron between jobs on a wet sponge, will get cleaner and better solders.
All right man 😄
how the wattage of your soldering iron my 40w soldering iron solder 👦 not like you please tell me I'm waiting...
I have a gas soldering machine from Dremel 💪🏽🫶🏽
I know this is an old comment but putting for anyone else that happens upon it having similar issues.
I can almost guarantee that your wattage isn’t the problem, but rather some combination of a clean iron, tinning the tip (most important!), and using flux.
It’s happened to me more than I’d care to admit that I don’t have my tip tinned and you’ll just sit there for ever waiting for that shit to melt and it just won’t lol
you make it looks easy
😂😂
I no longer have led light 😢
How to use ip glue to make led strip water proof?
You just throw some in the ledge strip
Make sure it is rosin not acid flux
Of course 💪🏽
Niceee
Where do you get that bare strip from
From local stores in Greece 🇬🇷💪🏽🫶🏽
Why are you using 12 gauge wire lol
❤❤❤
❤❤
Too much flux, dirty soldering iron (there are sponges for that), and the cable is too thick, LED strip don't need that many amps.
Otherwise good video
you cant just shit on the entire video and say "Otherwise good video" at the end
You don't need flux for this job, i mean the wire you used are pretty thick so a bit a flux is recommended
And you needed to twist the copper wires
Yea I know , flux make sometimes soldering faster 😄
That’s not necessarily , you can try it 💪🏽
@francesco5201 when you solder the copper cable, the solder does the job to keep the wires together, so twist isn't a need.👍
Doesnt matter how many videos i watch. I end up frustrated and put my projects away for months. It never works no matter what.😢
Hard works always pays off 💪🏽😄
Soldering on wood...?
Is just for the project
Get that iron really hot, tin it up, and use a wet towel to clean that wretched looking tip off
Alright , but I don’t think so
What is flux?
The flux used in soldering helps remove oxides and promote solder flow. Common types include rosin flux and water-soluble flux. Choose the one that suits your solder and application, ensuring proper ventilation when working with flux-containing chemicals.
@@HARDWIRlNG but can i solder without flux? I have to solder charging port on a headset
Can't we just glue or tape them together?
You can but it’s well worth it to learn how to do basic soldering. Honestly this vid is a perfect example for a slightly backhanded reason. Not to hate on the OP but this is way less than ideal soldering, yet it still got the job done and with infinitely better results than glue/tape.
My dude clean your top JFC
Alright 👍

Shaky hand😂
Does Parkinson’s run in your family?
What? 🤒
That hand needs to rest.
Ahahaha working a lot 😂💪🏽
So messy
It’s just a quick soldering short
No se dañan ?
Perfectly working💪🏽
😮😮😮😮😮
Dear god someone gift this man some brass pad clean the tip my man!
Hopefully god blessed me
Wire too thick
It’s 1,5 mm , is perfect for not having voltage drops usually 😀
Whatis flux?
Flux is a chemical compound that helps prepare the metal surfaces for soldering by removing oxides, promoting wetting, and enhancing the flow of solder. It typically comes in the form of a paste, liquid, or core within the solder wire.
Your soldering 🤮🤮🤮🤮
Why are you shaking?
The zoom make it look like this
You are fail
There’s way easier way to do this 🫠
Show us bro 😅
