Man, between the Tales of the Empire trailer and these episodes I think that Star Wars in animation is at its highest point audiovisually speaking, the animation, lighting, sound design, etc. Everything is incredible, and the story is very good too, the Omega and Hemlock scenes are promising and the character dynamics were Excellent
Don't forget Visions, especially season two with bringing more animation styles to Star Wars. Some of those episodes were beautiful.
Absolutely! Some of those wide shots of the prison camp look like paintings!
The images look like the background matte paintings from the original trilogy. They're also writing it for a general audience and not dumbing it down. The series has layers of story, like Crosshair's PTSD, which the adults can appreciate. I'm loving the subtle links to Andor, Rebels, Rogue One and the Mandalorian through the work camp. Oh and no doubt Phee is, or will be, selling antiquities to a certain Corusant antique dealer.
I wish more people watched and realized how big and awesome Star Wars can be. There's so many fans that are still "only movie fans" and won't even give it a shot. The animated work made Star Wars even more special for me.

I glad Hunter and Wrecker didn't question Crosshair's loyalties with Omega being captured. They just understood it was her decision.

The TK's in Bad Batch are FAR better than the stormtroopers in Rebels. I mean they killed Tech too. They never really were incompetent. At least for me personally, they never felt that incompetent

It's very possible this show ends with Rex and Gregor being the only living non-imperial clone characters and that's crazy.

I didn’t think Rampart was still alive, given the empire’s tendency to make people disappear permanently. This episode was pretty fun action wise.
Seeing the juggernauts fight was very good.

Rampart's presence in this episode reminded me a ton of James Norrington, from both appearance and situation. A disgraced person of previous high status, forced to work with those who got him exiled in the first place, possibly out (like Eric said) to regain favor with the Empire. I wouldn't be surprised if Rampart betrayed the squad, but I'm not sure what this version of Davy Jones' heart he'd have as an offering.

I don't know what exactly it was but when Crosshair was with Rampart on the comm with Hunter, it really reminded me of the Pirates movies for some reason. Now that you mention it, Rampart does kinda sound like Norrington a bit
Dude that is an awesome connection I would never have thought of. I don't want him to have the same arc as kallus, so I kind of hope he either dies fighting the empire, or sacrifices himself, however the latter is not in his character at all. And with only 3 episodes left there isn't really time to develop him for that.

Always love seeing the Juggernaut vehicle. Such a cool design.
Here i am hoping to see a lot of clones going to fight at Tantiss.
So, the juggernauts. While the republic walkers were versatile and strong enforcers, these juggernauts really caused good ol' havoc. Since RoTS, I have longed to see these beauties used, and to see Hunter give one a last strong run for the clones makes me all too happy.
With Omega in the Vault now the Bad Batch will have an actual reason to break in there specifically....i can't wait to watch Wrecker storm through that hallway of Commandos.
AND it gives them a 1000% confirmed reason to give us a final fight with commandos. Honestly, I expected it but still. It calms me down knowing that commandos are probably going to be our final end boss enemies. I am very eager to see the next 3 episodes. We can expect an air battle and a jungle battle (confirmed). But I am not sure what else besides maybe the battle for the vault
Another point to consider is that people may not actually know the coordinates to Tantiss, the navigator works off an encoded system. Go to a set point such as a homing beacon, enter a pass code, the automatic system takes them to the home base via a variable set of navigations points.
Blank the flight logs of the vessel as needed.

Not as much as when Hunter use a Juggernaut as a ramp for their own Juggernaut! Rampart and Crosshair getting tossed around that hallways omg.
Okay but imagine how funny it would be after Eric said it, Bib Fortuna was the one who gave the location. (They did a job for Jabba after all.)
In a similar vein to what Aaron was saying, in the episode of Rebels where Ezra and Sabine team up with Saw we see that the Empire uses civilian freighters to ship resources for the Death Star to uninhabited systems where their cargo is offloaded to a Star Destroyer that presumably takes it the rest of the way.
The stormtroopers were also overwhelming the Bad Batch in last season's finale and they only got out due to Tech's sacrifice. Also the Battle of Atollon, under Thrawn, they get our team and have them on their knees until Bendu shows up.
Not really. If it was just stormtroopers they would have probably all escaped fine it was the V Wings that were problems also I dont remember any point at the Battle of Atollon where where Stormtroopers caused problems for the rebels that was done by Walkers and Star Destroyers

I mean the way he was ushered off last time made it clear he would return in some way - but truth be told I thought he would be taken to Tantiss and we'd probably see his experimented corpse in the future.
So either the Bad Batch gets Omega out themselves, or she uses the *tiny* bit of info she got from Ventress and teaches the other kids to somehow escape. Or, and this is probably more likely than Omega teaching others something she doesn't even know, Emry helps.

I can not see how in the force is Omega going to get out of this. Nothing short of a clone uprising is going to cut it. Depending on how dark they want to go this could end with Omega ending herself to try to stop the empire.

I really enjoyed this episode. There were a lot of really awesome and interesting scenes and moments throughout this episode. All around I had a really fun time with this one and despite how fast it felt I still felt like it was really great. I thought the voice acting was perfect as always, and the animation was incredible and beautiful and was able to perfectly capture the tone and atmosphere of whatever it was trying to portray. And again as always the music for this episode was amazing, I’m so glad that they brought the Kiners back to do this shows score. It was a huge surprise to me for us to see Admiral Rampart in this episode. I thought for sure that after he was sent to prison in Season 2 that would be the last we see of him. But I do like that they are kind of bringing the show full circle by bringing back its original villain, even if he is no longer a threat. Also I really liked the look of Rampart’s new character model. I thought the longer, unkempt hair and beard really sold how far he has fallen from his once high position and how he is no longer able to maintain the pristine appearance of a typical Imperial officer. I loved Turbo Tank chase/fight scene, I thought that the entire thing was just really awesome. I loved the part when the Batch broke through the barriers on the bridge and faced off against another Turbo Tank, I also thought this scene was super cinematic. And I thought it was really cool how the Batch got rid of the TK Troopers by just shaking them off their Turbo Tank. Also, I found it kind of lame how they’re just throwing out the excuse that Rampart doesn’t know where Tantiss is, and that the Batch has to do something else before they can get that information. I just kind of feel like seeing as how at the end of Season 1 Rampart was the one who sent Nala Se to Tantiss and how during Season 2 he was the first/only one to send out the CX Trooper/Clone Assassin, he should know where Tantiss is, or at least have it’s coordinates. And it was sad to have to see Omega return to Mount Tantiss, especially with how its atmosphere and all around tone looks and feels darker than before. It feels even sadder when you realize that now that Hemlock knows she has the ability to transfer an M-Count, poor Omega will mostly likely be experimented on now. I can’t wait to see where the ending of this episode will lead into next week’s episode and how it will impact the future of this show and its continuing story. I am still really loving everything about this show and I can’t wait to see the rest of the season and where all the characters and this story and will go next. I absolutely cannot wait for next week’s episode, I am so excited!
I half assumed Rampart's arrest was just for show and that he'd be quietly reintegrated into the military once the whole fiasco had blown over

This was by far my favourite "filler" episode, despite I personally think it had enough story. But that aside, the action was so much fun, and I said last week that I missed these Bad Batch single adventures and now here we got another one! I loved it! Like, the action was just awesome! It was so much fun to watch, and the empire actually was somewhat competent I feel like
Also, the trailer shows the Batch's imperial shuttle taking off from another vessel over Tantiss, meaning they definitly aren't alone...But it doesn't have to be the clone rebellion ship, though possible

I think Rampart might be able to get the info through the Clone Xs because he himself was able to order one to go after Chuchi back in season 2 during the arc where they were trying to figure out what to do with the aging clones and Rampart was trying to start the Stormtrooper program (right before he was arrested). Maybe he at least had a way into the system and might be able to work with the Bad Batch (maybe specifically Echo) to hack back in and use that system to get info on the Clone Xs.

More than definitely there's omission of facts. Even throughout the empires ranks. I think that was really highlighted in the episode where Tarkin is questioning project necro and the funds being directed there. And Tarkin I thought was basically one of palps biggest generals when it came to officers within the empire so id imagine he would be trusted with all details and yet.. he isnt. But with palps everything is meticulously calculated. At least in my own head cannon. I mean why else reduce what was widely known as "the force" to a simple name like "M-count". Its to put this overwhelming shroud over pertinent info that would otherwise bring down everything hes built. In my head if the clones that are free could bring forth evidence that the empire is enslaving, imprisoning, and now attempting to replicate the midichlorians from one individual to another entire systems would revolt. At the very least they'd begin to ask all sorts of questions. I always imagined palps like to work within this shroud of calculated mystery. Sith move within darkness, the more info palps segments the more power he establishes for himself.
I am a big Clone Troopers fan! Rex, Cody, Wolffe, and Bly are my many favorites with Fives, Echo, Howzer, Fireball, Nemic, Thorn, and Doom, especially my profile picture of Commander doom!
Poll: Rampart becomes a fulcrum. We know the republic had a lot of inside help from disenfranchised imperials. I think/hope he will show some minor loyalty to the clones after this.

Ah yes the myth of the Stormtroopers not being able to shoot straight (unfortunately perpetuated by Filoni in The Mandalorian - Bad bad Dave!)
The fact is that Stormtroopers can kill people perfectly well; just not our heroes. In that respect they're the same as any movie or tv series where the main characters have plot armor. They do it pefectly well killing ordinary people in the opening scene of IV (or in Andor) for instance
I really like the design for stormtrooper armour in this series, i know it will eventually be replaced, but I would honestly be ok with them retconning it because this armour looks alot more threatening.

I understand what they're saying about stormtroopers' aim, but throughout the movies, they only kill background characters. They never seem to be able to kill main characters. Also, you forgot the 4 seasons of Rebels where stormtroopers are pretty useless
I have a pretty good feeling that one of the 3 bounty hunters we've seen will be whoever leads the boys to tantis. I'm landing on bane more than fenec or ventress because we have actually physically seen him at the facility.. I Don't know. Just a thought tugging at me.

They need to get Fennec to pretend to bring Gungi in and the boys can track Scorch and Emerie to Tantis but make sure they get him, Omega and the force kids out of there. I feel like they are like Din without his RazorCrest ship. The Marauder was so awesome! Loved seeing them being a squad again and they work like a well oiled machine!
Rampart was always a self serving rat. The moment he sees an opportunity to better his station he will take it. Weither that is helping or hindering the Bad Batch crowd does not really matter to him in my opinion.

Thinking Omega and Emerie will get a signal out. I hope they kill Hemlock. I know Tantiss is in further media but it could’ve been destroyed partly during an escape/rescue. May explain the need to use Grogu’s blood in future. Omega’s blood might have been used to make Rey. That maybe her decency was passed along as well…..

I think the stormtrooper stuff has a lot of factors.
There are hundreds of them, possibly breaking 1,000, over the course of canon.
They have directly shot and killed maybe 5 major characters. Most of these happen in the stories where everyone died at the end.
Said major characters practically always kill a TK with every shot.
In the original movie, Han shoots one and the entire group runs away.
Luke comments he can’t see in the helmet.
Clones are shown far more effective, easily wiping out droid battalions and later killing most Jedi
No Stormtrooper has EVER killed a Jedi with a gun.
As a whole, they are blatantly incompetent within the original movies.
Then Rebels comes out. While it does make the heroes miss a _significant_ amounts of shots compared to normal, Stormtroopers are always a joke. They never hit a major character, they’re incredibly easy to infiltrate the ranks of, none of them can do anything without a commander, people knock them out with their bare hands, and I’m not even just referring to Zeb, human characters punch an armored helmet and knock someone out.
By this point the narrative of them sucking is permanently locked in.
Bad Batch is the exception, and it’s for a variety of reasons. In every post-ROTS story, there’s either a lightsaber or the story is built around “everyone dies.” Bad Batch is the only exception.
They are directly trained by clone commandos
They’re a new system which is likely only recruiting the most capable at the start
There’s no saber or beskar to block them, so the shots that get close pose a far bigger threat.
There’s no inquisitors and minimal major villains with combat presence . The stormtroopers are the main combat antagonists.
The fact that hopping on a tank and blowing up its guns is so “shockingly effective” is because this is the show where they are effective in a way that I’m not thinking “well all these characters are clearly gonna die, let’s see how long they last.” Rogue One is honestly terrible here because like beskar, all shots are 100% accurate the moment a plot detail changes. Everyone dies the moment they do their one thing.
The other reason the tank scene is shocking:
No one’s done that to those things before. Hell, people barely try to go for guns on any of the Walkers or ships. It’s surprising because it’s the reasonable tactic and we’ve never had it done.
Have they really not learned that Batcher is a girl yet? It's said almost every episode that she's in?
Still doesn't stop me from enjoying the HECK out of these reactions though! 😂

Eric, hard disagree, Chewie didnt get his medal, he was given Han's medal. Given the life span difference, its like a human being handed their dog's collar back after the dog dies, its one of the saddest moments in Star Wars, and it doesn't take away from ANH in anyway. IMO

Stormtroopers are only uneffective against force users. Luke/Leia are god tier force users and Han/Lando passively dodge blaster fire from everyone not just stormtroopers.

For the life of me, I can't recall Rampart falling from grace and being arrested?
It happened when he got exposed in front of the senate for the destruction of Kamino.
In season 2 when senator Chu-Chi showed the senate the destruction of Kanimo they arrested him because he was in charge of it.

It was in season 2 when they exposed him for destroying Tipoca City in front of the senate and the Emperor came out and had him arrested and announced that Clones would be replaced since they went along with something so evil without questioning orders

I wouldnt call Stormtroopers taking out their own tech that wasnt fighting back while not being shot at threatening. The most impressive thing they did in that sequence was rappel down onto a moving Turbo Tank but even then that was more impressive for the pilot keeping them on target
Hemlock is crazy, if Omega is genuinely THE key to what he is doing, Omega would never go anywhere without a half dozen guards as well as security droids. She would NEVER be alone with anyone especially other clones who might sympathize with her. I would also have a security team doing nothing but recording her, cameras and mics. Why is he letting her be alone with anyone…. It’s wild.
They are inside a three foot thick vault, inside a laser grid, inside the deepest level of a mountain which is protected by gas traps and guarded by dozens (at least) of loyal clone commandos and hundreds of TK Stormtroopers (well, you can't have everything 🙄), all of which is on a planet no one in the Empire without the highest security clearance knows how to get to.
That seems quite paranoid enough.

Is there multiple vaults? cause before Hemlock went through the laser hallway before and it brought him to that lab were those fancy tanks with something inside it was...yet this laser hallway "vault" led to the kids room?
The laser hallway never lead to the room with the tanks he went from that room to the laser hallway then to the vault

The laser corridor leads to a hub. From there you can go to the room with those pods or the area where the kids are kept, and who knows what other horrifying things they are doing there. The entire space is referred to as The Vault.

Regarding StormTroopers these guys were recruited. Later on the empire conscripted them. They weren’t all there by choice. Or wanted to be there.
