@@kurokasetto it's like the game of chess or the game of go: you can learn how to play it in an afternoon and spend the rest of your life learning how to master it. my wife gave me a strymon bigsky reverb unit for christmas this past year. they play well together. from my artist account: ua-cam.com/video/KRzBbJQcPww/v-deo.html
this jam is amazing like how did you do that. the microfreak is my first synth after a few years experience with plugins. I got bored with the digital sounds and wanted some analog sound design. I played around with it and it was a bit overwhelming especially the matrix. shameless to say, my dark blue microfreak has been collecting dust. I believe I have to sit down and learn all those functions from scratch again but this video shows that the work will pay off.
I recently got this as my first synth and I am beyond happy with it. After a few years of using software plugins and nothing else, I was afraid my first synth was gonna sound somewhat underwhelming compared to my plugins, but I've found that I love this thing. It's cool to see how many other people are using it.
An onboard reverb like the Typhon has from Sinevibes would put this synth into legendary status. It's already very fun and flexible to use, but it does need some fx to make it sound less dry.
Cool...I nearly sold my freak a few times as I found it over complicated for a first synth..but the more I use it the more it grows on me ..glad I kept it up to now...
beautiful. I haven't mastered making my own sequences and combining it with the matrix yet on my microfreak. it's a delightful and inspiring machine. Best synth I own.

Thank you! The signal chain is the Microfreak to a console, and via an aux a bit of reverb from the Alesesis Qudraverb and some delay from a Alesis Wedge. I hope it is clearly understood and helpful to you (:
The micro freak is so good it’s unfair lol. Probably the best starting synths and you won’t need to upgrade it’s so good!
I agree with you! the best synth for beginners and not so beginners, and being able to update it is a great plus!

Lovely! Gives me Boards of Canada vibes.
Thanks!! :D

It's a marvelous synth ♥
Such a beautiful and soothing jam. Really bewitching atmosphere.
Many thanks, I appreciate :D
that was awesome, I'm definitely going to buy a Microfreak
Thanks! You will not regret it, hours of fun you will have (:
It's not only the MicroFreak, the effects making this patch nice sounding.
completely agree, the effects complement and make everything sound beautiful (:

Beautiful scenery, audibly and visually! Interesting play with the super long predelay :))
Thank you! (:

Good decision! it is a very good and powerful synthesizer :D
it sound so nice
Thanks (:
Very pleasant 😴

Thanks! Yes it is a bit complicated at first but little by little one learns, but as you say it is a beautiful machine and one of the best synths (:
Hello, how did you sequence an ambient track and layer a different preset track on top of it? Awesome stuff btw!
Hello, I don't think that's possible, or I don't know how to do that. You can create a sequence and play over it in the same preset.
Beautiful, Microfreak is amazing!
Thanks! :D Awesome machine
Perfect for silent movie drama and slow motion.
thank you!
I hope one day it can be used for something like that (:

Greetings :D
What a nice sounding thing.
Thanks! :D
Seriously. Some demonstrations of the Microfreak sound pretty strange, but you play it very well. Lots of possibilities with that instrument.
great jam
thanks friend :D
awesome stuff
thanks (:
Beautiful sounding patch, well done!
thank you very much! I appreciate (:
Is this a homemade patch or a preset?
it's a homemade patch (:
what are you using to sequence it?
the internal sequencer (:
Cool!
thanks! :D
really nice :)
thank you very much :D
👍👍👍👏👏👏😊
Nice!
thanks friend :D
What reverb?
Quadraverb and wedge by Alesis.
Great !! Sounds well 😎😍😎 rock on, subscribed this, c ya 👌
Thanks! Glad you like it! I appreciate (:
I like this a lot. Is this 100% Microfreak or did you use external delay?
Thank you! no, there are also effects, an alesis quadraverb and a wedge (:
@@kurokasetto Never heard of them. So I looked them up. They seem quite interesting.
@@MrSindala yes they are beautiful and interesting devices, cheap and with many possibilities (:
Wow wonderful! What is the signal chain.. are there any external affects for the MF?

Prob the best value in synths today. Pair this with a Zoom MS-70 CDR and you are in business.
Completely agree :D
I have never tried that pedal but I really want to try it (:
