🖖😎👍It's a very great and wonderful little kit indeed and very nicely well detailed in every way shape and form and and comes with a great set of decals which includes the Aztecs as well all in all its a very great kit indeed and very nicely well priced at just $26.95 at Walmart, And if you decide not to light it craft mirrors and aluminum foil works great behind the clear parts by using staind glass paints to paint them with and the model is very close to 8" long when it's all finished!,👌.
I totally agree with the blue background on the decal sheets when I was building my shenzhou I inadvertently cut through the white window decal simply because I just couldn't see them until it was too late. Definite improvement right there
Im building the Discovery right now. This line of models is very well done. I can't want to get to the Enterprise. I'm using Testors Diamond dust as a base coat looks awesome on these ships!
If you can’t get magnet wire through there, a conducive copper tape might work. I seem to remember a couple years ago someone used it (or maybe conducive paint?) on an Enterprise D to get power to the nacelles. Amazon has both the tape and paint. Anyway just an idea.
Looking forward to grabbing these kits. I'm in the UK. It seems like we get things a lot later. The site I usually buy my kits from are taking pre-orders, with a release date of the end of September.
Does it say 1/2500 on the box? How does it compare in size to other 1/2500 Star trek kits? I think TOS Enterprise should be about 4.5 Inches. If you have it in that scale could you show them side by side? I would love to add this to my collection but prices here in Europe are getting a little bit ridiculous - they are charging more for those Disco snap kits than 1/1400 D or E or even 1/537 Refit. Thank you for your content.
"Can't mold window details that small" - Bandai does it all the time. Round2 did better with the decals this time by having the registry and some line work as separate decals for those who don't want the aztec - which doesn't look good on tiny kits. They did a good job with clear parts here. I still shame my head that they didn't do clear windows for the new Space 1999 Eagle... a $50 kit. Geez.

Gunmetal for the body, but what is the gold for? Also, what would the white be for?
The deflector dish.
I think white would just be for some of the windows if you don't light it, like the big one in front of the saucer
@@allscaletrek Thanks!
Looks good . I think you realy have to find a way to light this . It won't look right with the set. Have you tried 30 AWG wire?
I have some, I've used it in the other builds I think I will try to use it on this one.
I just purchased this kit and they corrected the error on the box and now it says 7 1/2 inches instead of 12.
I read a rumor that they will release a larger scale model of this ship towards the end of the year.

why does the enterprise belong to captain pike?
I don't know MAYBE I will get this. I am too faithful to the original enterprise.
Love to get my hands on this. Discovery was dreadful and this was the only good thing about it.
