Todd Friel, thank you (Thank the Lord) for your ministry and your in-depth knowledge of the Word of God. I do not even have the adequate words to describe my appreciation of your expounding of the scriptures. May God bless you and your boldness in calling out false teachers/preachers' blatant disregard for the absolute deity of God, many of whom attempt to 'win' people with their ridiculous attire & mannerisms when 'preaching.' Unfortunately, I tend to actually even get ANGRY when I accidentally click on their site, and within seconds, am disgusted at their so-called love of the gospel, when in actuality, their demeanor(s) present nothing but attempts to 'entertain' parishioners with their almost blasphemous music, faux prayers, etc. Are these the 'charismatics' who are so off-the-wall absurd, that I question even their salvation? As stated, I get angry, which I admit is not Christ-like, at thair circus-like antics. All (???) in the name of JESUS??!!?? It is as was predicted. The time is short, how short no one knows, but remember He will come as a thief in the night so prepare yourself. Be like the five wise virgins and remember to prepare yourself first. Charity should always begin at home.
Use discernment. Read your Bible for yourself and compare it against teachers. False teachers: Benny Hinn, Bethel, Hillsong, Elevation, bunch of them. I'd check Shai Linne's song "False Teachers" for a good start.
So, what I heard in that clip was: "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." 2 Corinthians 5.21 Understandably the connotation of the verbiage used in the clip can lead one to suspect the teacher's understanding of this passage. - - as an aside, a related verse (though indirect) is Hebrews 4.15 (For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things just as we are, yet without sin.) - - A higher standard is held for teachers... we know this from the scripture... but even Mr. Friel has spoken things that I've done a double take on and had to research to clarify and understand some of his takes to carry with them his personal opinions. Correction in love before a rebuke has always been the Lord's way. We should follow that. Because the same way we deal with these things is the way we will be dealt with. As to questionable teachings, be like the Bereans: Chew the meat and spit out the bones from teachers of the word that seem suspect. For Instance: Someone who was dealing with porn may have needed to understand that Jesus dealt with the same thing... but He conquered it and when he 'became' that sin on the cross... it was atoned for forever. This aligns with the typology of the sacrificial lamb as being Christ. In Lev 4.27-33 A penitent would lay their hand on the head of a worthy sacrificial 'sin offering' animal and that animal symbolically 'became' the sin of that person which was destroyed in fire outside the camp and the blood which cleansed and covered that sin was poured out and it's fat burned. God came to earth to live a perfect life, take upon himself the sin of the world (in so doing becoming sin symbolically as the lamb) and die as the perfect sacrifice so that a new covenant might be established. This is what I glean from that verse 2nd Cor 5.21... and hope it was the heart of the message (that unfortunately I haven't heard in full) that was preached from that individual. Cheers!
You are so right, Brother Todd! The Lord warned us of the false teachers and one’s dressed in sheep’s clothing! Jesus, the Lord..The Word ….book by book verse by verse needs to be taught…if a PREACHER STARTS ADDING their view point, is leading people to Hell. We MUST make sure our Pastors, Shepherds, Leaders need to be JUST teaching th3 Word o& God…..WE AS BELIEVERS AND FOLLOWERS OF GOD…..NEED TO BRING OUR OWN BIBLES TO CHURCH TO MAKE SURE WE AS FOLLOWERS AND BELIEVERS ARE HELPING OUR LEADERS IN CHECK AS THE SHEPARDER bc they too are children of God.
People are imperfect and you will never see the fullness of God in a human. Psalms says His greatness is unsearchable. So even the best and "holiest" preacher will say wrong things. We need unity as a church to do what jesus came to do which is destroy the works of the enemy.
I have had 2 good friends be sucked up into the NAR and word of faith. The NAR person worked hard for me to understand how Judas was saved because he was doing what God wanted him to do by betraying Jesus! The other one would constantly tell me I was judging her even when we weren’t speaking of things God! They are both gone from my life. I love them and truly miss them, but this is Jesus we’re talking about. The TRUTH! I’ve said what I needed to say to them about keeping to the pure gospel. It’s now up to Holy Spirit to do His work in their hearts.
Although it's not a bad idea to expose false prophets (especially those in the Charismatic potpourri) but we as born again Christians shouldn't waste too much time on it (like Justin Peters does). Any true follower of Christ should be able to exercise proper discernment and be able to spot a wolf in sheep's clothing just by simply reading God's Word. We know from Paul's letters (to Timothy, Titus, Corinthians, Galatians, etc) that the apostle frequently had to combat preachers of error that had infiltrated the Christian churches even in those days. Not only did Paul have much to say in his writings but John (particularly 1st-John), Peter (particularly 2nd-Peter), Jude, and especially our Lord Jesus Christ had plenty to say on this matter. Just read your Bibles prayerfully and the Holy Spirit WILL guide you in the right direction.
These ‘leaders’ are probably not even Christians at all! So many modern evangelicals are really gullible and fall for all this nonsense. Also it has to be said that so many people who sit in evangelical churches are not Christians either and are not really saved, but have been persuaded by emotional appeals to think that they are. Very sad!
We pray God will expose and close down these health and prosperity preachers. The Gospel is the Gospel stick to reading your Bible and pray for all who are being deceived. God bless you.

Indeed, so many false doctrines. It is not unlike the political range of beliefs. The depravity does not exist in a single place. The father of lies works in many places. Ecclesiates 7:29 says, "Truly, this only I have found: That God made man upright, But they have sought out many schemes.” King Solomon, the wisest man that will ever live, showed us that even though we were made perfect, innocent, our hearts devise evil. Isaiah 7:15-16, "Curds and honey He shall eat, that He may know to refuse the evil and choose the good. For before the Child shall know to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land that you dread will be forsaken by both her kings." To be born innocent, be properly raised and make a free will choice for good over evil? False doctrines muddy this up. Satan revels in confusion. He's the master of controlled opposition. He'll give you two opposing views and attempt to convince the hearer to choose one or the other; He wins either way if that happens. We need the Holy Spirit. He will lead us to all Truth. As God's Word says, "Let God be true and every man, a liar." That scripture must hold true, regardless of who it is. Myself? The pope? A pastor? The "prince" of pastors? Choose the Prince of Peace.
I agree that Spurgeon was a solid teacher of the WORD. HOWEVER, instead of always looking toward teachers of the past we need to look to JESUS amd HIS example, HIS WORD first and foremost..everytime. The church exists to be a reflection of Christ to all, surely then any church, organisation or preacher who that says that God condemned the majority of the world to hell (from the beginning of time) should be considered dangerous.
The devil's lies are almost always mostly true, with just a little falseness. This same trait makes the most dangerous false teachers - they'll say a lot of right things, but also include a little falseness. "A little leaven ruins the whole lump."

i think part of the problem is many professing Christians don't know what are essential beliefs to being a true Christian and what aren't. A lot of professing Christians act like as long as the person says they are a Christian and love Jesus then they truly are. But there are damnable heresies i.e. believing God is unitarian and not trinitarian. Adding works to faith for salvation is also a damnable heresy.

It is a downright SHAME, and the ultimate SIN of professing God on one hand, while otherwise being demonic overall.
these people are sick
Truth sometimes has a bitter taste.
I heard Evergreen got 3 feet of snow last week . Is the Evergreen Crafters still on main Street ??
Imagine being a money changer that Jesus took a strap to….let that sink in for a moment
"Mom, what's beastiality?" Asks the 12 year old in attendance at White's church. 😬
I attempted to warn a person I thought was friend of Robert Morris and individual cut all ties
I was once a fan or Morris until he preached a sermon on tithing and bragged about he gave a tithing of 20%. He basically was shaming the congregation into tithing more
@@rowdyrx6109 Same here. He recently preached at our church, and I was absent on that day. As a matter of fact, I am currently seeking another fellowship due to seeing things that are a concern to me.
@@rowdyrx6109yupp, i was at a service where he promoted his new book for the first 15-20 minutes of it. I stopped going and found a nice small church that is very scripture based and pulls no punches on the truth
These churches are like sanitary landfills .. I will leave it there for comments 😅
It is as was predicted. The time is short, how short no one knows, but remember He will come as a thief in the night so prepare yourself. Be like the five wise virgins and remember to prepare yourself first. Charity should always begin at home.
You better be ready???
Can anyone give me the Cliffed Notes version of this video?
Use discernment. Read your Bible for yourself and compare it against teachers.
False teachers: Benny Hinn, Bethel, Hillsong, Elevation, bunch of them. I'd check Shai Linne's song "False Teachers" for a good start.
Oh and Todd White. Super dangerous. Subtle and and even a good speaker.
@@Not_Mussolini_ Thank you.
todd white "Jesus became..." "Jesus became...", unbelievable!
It’s sickening. Hard to listen to, but so many do listen to him and believe the blasphemy he’s spewing out.
So, what I heard in that clip was:
"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." 2 Corinthians 5.21
Understandably the connotation of the verbiage used in the clip can lead one to suspect the teacher's understanding of this passage.
- - as an aside, a related verse (though indirect) is Hebrews 4.15 (For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things just as we are, yet without sin.) - -
A higher standard is held for teachers... we know this from the scripture... but even Mr.
Cheers!
Well said, thank you!!
Young earth creationism is a very important doctrine.
We MUST make sure our Pastors, Shepherds, Leaders need to be JUST teaching th3 Word o& God…..WE AS BELIEVERS AND FOLLOWERS OF GOD…..NEED TO BRING OUR OWN BIBLES TO CHURCH TO MAKE SURE WE AS FOLLOWERS AND BELIEVERS ARE HELPING OUR LEADERS IN CHECK AS THE SHEPARDER bc they too are children of God.
thank God you wont be the judge
People are imperfect and you will never see the fullness of God in a human. Psalms says His greatness is unsearchable. So even the best and "holiest" preacher will say wrong things. We need unity as a church to do what jesus came to do which is destroy the works of the enemy.
This answers my Alistair Begg question. Thanks. 👍
The false teachers will have to stand before Christ and give an account, probably at the Great White Throne Judgement! God will not be mocked!
Nah. The great white throne judgement is for believers only
You should do one on Kathryn Krick.
Dr. Godfrey covers denominationalism and unity amongst Christians in Ligonier Church history.
Wow. Thanks Todd.
But thats the thing isnt it, so many cannot (or will not?) Use the discernment our Lord gives us. Most refuse to even read the Word for themselves.
2/3 of Jesus ministry was healing the sick. Do you think it stop when he was crusified? NO IT DIDNT
Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions'” (Luke 12:15). Life is about more than money. Granted-money can make life a lot easier. Like health, finances are one of the things that are easy to take for granted until they are gone.
"Nicely warn them and their followers"?
I would nicely warn their followers, but Scripture says that false teachers should be "rebuked sharply." Titus 1:10-13
Very, very difficult being nice when it comes to false teachers and preachers!
Coming from the man on an expensive set wearing the perfect fitting suit. Would that money have not been put to better use. Maybe like feeding the poor. Watch out preacher I think you do protest too much. I don’t think you have what it takes to give it all away and follow Jesus.

Amen love this thank you
Indeed, so many false doctrines. It is not unlike the political range of beliefs. The depravity does not exist in a single place. The father of lies works in many places.
Ecclesiates 7:29 says, "Truly, this only I have found: That God made man upright, But they have sought out many schemes.”
King Solomon, the wisest man that will ever live, showed us that even though we were made perfect, innocent, our hearts devise evil.
Isaiah 7:15-16, "Curds and honey He shall eat, that He may know to refuse the evil and choose the good. For before the Child shall know to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land that you dread will be forsaken by both her kings."
To be born innocent, be properly raised and make a free will choice for good over evil? False doctrines muddy this up. Satan revels in confusion. He's the master of controlled opposition. He'll give you two opposing views and attempt to convince the hearer to choose one or the other; He wins either way if that happens.
We need the Holy Spirit. He will lead us to all Truth. As God's Word says, "Let God be true and every man, a liar."
That scripture must hold true, regardless of who it is. Myself? The pope?

People are only people..sinful people. JESUS is and was the ONLY sinless human to ever live..and HE is our SAVIOR.
its EASY to identify the FAKES... they want yuor money and your adoration and they use flattery and false doctrine to get it
BRO TODD ARE YOU SURE brother Spurgeon is not alive today,as he is speaking the truth today 100 o/o.Just what we really to hear.God bless you brother Todd all the way from Australia Shalom ❤😊
I went to a church once that was selective about who Jesus died on the cross.
Charles Spurgeon could be referring to the 21st century.
@@rogerwilliams5382 I really don’t know how you came to the conclusion that I think Mr. Spurgeon was a false prophet because I certainly do not think any such thing! I merely meant in reference to false teachers and those who listen to their nonsense that there is nothing new under the sun.

These preachers do. not love GOD...No way ! The people that follow them are under judgement. Wake up people!. 😮
When that lady said, saying that a person is earning their salvation by saying they "Claim Jesus as Lord" that depends on whether the person is saying it by their own works, or by the Spirit through the Word. I think?

I almost missed it. 😂
Is that Robert Morris at 1:45?
It sure is
Yes. He was one of the pastor I would follow. He was preaching on tithings and announced that he tithed 20% basically shaming his congregation to tithe more and now this heresy.
Why does this guy remind me of the religious Bill Nye The Science Guy lol
The church exists to be a reflection of Christ to all, surely then any church, organisation or preacher who that says that God condemned the majority of the world to hell (from the beginning of time) should be considered dangerous.
The devil's lies are almost always mostly true, with just a little falseness. This same trait makes the most dangerous false teachers - they'll say a lot of right things, but also include a little falseness. "A little leaven ruins the whole lump."
Perfect video to list Doug Wilson.
Doug Wilson is fantastic.

good question///
Every time I see these videos on faults teachers, the first thought I have is Matthew 7:21
I won't lie. It is bad all over the place and much worse than many might wish to believe.
Facts
i think part of the problem is many professing Christians don't know what are essential beliefs to being a true Christian and what aren't. A lot of professing Christians act like as long as the person says they are a Christian and love Jesus then they truly are. But there are damnable heresies i.e. believing God is unitarian and not trinitarian. Adding works to faith for salvation is also a damnable heresy.
Thank you, brother! 🎉. We DO need to warn people about false teachers, but we also need to STOP eating our own over every little disagreement. Your words were kind, truthful and well timed. You called out those who needed to be, and didn’t call out brothers by name; you let the Holy Spirit convict instead. I hope many others in the corporate Church will learn from your example…and model it!!!❤
