I also must admit that I had an ill- perception about them from watching Hollywood characters from "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" and " The Cosby show" ( Yes!!! We had TVs in Africa - ask Charity Ekezie😂) I also didn't understand that systematic racism was still rife and so I also had unpleasant experiences of this walking into the stores or going to certain areas from some white folks. We can't understand each other in this case. We can empathize and try to learn by asking each other of our experiences...but we'll still never get it.
