Check the contract if the bond excludes mental health situations. If not, try negotiating with your employer on this point. If not, then you'll have to comply with the obligations you agreed to, including the employment bond.

However, I just want to warn everyone else that just because you were able to resign immediately doesn't mean it will be that way for all people. There are legal requirements and corresponding legal consequences if these are not followed. If you fell under the exemptions to turnovers, then no wonder po naka resign kayo immediately. If you didn't fall under the exceptions to the turnover and yet you left without the 30 day period, then consider yourself fortunate po because discretionary naman po for the employer whether to enforce the consequences. As per the labor code, it is mandatory to render 30 days upon resignation. However, it is the discretion of the company when you want earlier date. It is the right of the employer. Depende na sa inyong agreement basta maayos kang nakipag-upas, or else you are liable for damages.

How about those with employment bond? Based on signed contract, voluntary resignation will require me to pay the bond (employer spent amount in training). But I am currently having mental issues (panic attacks/anxiety), can I use my medical diagnosis as a reasonable cause for terminating my probe contract early, without paying such bond? Check the contract if the bond excludes mental health situations. If not, try negotiating with your employer on this point. If not, then you'll have to comply with the obligations you agreed to, including the employment bond.

However, I just want to warn everyone else that just because you were able to resign immediately doesn't mean it will be that way for all people. There are legal requirements and corresponding legal consequences if these are not followed.
If you fell under the exemptions to turnovers, then no wonder po naka resign kayo immediately. If you didn't fall under the exceptions to the turnover and yet you left without the 30 day period, then consider yourself fortunate po because discretionary naman po for the employer whether to enforce the consequences. They just chose to let the matter go.

As per the labor code, it is mandatory to render 30 days upon resignation. However, it is the discretion of the company when you want earlier date. It is the right of the employer. Depende na sa inyong agreement basta maayos kang nakipag-upas, or else you are liable for damages.

may concern lang po ako , kasi nag resigned po ako last January 2023 sa isang private company. Tapos ngayon lang pong March 2023 ay nag release sila ng commission share for the month of July to September 2022, last year, (sobrang tagal po ang release) at sa time na to nagtatrabaho pa po ako sa company. At ngayon po nag tanong ako sa HR kung makakatanggap pa po ba ako , sabi nila hindi na po kasi nag resign na po pero during that computed commission for that months ay hindi pa po ako nag resign just this recent January 2023.
