At Lake Five, there's a white house with some red outbuildings around it.... after you turn on the lake five road, and the road curves to the left or right, I was born in that white house....it was a strawberry farm at the time. best memories anyone could ever want to have. great danes howling to the harmonica music on the porch in the hot summer, swimming in lake five....bears. Your videos really get my memories going.

hello from the province of Pontassieve, in Florence, Italy, I have a Suzuki Jimmy 4x4 with m13a 1.3 LT petrol engine, 2001, all original, which I use for off-road on rural and forest roads, and I see that my Suzuki Jimmy 4x4, even if ! it is original in the countryside, on the dirt roads of rural farms and on the forest roads where loggers often take the wood from the forest with their forest tractors, skidders and forwarders, it feels very good on these tracks, even if it is all original and not ready for extreme off-road, but with the right mud tires it copes very well with off-road and forest roads, even in the presence of mud !

@@hunter_pauley Yeah climate change is affecting Europe especially harsh, like our winters are quite mild and our summers are horrendous. But even without climate change it would be warmer here than in North America or East Asia.
Nice video there hunter, just wondering why you don't just make a fire with a bunch of rocks?. I think this portable fireplace looks cool but I guess if I was camping I'd just make my own fireplace lol.
@@Pond6 not enough rocks in this area and there was a designated pit to use. The solo stove also doesn’t smoke you out which can be nice. It also wouldn’t have been very “ethical” to stack rocks in that area either as it’s pretty much a parking area. Trying to follow the “leave no trace”. I still love a traditional fire (especially in the dead of winter) but during certain fire ban stages, you can’t do the traditional rock method - has to be contained with a pit/container like the solo stove, etc. Would I use the solo stove all the time? No but I like it in certain applications like this one.

@@pz8783 saw it in person twice now. No opinion because I haven’t tried it. I also don’t know how much testing they actually did with the new tent. One I saw at PNW already was having some stitching issues with the super square corners, something mine and older V2s were experiencing. I think they need to round the corners or reevaluate the design there. Everything else they added in theory should help mitigate a lot of the issues previous owners like myself had.
@hunter_pauley I sold my V2 RTT recently and couldn't be happier TBH. I have had bad experiences with it for the past 2 yrs especially in the rain. Even with the new pro upgrade, I don't think it was worth investing any more $ into it.
@@pz8783 yea it seems to be the transition for a lot of folks. Great entry into the space but a lot of folks usually upgrade especially if you spend a lot of time in it. I can’t be certain but I also think the tent material is the same in the pro as the v2.

The flicker/different color you see is the camera and frame rate. They are all the same color and amber but it will show up as the yellow, red, etc.
