      I have a Rad Mission, the Rad City 4 and the Rad Rover 6 Plus step through. I had one Rad City 2019 that got stolen so I had to replace it as I love the Rad City. Also would like to add I have ridden this brand of bikes for over 5 years in rain snow and ice storms and the bikes have never skipped a single beat. Extremely well made bikes.

      @ticktock1963 Wow, you are truly a Rad fan! I appreciate your feedback 😁... but sorry to hear about the stolen ebike. That's a big bummer!

    I have a RadMini step-thru... it's older but absolutely love it! Feels super solid even after several years! The RadCity looks awesome too.

    Wife has a new Aventon Level 2 with the torque sensor. She loves everything about this bike especially after I installed a suspension seatpost. The quality of Aventon is top notch. Battery life is great with the new torque sensor. We rode 26 miles with her using level 1 power while peddling. Still had over 70% life remaining. Really good ebike.

    Hello to all!!
    I bought a rad city 5 plus model yesterday.
    I am living at Athens Greece!!
    I am really hoping that all goes well with the bike because I have read some really bad comments for customer support and the delivery...

    Thanks for the demonstration on the hill. I need a bike that can throttle up almost a mile of 8-10% grade. Do you know the grade of the hills you climbed? Has anyone else tried this model on extended hills?

      You bet! I live in a very hilly area and wouldn't be able to ride a bike if it weren't for electric bikes. The RadCity 5 Plus (alnk.to/fwpGurz) should be plenty powerful to get up any hill. Just consider that you're talking about a long, steep incline. So, you will go slower and you will blast through your battery quickly, no matter which bike you're on! Also, consider that your size will affect hill power as well. I also love that Rad bikes have on-demand throttle, so you can go as hard as you want even on pedal assist level 1!

    you (or the chaps in Thailand) used the wrong holes for your rear fender mount (the relector goes in those holes). Look for two holes further down near the mudflap and mount the fender there. You won't have that crazy amount of fender clearance at the top of the tire. If you didn't get the reflector, ask Rad to mail you one and question their QC if they ask you to pay for it.
    3:25 Rad even have it wrong in their AD... the reflector points down at the road surface and the clearance is just silly.

      Thanks for pointing this out... some ridiculous things happen at the factory!

    Seems to me that RAD is losing market share, lots of good competition coming up with better features and RAD seems to be a bit stagnant.

      The competition is definitely fierce! I'm hearing about new brands weekly... some of them are likely good quality, like Rad, but some are not. Competition, and lower prices, will help more people get on an e-bike :)

    It's a Rad Bike so it's worth the money. Good products withstand the test of time.

    Do you have to install the rack?

    • @ebikingtoday
      @ebikingtoday  Рік тому +1

      Nope. It's already fully integrated! And it's a really substantial rack :)
