    The volcanos, the beautiful scenery, the clear water and tiny amazing little jelly fish. All put together in another amazing video, and then there's the bloody cans, the bloody cans.
    Makes me wish I could just see the person placing them to get an understanding of who'd do that.
    Thanks Guys.

    Amazing how powerful that volcano 🌋 was when it erupted how did it compare to taupo when it erupted?

    Hey Cruising Kiwis,
    Thanks for the episode and giving a history lesson about the volcanic activity. I always thought that the Krakatoa eruption caused the “year without summer” in Europe. Thanks Rachel for doing research about it and passing it on as a homeschool teacher. You’re doing a fantastic job for your boys and us viewers.
    As for walking barefooted: In the summer I like walking with no shoes on for most of the time as a mindfulness exercise. I had no idea of that it also was being physically beneficial. It snowed a lot here in Belgium so after watching this video I took off my shoes and went for a walk in the snow. Painful in the first 10 minutes but so satisfying at the end of a 20 minute walk when I got home again.
    Cheers! Fair winds and following seas!

    • @TheCruisingKiwis
      @TheCruisingKiwis  Рік тому +1

      You are made of hardy stuff FlyingV, twenty minutes barefoot in the snow deserves a medal. I know Wim Hof does a lot of barefoot snowy walks but possibly best to limit these to 5 minutes until summer. We wouldn't want you losing any of your toes to frostbite.

    Hi Kiwis, love the episode as always. So on the bare foot thing, I tend to agree, however I was bushwalking with my son the other day and we came across this random boxing bag tied to a tree, so I did what any self respecting person would do and gave it a good kick with my thongs on (jandals for my kiwi cousins) and had a major blow out and sent my broken thong flying into the bush. Upon retrieval of said thong, I noticed the major blow out and had to walk barefoot back to the house. Are you aware of how hot the ground is in summer in Australia! Fair to say I made it back to the house slightly quicker than expected hhahah. Love the show, Cheers Kiwis from Western Australia

    And talking about barefoot activity, do you remember back in 1963 before his assassination, JFK introduced the idea of doing 50 miles, not kilometers, walking for the youth of the day. Claiming they weren't getting enough exercise. This before Couch potatoes was a thing. One of my school mates did it barefoot. Yep the whole distance. And having lived through 76 summers myself, I still walk around barefoot. Until frost appears. I mean, why not?? And yeah you'd think at my age, walking through clover when bees are active would be a bad idea. Yes it is,and yes I get zapped. Moving on...thanks again for the upload. Thanks for sharing. My mom is from Puerto Rico ...
    .. when we kids would run outside barefoot she would yell at us, “put your shoes or you will get hookworm.” To which my older siblings would reply, “mom ... this is San Francisco!”
