Tom Bailey did run a 5.96 on Drag Week for the first ever 5sec pass on any Drag and Drive event but after Drag Week and before the fire he ran a handful of passes that were quicker and faster than his 5.96 on Drag Week I think his best pass to date is a 5.77@253mph I know that it was a 5.77 but not exactly sure on the MPH but I think it was 253mph but still that is a blistering fast pass no matter what
Tom nailed it. Give them enough time to enjoy the week, don’t make them drive all over gods green earth. And give them a track they can race on. Tom is gonna go far as a promoter, as all real racers do. They know what it’s really like out there.
Drag week is definitely more challenging. But it’s painful and not that much fun for a lot of the real fast cars. To grueling. By the end of the week your car is about dead and so are you trying to keep it road worthy and track worthy. Not to mention the cash you got to dump into it. Think will see a lot more race cars turn out for events like these.
one of my neighbors had a roadmaster, that thing would come around corners squealing tires at 35 mph over the speed limit in our 25 mph residential neighborhood, and then this little old granny would come out and walk into her home. She nearly killed me *twice,* good memories.

You guys are just top quality you talk to the racers interact and communicate back to us watching at home witch is absolute key and do a fantastic job doing it all! Today my favorite car is definitely the Waggon ! I'm a family man so I can appreciate a family rig being Hot Rodded out lol
This is one of the most fun videos you have done in a long time. Best parts were the convos you had with the 'favorite' cars and drivers. Thanks for sharing.
This is the great thing about 1320 videos, sure we have the stream on Tom's channel which is great, but 1320 do a great job at the personal side of the racing and introducing us to the drivers.
Yep. He's built quite BIG power out of his own design, and DURABLE also. It's quite an accomplishment to be able to make a 3500+h.p. drag engine survive for even a few miles on the street, much less still be able to put 5's down after 1000 miles of street driving. Unbelievable!
Yes Dave we are all enjoying this as well. You are all Hero's and the gradification you get is just a fraction of the appreciation we all feel for you for doing all of this . You rock Dave Sparks. All of you are a special breed.🤓👍
Y’all do an awesome job of putting these videos together all the way around, from chattin with the drivers and loadin us up with the pertinent info and an even better job of the cars doin their thing........Thanks guys! Y’all are the chit! 🙏🏻✌️
Yep. Not long ago a 10 second street car was a big deal. Even then it was usually mostly a “street legal” race car. Now there’s sub 10 second cars that are full interiors and full street cars. And 10.50 is basically the slow class.

For real, these cars have become so damn fast. My brother had a fox body Mustang back in the early 2000's that ran mid 12s and at the time would blow the doors off most anything on the street. These days that's nothing.
Big love to Tom for taking on such a huge task.. With a the fastest car.. He knows how these events are.. And how to make them better.. Congratulations Tom. Amazing job!
Wow. If you told me when I was a kid, one day coasting to a 7.42 after letting off at half track would be common and reasonably easily (by the pros) I would never have believed it. The car culture is amazing and spooly boys have come a long way
I love to see Cleetus McFarland in the background at 27:18 the fact he started his career from writhing with 1320video. I could binge watch border cash days 24/7

Look at that big grin on Tom Bailey's face. When we go back to all the interviews Tom gave ANYONE in the HRMDW races in the previous years, it was a rare thing to see him smile,, no longer. He smiles alot now days and that way cool :)
I'll always have a love for the street racing videos but I just can not get enough of the drag videos guys. I can't wait until the season really kicks off man.

Well stated, Drag Week isn't that much fun, versus the worry and the work.
The "wood" paneling on that roadmaster's engine bits is so hilarious. Love to see a serious car that doesn't take itself too seriously.
That paneling is painted on. Its not vinyl. Morris has had that car for a long time. But this will be the fastest its ever gone.

Great content for sure.
