The final day of Sick Week has finally arrived! About a quarter of all the vehicles that entered have dropped out! This is a very taxing event on the vehicles and the drivers. We find out some crazy stories today and find out who made it and who did not. Just surviving is truly an accomplishment. Some racers achieved more than just surviving by winning (or coming close to winning) their class! Of course there's always top dog and this year it's theboys from Sweden in their insane S10!

Those two guys with the blazer hugged and you tell it meant so much them, even if they couldn't find the words. Congratulations to all who finished!
Yea and left Fred hanging 😂
Well done guys
😅
A prime example of when you tell your wife you're hanging with the boys
@@Vicstheone Fred can only blame himself for asking closed questions where the only answer is yes or no xDDD that was funny ngl :)
Fred is just the best. Anyone who had issues and seemed bummed with there average was instantly cheered up when he kept pointing out how hard it is to actually finish
Blane is no doubt a staple to drag and drive events!!! Can’t wait to see him doing his own team in the future.
With a good paying job and he will be well on his way.
That was real
@@darrinsteven7002 Darin Steven, Why would You condemn Blayne to a "JOB" ??!! Are You aware what his father Tom Stark does, what business he has and what racing accomplishments Blayne already has accomplished within Junior Dragster, his current 1956 Chevy project, his direct involvement with his father's 1957 Wagon, his sister Michela's Mustang and her accomplishments ??!!
Perhaps if You will view Blayne's channel, Blaynes Therapy [the name of his dragster] You will get a more expanded view of Blayne along with each years involvement with his father, parents, sister in each Drag&Drive event [within each 1320video, RMRW, Sick Week, Hot Rod Drag Week, etc.] and some interview videos with Tom, Blayne by their friend Mike Narx on his channel Narxoleptic Customs.
Good Luck., All The Best, Sincerely
Those Swedes were impressive. I can't wait to see what they bring next year. That S10 was rock solid all week.
As a Swede, we have some pretty mental cars over here. I guess it comes with the territory of us having one of the largest street races since the mid 80's, lots of people with a lot of knowledge.
@@Arcticun I love watching the Valhalla Cup the swedes are holding
It will be impressive to see what Michael Westberg has in process for, with his next tube chassis, BBE, "Big Tire" Drag&Drive, fast vehicle !!
They actually build these in the USA. As Michael stated the engine was changed from the one he had during Hot Rod Drag Week, with a new engine from a builder in CA. Also Stefan [C4], and the Volvo Wagon build their vehicles in the USA, in and around MI. The other Opel, which started the event, but failed on Day 1, also looks impressive and hopefully will return again - build in the USA too.
Perhaps You can tell that Michael Westberg is an engineer too.
Sincerely
Really happy for Alex and her Dad. Every drag and drive event I’ve seen them in, they’ve always had issues - so I’m just so happy for them to finish and with such a great overall result.
Too bad they missed that final 6 on the last day though :/
Better luck next time, deffo got the car dialed in now!
I agree, went on raceweek 1.0 last year and it was trans after trans problems almost every day
Thanks 1320 for the great coverage of Sick Week!🤘
Nobody gonna acknowledge Tony Angelo? It's Tony freaking Angelo!
" and u were in the car the whole time? No I was ejected on roll 2 " I know it's sad but why I laughed so hard lmfao
Just Jeep Things
I broke my back and it’s definitely not a fun thing to deal with. Crew chief kid is awesome. I’m almost twice his age and I wanna be him when I grow up
Thank you 1320 for everything you do for the sport of drag racing. Great coverage.
I 100% back that up !!! Regards from Australia !!!!
Haha good old Blaine dropping the ‘dude’ every few lines is great. So cool to see him grow up through drag and drive through the years.
Even though i'm still waiting for anybody other than Tom Bailey to do 5's in any Drag Week or Sick Week, this keeped me hook for so many posibilities let alone upsets or interesting moments. No wonder this is so exciting. RIP Cleetus & Tom Bailey for the 2nd time in a row
Cleet really needs to sit back and get prepared, not just rush everything for views like normal.
RIP? No-one died, just a couple of hurt cars.
@@MajinTT
To be fair, that probably wouldn't have made much difference - they had time to change the oil on McFlurry, and running 10 over the engine builders suggestion... well, talk about rolling the dice 🤦♂
@@gordowg1wg145 agree. It’s not the rushing of the builds but pushing them over their limits by a lot
@@MajinTT Cleetus has been pushing that engine in Mullet far past what it was designed to do. He will be putting an SMX engine in it next, so it will be pretty much bulletproof from now on.
Sick week and Rocky mtn race week is probably some of the best content out. Seeing six second cars drive from one race to next the next, really shows these guys and gals dedication
Richard and his GTO are freaking legends in my book.
Absolutely, and his engine builder as well. To build an engine that can do 8.70's and drive 3,000 miles to Sick Week and 3,000 miles back to Canada after is a damn miracle ,and Richard does it to more than one Event every year. Just unheard of.
@@mikebryant614 I live in the next province over than him, and couldn’t imagine even taking my daily driver on that trip.
Not to mention the 800+ miles on the drive between tracks. Let’s hope he makes it home safe.
Extremely impressive no doubt!!
Also given the fact he does the three pedal shuffle every pass
@@aaronpreston47 I live in the same city as him, it's definitely a car enthusiast city and Richard is the most dedicated guy here.
25:17 - That reaction by Bigun’s co driver 100% sums up what Drag and Drive is all about.

Top Job Jim Bob…!!
Thank you for all the hard work this week on the content boys! I looked forward to every video and watched them all! Can’t wait to see everyone at RMRW 1.0!
Simply put, you guys are by far the best. Thanks for the content it is the best on the internet.
Best drag racing coverage on the planet. Thanks 1320!
The Swede vette got some serious air when it was hopping.
Thanks 1320 for covering Sick Week, also a big thanks for covering our Canadian friends who made the trip down.
Enjoyed everyday coverage of this event. Thank you guys.
Glad you guys made it to sick week best content hands down
Big thank you to the organisers, competitors and especially the 1320 people for putting this outstanding event together. The interviews, car profiling and the ‘on the road’ antics were really entertaining! Glad to see the green Mustang get first in his class👍! Thanks again one and all.
I was rooting for the sweds all week!! Just unbelievable vehicles.. I really wanted the C4 to win, but that s-10 was movin!! I had not a thought in mind those two would be running that fast, especially that C4 is looks sketchy ass hell to drive already not a commonly used chassis and especially setup to be a “street car”
Unbelievable congratulations to everyone who participated sick week, and most importantly Congratulations to the sweds 🇸🇪 for taking #1 and #2! 👍🏽🇺🇸
And that Coyote for taking 3rd overall and 1st for the Americans!!
It's so nice to see pretty much everyone launching pretty fast on green. Apposed to alot of drag and drives where people sit for like 15 seconds after green then take off. They should make it a rule you have to take off within a real short period once green drops, like a real race.
I think it's an official rule for Sick Week. I have a vague memory from last year they had to leave within 2 seconds from green light.
@Николай Дичев I think your right about it for sick week. I just remember on like rocky mountain race week and some others, alot of people would have like 10+ second reactions and I thought that shi was stupid.
Seen the Barra boys and the Cresta was smooth and aggressive but that mustang was just rowdy. Ben and Ben are both stand up guys.
29:30 I stood up out of my seat to salute this man for still being alive, alone with being as healthy as he is to make it this far. Hell yeah and stay safe, brother. We still need people like you around!
Fred and crew are awesome! Thanks Kyle and 1320 Video for sending Fred and crew to cover this awesome event! A+ as always! Chuck in NE Kansas
Thank you for the coverage of Sick Week. I've enjoyed the videos all week. Congrats to all who finished.
Seeing Tony Angelo, the dude with the orange blown Camaro is so sick. He’s a former Formula Drift pro driver and has done some TV stuff too. Really cool dude to meet too
I love Tony Angelo’s car. The paint on that thing is wild!
Thanks you 1320, for filming something I may never see in person or attend, too many irons in other fires to achieve this event!!! Watched every minute daily!
Love to see Blane still getting to the track from other drivers. That kid will go far
What an OUTSTANDING series this has been.
Graduations to all the winners and those who manage to finish.
1320…..you KILLED it! 👊🏻👌🏻
Thanks 1320 Crew for the great coverage of this event. Always bitter sweet when the event comes to a close
OMG FRED , the coverage all week was epic . the man with the cam . every cool moment . thanks dude from New Zealand ! Those SWEED'S though . that S 10 though . wow .show stopper .
I just want to thank 1320 for providing the most entertaining coverage of sick week possible. Keeping up with all the drivers between passes was top notch and we even got trailer burnouts! Heck yeah. Can't wait for the next one. Thank you for your hard work!
13:23 - Got a genuine laugh from me at the canned intro of the PT Cruiser! 😆
What an amazing event and thanks for the coverage like always 1320. The dedication these guys have is next level. The crew in the Blazer literally had to swap motors in the middle of a drag and drive and still finished that’s damn cool. Hats off to them that’s not an easy week, I’m sure very rewarding though.
sometimes you can be proud to be Swedish! so damn well fought🤩
Hell yeah brother! Amazing cars and reliability to match. When he said the long drive was "boring" then you know he isn't worried 😄
Always be proud of who you are.
Maybe we need a Finnish Team in there as well to stir things up. A properly built 3000RP (Reindeer Power) engine.
Stoked to see what they can do on street week here in sweden this year
So happy for Dennis and Alex. This has to be the best D&D for them.
Thanks so very much for all the coverage at these events as usual!! Always top notch but the lack of coverage over all the years of our Pittsburgh/Western Pa racers needs to be addressed!!!!🤗😉
The guy riding the scooter with the cooler as a seat, drinking a giant bottle of what looked like wine.... amazing! 🤣
Thank you guys for keeping us in the loop with all of these Great videos! You guys are awesome and it was so much fun watching everyone do their thing. Keep up the good work 1320 crew! 💪
The Canadian Chuck Norris and his GTO is the most impressive car there. He is still running the big block that Pontiac gave him that is no cheap endeavour and he blew it up last year and had to fix it on the way home. It’s amazing what Holly can do for an old engine
Damn them Swedes are crazy! I love the way that generation of S-10 looks as a drag truck.
The best coverage of sick week! The amount of editing it must take to pump out hour long videos back to back is crazy
Tony Angelo from Motor Trend? Roadkill was cool as. Great to see some seriously wicked fast cars out there. And the dedication of there owners to keep going. Cheers
And Fred was clueless who he even was. He's been around for decades in media.
He's got a show on the Hagerty youtube channel now.
If you record Jesse in that diesel pick up you have to get on the opposite side of the exhaust lol.
Awesome day to day coverage for sickweek you guys killed it
Thank you 1320video for all the coverage...
The s10’s wheels on the wheelie bar did a burnout 😳 on that last pass😂🤘🏻🤘🏻
Man I'm sad sick week is over. You guys absolutely killed the content! I really loved it. Thanks for doing this every year guys.
Each and every entry are all good people. Not just the ones that did well in their class and finished, but each that pulled on the track on day #1.
1320 killing it as usual. Nice work fellas thanks for bringing it to us
Man you did such an awsome coverage of sick week! Good job guy's!👌👍
This has been some amazing footage all week. I was hoping McFarland racing comes out on top, but there's a hell of a lot of good competition. I guess it's hard to win when all of your equipment keeps breaking. Pushing it to the limits.👍
I blame Sam. He’s old and slow and holding them back.
@@JSparrowist dude really?
@@JSparrowist He,s fast for a 77 year old guy!
@@JSparrowist 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@1320video I think you should do a special next time on the cars that didn't make it. Stretch it out a month or so and show some of the pitfalls the drivers face. I was looking for a few and now I'm curious as to why they didn't make it. There's gotta be some decent stories.
Great job on the filming crew at 1320 video really great time watching y'all's videos keep up the good work
Great coverage all week guys. Missed Kyle in the videos
Blaine is awesome 👌
Also congrats to the swede crew for the overall event win
The swedes are the MVP. They haul ass as a whole group I love it
You guys did a great job covering drivers drags problems drama and last minute runs
Thanks for the coverage. I enjoyed every video. Congrats to the Swedes that S-10 is sick.
Great set of videos. Neat stuff. Enjoyed watching ✌️ 😎
thank you for all the content. love the way you all express your feeling about cars.
Buddy smashing back the bottle next to the tree is the best 😂 my spirit animal
Great job on the coverage of sick week 1320
Thank you guys again for bringing sick week right to our hands.
The 1320's champion is that lifted crown vic
Think Outta All The People Racing In Sick Week, Jesse Has Had Some Crazy Ass Adventures With His Beautiful Chevy Truck..
Definitely Stoked To See Him Back With His Truck And Rippin Down The Strip..
It’s so awesome that we’re able to have events like this that people are crossing borders and oceans to be part of it.
That black s10 is extremely dialed in those trucks can really be modified on no wonder it sold
Never dissapoints with the content 🔥🔥
Thank you 1320 for great coverage 👑
Well see you guys next year with our Ecoboost swapped foxbody, we built a 2020 GT40 engine but still working out tuning, most it’s made so far is 679 to the wheels! we’ll be the fastest V6 Ecoboost in the world. 😈
Man i gotta admit, that c4 vette is an absolute monster.
Alex Taylor, and her quest...for the sixes! Lots of corn
Cheers for the coverage, made cardio for the week a blast
The "Snot Rocket 2.0" is the most impressive car of them all!!!
If you stand in the left lane and record, you can see the orange truck but yet again you stand behind it and record diesel exhaust… lol. One day you might get it right there bud
Awesomeness
great binge watch for me over the last 2 1/2 days while being on the road
Tom might just have to rename this "Swede Week " if this keeps up ,and I mean that in a good way , not bad. Congrats to the Swedes for two consecutive Sick Week wins , they are great , friendly people and what they bring you can count on to be F-A-S-T.
That DSM is a freaking bracket car!! 😎
The guy in the jeep that rolled is a perfect example of American ingenuity. Mad props
Yall kick ass thanks for not keeping my ass
Love the fact Tony Angelo and Alex Taylor got to race. Almost like passing the torch.
So happy to see the eclipse, my dad had two of them when I was growing up, definitely a really cool and fun car
That convertible fox body is stupid clean 👌🔥 I love tony angelos car 😂
I always root for Alex and her bel air, Tom and the Whynot, and anything that the Cleetus crew runs, but man I feel sorry for the Aussies that came all that way and weren’t allowed to run their best. Crazy week, every one of these drag and drives are completely different from the last.
Thank you 1320, please cover RMRW 23 in June.
Imagine selling a racecar but still puttin down a Overall win in competition while it's still in your hands. Congrats Michael Westberg
I’m surprised Canada hasn’t banned race cars.
Soon!!
Surprised the US hasn't yet either. Bidum's version of Amerika
My car should be done for ‘24 race week. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼All because of 1320 video.
That wrangler is impressive especially since, aside from the turbo, the only racing mods are the tires. My TJ only has a 4.5" lift and its a handful to drive at 70 on the highway
"Yeah I told them to turn it up." My boyyy
19:58 Absolutely love Tina Pearces car!
Just excellent! Thanks!!
I have to say, I'm fairly shocked that you guys didn't recognize Tony Angelo from HOT ROD GARAGE!!! You know, the show on Motortrend TV!!??
