@@ryanrenolds The cars we use with gasoline engines are about 5%-10% of the damage done to our planet. Factories in China (and globally), cargo ships all over the world, Trucks and planes are doing about 85% of the damage.
But the fact that car manufacturers are given the blame are not surprising as we are easier to 'convert' than large corporates.

4:10 god 5 cylinder engines are underrated. that 2.5 volvo engine was VAG's 90's lovechild and sounds absolutely godly as both a diesel and a petrol in the VWs and Audis too.
Everytime I hear a 5 cylinder engine, I think Audi Quattro S1. And thats certainly not bad.

The first gen RX-7 is severely underrated. Sure they don't come turboed but it's a great introduction to rotary cars since it's easy to work on
Anyway, all of them is expensive as fuck now
Especially here in Europe, any fun car that was cheap once has skyrocketed in price over the last few years
They aren't good. The tech is so old, they drive like shit. Live axle and steering box rather than a rack and pinion and IRS. All of them came with 12A's which are very hard to get parts for these days (even in NZ which has a massive rota scene). They are cool cars to cruise around in with a massive J port don't get me wrong but that's about it.
And work on them you shall !

in my family we drive subarus (forester bc dog and family) and wrx for fun. my grandpa used to drive a 20+ years old outback with about 220'000 km and it kept going

The Demon 170 did a 4-60 in 1.66s. They never mentioned that they calculate with roll-out
roll-out is absolute bullshit and shouldn't be a thing, ever
roll-out is pretty standard these days. Car and Driver does it on all their 0-60 for better consistency
@Andrew Gessel even if that's true, the Demon is still on illegal drag slicks and on a sticky drag prepped track. Realistically, it will never get under the 2 seconds that Dodge claims. Dodge's always performs terrible on the normal road, and that's where it'll be for 99.99% of the time

Except... The car *is* stock, a stock Hyundai SRT with OEM from the manufacturer, and they can't change anything cuz it's already stock so he can't drive at all... Wonder how that turned out
