It was after a solid year of work including doing all the electrical. Up until that moment you don't know for sure if it will start or not.
@@miatajackdiy4293 Yea, I know that feeling. In highschool we did an LS swap into a Mercedes-Benz 230 and had the exact same thing. Electrical is always the hardest to sort out, at least in my experience

Two stroke V8 was the video that brought me to the channel. Since then, every damn car dose has made it into my liked videos folder. These videos never miss
HAH! This reminds me of my old Van- you could apply Windshield Wiper Fluid to the back Window. I broke it on purpose so that every time I used it then it'd shoot a Rooster Tail 20-30 Feet behind me- it almost always missed the Car directly behind me and hit the next car back. It made a lot of people laugh and was great... I hated driving it when I first got it, but by the end I loved that thing. I also had people convinced that I had hydrolics installed because using the gas and breaks just right you could bounce the front end 2 Feet off the ground- we'd roll through Movie theater drop offs on Friday/Saturdays and blast ridiculous music while I bounced along through the parking lot- I had an authentic sombrero that I always wore when getting crazy in that thing. We had all the back seats removed and used folding chairs instead. I was an ass a few times and break/gassed people all over the back... most of my friends loved when I'd throw them all over the back. I really miss that old Windstar! I was 16 and that was 22 Years- it was extremely stupid/dangerous- a few people ended up with bloody noses and bruises but it was soooo much fun at the time!
God, that's a whole paragraph and I could go on out the ridiculousness we got up to in that thing but I'd be here all night typing! And yes, I jumped the thing many times until I ended up balanced on two wheels once but saved it- I stopped jumping it after that, it bounced a lot when doing that.
I operate forklifts as a job and damn that was close. Last month someone in our company had a familiar accident and wasn't as lucky as this guy...

This thing is supposed to discharge any static electricity stored in the car's frame or electronics to the ground. It's not always a plate, sometimes a metal heart or a chain. In this example, it's a hanging plate
Safe to say its completely useless 99.9% of the times...

1:09 As the very proud owner of one of those Boat Tail Rivieras (which is not just my favorite car of all time but my ultimate dream car) my day has been absolutely made by seeing them get any kinda recognition. And as a fun fact, the boat tails were originally gonna be on the GM A platform (think chevelle, GTO, Skylark) but GM penny pinches had it moved to the E body platform so it could use the same front fenders/hood of the same year Buick LeSabre which is why the really cool concepts are so different from the 3 year long production models

Pretty sure the plate is to just show the car is low. Its meant to scrape to show off or something like that
The plate is a car club plaque, has the club name/logo on it. Some hang from the bumper for draggin' but most people run them in the rear window.
@@FreakyMalo As a member of a California car club focusing on pre-1965 cars, I have to vouch for your correct answer. Hanging car club plaque from a rear bumper on a "tail dragger" is cool!!! LOL

The plate hanging from the back is a car club emblem. Lowrider car clubs will hang them like that so they drag the ground when the air suspension is all the way down.

5:20 haha. I had a tailgater come up behind me yesterday. I've done more than a few track days and I've been a fan of racing for about 45 years. So I put my foot down and genius behind me decides to try to keep up. Two corners later I watched him understeer his way towards a dirt embankment, panic, over correct, spin out and slide off the road and down a massive grass hill. I stopped, turned around and went back and watched for about 2 minutes while they tried to drive back up the steep, slick, wet grass bank. I assume they called a tow truck or a friend with a 4x4 and a winch, because that's the only way they were getting out. Gave them a wave and went on my way.

1:25 -- Car clubs back in the early days used to give their members plates to display on the back of their cars.. Don't believe I've seen one on a chain like that before though.

Those turbocharged jet-skis are modified, but both Sea-Doo and Kawasaki offer factory-supercharged jet-skis for any speed freaks who don't want to modify their rides. I personally just ride a 1994 Yamaha VXR Pro. She's only got a 701cc carbureted 2-stroke inline-2 pushin' around 60 hp, but she'll still do around 40 mph if you push her, and she's super tossable.
