5:00 Santa Fe 3751 is a class 3751 4-8-4 northern(4 leaders, 8 drivers, 4 trailers) built by the Baldwin locomotive works in May of 1927, she was rebuilt in 1941, retired from mainline service in 1953, saved from scrap in 1958 and restored to working order in 1991. Her drivers are 80 inch in diameter, her tractive effort is 65981 lbf, she has 3220 horsepower, her boiler pressure is 230 psi, and she can go 100 miles per hour. she is operational as of right now and she is owned by the San Bernardino railroad historical society. she has 8 surviving sister engines, 6 for the class 2900 which is a derivative of the class 3751 built in 1943-1944. 7 of her siblings are on static display, while engine no. 2926 is operational. In the clip, in order to provide electrical power for the passenger cars, and dynamic braking, she was being assisted by a Metrolink mp36ph-3c, diesel electric locomotive
Dude you know a lot about this stuff
It’s also the Polar Express
@@stopredless8447o it’s not it’s the Pere Marquette 1225 is a Berkshire 2-8-4 N-1 class steam locomotive.
Edit: they do look similar tho
Thanks for this info, this is very interesting.
nah, Polish locomotives are better
Thank you for believing in me that I don't have schizophrenia, my pet rock is always telling me otherwise
your rock is wrong. mine keeps saying that you don't
If anyone is wondering why the train 5:18 is not releasing smoke out of the smoke stack, it’s because the train was converted to using oil instead of coal (to my knowledge)
If the engineers are good at their job, they're pulling enough air through to burn coal fully and not produce smoke. A lot of photos they'll deliberately choke the firebox since they get the "train doesn't look like it's doing anything" complaint.
they actually dont produce that much steam when going fast enough
Although true I do think 3751 was converted to oil (correct me if I’m wrong)
@@fawnathefox9600 converted to oil in 1936.
if you mean that white smoke its steam coming out of the whistle
4:46 the music transition sounds like a freaking tutorial on how to drift a mid engine car.
yep 😂😂😂
0:46 Notice how he's doing that, all while being inside the dry line on track! 😳😳😳
3:12
That Civic driver took Richarad Hammonds quote: "I crashed after the finish line. Like a professional."
Sorry for my misspellings.
1:53 Hey it's the Super Offroad from Hill Climb Racing!!!
I have both HCR 1 and 2. But it does look like that, doesn't it?
That's what I was thinking!
I absolutely adore that video of the locomotive, looking back especially to see three generations of transportation, the living relic still heartily chuffing along as if it were still its second day on the job, the restored classic lovingly kept in pristine condition, and the modern passenger vehicle filming the whole scene as all three speed down the freeway. So awesome.
That Subaru impreza is using more oil then a Bugatti veyron using fuel at max speed
7:38
I'm sure everyone has a truck and stone in their house 😂0:20
Get that gearbox an ASMR channel. Would totally watch.
You should get something like a coolerworx shifter if they made one for your car, they sound so extremely satisfying, like the one in this video but more mechanical, and they also feel amazing to shift, one of the best upgrades I ever did
@@MrTurbo_What do you mean by more mechanical? The one in the vid goes straight to the gearbox.
@@mrjed6912 the sound in this video is more of a click, the sound of the coolerworx shifter I got is more metallic sounding, kinda hard to describe
@@MrTurbo_ it certainly doesn't have too much of an echoy clunk but it's still a great shift.
@@mrjed6912 certainly, never denied that, all I'm doing here is suggesting people who want a similarly satisfying sounding shifter in their own car the coolerworx shifter I got or something similar, based on my expirience, but it seems it's not really appreciated so whatever
5:46 its so impressive how that guy managed to row the mazda quicker than the subaru
1:10 pov: you won the podium car in the gta casino
3:05 Wow. Dude, your Polish is amazing!
Yeah it’s almost like he lives there
7:54 Wow that was a great acceleration from the cobra, It sounds sick too
5:43 Human boost

1:20 man was so loud,he broke the sound barrier 💀💀💀☠️☠️
The train clip was sick
Carmighys outro will never get old and will remain one of the best outros ever (in my opinion)
that power slide is DOPE
Yes the P H A T powerslide tied it all up
funni miat drift with good music
as a large rail-fan you did pronounce santa-fe right lol. glad you enjoyed the rods moving, something not alot of people that arent really into trains particularly notice (might just be the fact theres so much moving they dont know how to comprehend it lmao)

Either your editor got a lot better, either you got a new one but boy was this a joy!
The electric go-kart is the biggest deathtrap I have ever seen
Always look forward to your uploads! Thanks for your hard work on these, they really brighten my day.
The steam engine is atsf 3751 and the rail line is a commuter line in California that runs in-between the highway
3:54 That car is ascending to heaven.
0:36 do not try this at home - carmighty
me - HOW TF COULD I DO THIS SH*T at HOME!!???
3:00 POV: Your 60 year old shitbox wont start unless you get out and push it
AFAIK the US Army is testing an unmanned version of the Ripsaw atm. I forget what they were calling it, it is basically a Ripsaw that IS (note: as in no consideration for people inside it) remotely operated, with a machinegun or small autocannon on top. Same type of mount you see for those remotely operated guns on AFVs and tanks and whatnot. With some light armor (looks like it might stop a 5.56 or something).
Seems like it would make a nice addition to the tools available for recon or for say, another tool for convoy escort or something like that.
5:12 before any of you start complaining about the diesel engine behind it, it’s only there for the electronic systems and to give the engine a slight push. Even though 3751 could easily pull that train the diesel engine is there to give it a push so that it doesn’t use up as much fuel. Railroads today are simply not built for steam and need meticulous planning in order to supply it with fuel.
I like your pfp
@@Pyroscity thank you, my Roblox and Minecraft avatar is themed after it
Threshold braking is worthwhile practicing as lesson in what happens with reduced turning traction.
Even if operating abs equipped automobiles.

Amazing Video like always
Hey Mighty the ripsaw tank was used by the leaders of the bullet farmin mad max and if you watch any explanations of the film process for the movie you will find that this thing was an absolute nightmare
I REMEMBER SEEING THAT VIDEO OF THE MIATA SO MANY YEARS AGO its also one of the ones that got me into liking cars so much :)))
as an eastern european and former soviet kid I absolutely love and understand your sense of humor.
great videos and a lot of love for the fuel machines🤜🤛
hopefully, one day I can send you a video about my dream project
First the taxi 3 soundtrack, now "Out of control", Mighty keeps kicking me right in my nostalgia.
Whats next? Authority Zero?
I love your outro music for many reasons. It sounds awesome, it has a line from the movie Anchorman, but mainly, because it challenges the validity of your last sentence in each video lol 9:08.
0:25 bro's doin push ups lmao💀
he meant something else i think...
@@sdht6107 i know but it looks like it

Damn, feels illegal to be this early... These vids provide me serotonin
I love how you have "Don't try this at home!"
How the F would I get that truck and trailer into my home!?

carmighty fans when he uses the "your mother" joke for the 32892319813298149367043663670426709th time:
Yoooo heep it up man 👍
Always steer towards the direction the car is sliding to increase friction.
Turning where "you want" to go will result in the wheels loosing grip
Actually, for MM:FR they left in the Peacemaker as the lead for the Bullet Farmers convoy, it's also the car hunting down the rig at night when the guy goes blind
Paddle is ordered!!! I need that in my slow ass Golf 3 Cabrio :D
My bro mighty you will get to the 1m soon good luck
8:00 I think it is a factory 5 Shelby cobra replica
they put strong LS's
That civic driver was just trying to be like Hammond!
Literally though the same 😅
1:13 nah this is some average Red Bull shit they do when they’re bored
0:46 kart driver here, although this looks fun to do, this isn’t the best method to warm your tires. if you don’t know what you’re doing, (this guy clearly does, good on him,) you can, and probably will, spin out, not to mention ruin your tires. it’s better to just do s-curves! (in my opinion, i’ve only driven for a couple of seasons.)
my mentor/coach would do this because he thought it made him look aggressive lmao
Nah man you got the name right nice also amazing vid of the 3751 beautiful locomotive
The car floating at 3:44 😂
2:14 the Russian blogger AKADEMEG made two such projects on Bentley and Porsche

Im not going insane right? I swear i took the pills
my 93 300zx and also my gfs 98 slk230 kompressor have that style of spare. ive usually heard it called an accordion spare
You nailed Santa Fe. I'm a train enthusiast myself, and I know a thing or two about trains.
6:03 "How much horsepower do you have in that GoCart?"
"YES"
"Flirting with the wall, oh it's tight man" I felt that 😩
That space saver spare tire is old news on Porsches, the fun part is after using it trying to put it back in it's compartment.

Toyota: '' Thanks for covering the view.''
Train: ''What do you mean? I am the view.''
4:45 excellent music choice from the editor 👌
in the beginning of the video it’s called “doodlebugs” and they try and pull the most weight. i was there that day too💀. i do it with them, The New England doodlebug association. it’s fun that’s for sure. if anyone has questions just ask.
looks like a stripped GMC C70 from the 80’s rather than a pure doodlebug tractor
It's cool that my country is featured in this place, karting without engines is cool indeed
I like trains so seeing one in this episode is very epic
1:25 that mazda is like: LET ME OUT!!!
