What you're not understanding about the VR is that the pancake lens in the optics (in Apple and Meta products) has a very low light efficiency so what arrives to the eye will be drastically lower, but with 10,000 that should at least be enough for lower end HDR, except that in contrast to Sony and Apple VR companies like Meta have a shorter duty cycle (how long pixels are on) to counteract the problem with motion blur due to persistence (similar to black frame insertion), further reducing brightness.
Please do a full review of Sonos headset.
Check out Peter Pee for your Sonos information!
I love this new show. I hope it's here to stay.
I hope in the near future we will have affordable and comfortable VR glasses and movies supporting them so that you will feel like you are "there"
Some great nerdy news!! Definitely going in the “bright” direction! Love it!!!🥰😄
Nothing is good when it's served excessively. ok? There's to be an optimal limit in everything, beyond which things will start losing their merit.
Loving NNN. Thanks Caleb!
The problem with brightness in VR displays is that pancake lenses and other optical techniques reduce brightness down to just a few percent. So a very high starting brightness is needed.
thanks for the quick and dirty. I really like the format
Woohoo, I wish this were its own channel... I'd subscribe to notifications in a blink!
PiP for Google TV has been something ive wanted for a while, nice to finally get it.
you had me at 10,000 nits 😎
Absolutely!
Me too lol
Gonna need 2 bottles of Lyclear 😂
@@anonunknown7999
lol … extra strength !
@@twosawyersYou won't actually SEE 10,000 nits in a headset.
This guy is relentless, he just went on vacation and see how he's 'spending' his holidays?
sonos headphones are pretty much airpod max copies, no lossless unless connected to the ARC soundbar and no wi fi - you cant add them in the app as another zone. just bluetooth headphones. Also, only (1) Ace can be connected to ARC
You had a missed opportunity there Caleb by not mentioning which Bluetooth version will Sonos run on. I mean how do you not say the literally most important part? 🤦🏻♂️
You don't know how VR works, when it goes from all of these optics etc it will be at most 500 nits
Where are the reviews for the Sony Theater U ? Came out last week, and I can't find anyone talking about it.
10,000 nits in the aiiiirrrrrrrrr! 🤭🤘
Hey Caleb I was wondering on the LG G3 adjust logo brightness does turning it on affect the overall picture quality and does it affect just the logos and huds or the overall picture itself? If so is safe to just leave this setting off all together?
Sir kindly do a comparison of Bravia 7 and qn90d.
can someone explain how OLED on silicon can achieve 10K nits but the process for creating OLED for TVs cant acheive anywhere near that
Its really how audio is processed, like there was a hack for the sony 37, my walkman, it made the chamber walls melt into the echo. It was cold cold bloody night. Because THX tries to hard to sharpen the acoustics, so it just rounds off razor thx into a dts home theatre sound pattern where dolby is like a noise floor for sqeaky pete and tina gulchatscoop.
Quick question! Should I buy Bravia A95L that carries over this year or the now Bravia 8? Which is better OLED?
QD-OLED is literally better than W-OLED.
Sony A95L is the way to go if you have the money for it and you're a Videophile.
Vr headsets remind me of when they told us not to sit to close to the TV. But strapping a bright screen right to our face is OK lol
VERY different technology dude....
The lenses in a VR headset magnify the focal length between your eyes and the screens. It doesn't even look like giant screens, it looks like infinite distance. If you're near sighted, far away objects look blurry like they would in real life.
If the nits keep getting higher, I will definitely invest money in macular degeneration supplements in the future lmao
Just like there’s infinite contrasts, there will be infinite not one day. 😅😅😅
Resolution is more important issue for VR
But this is not for audiophiles people who like detail music sound
True .. not for bores . ....
2:10 …. Hmmm. Your performance has been noted.🐳
ANNNNNNNNND cable has a monopoly again.
WHERE THE HELL IS THE FCC?!?!?!?!?!
Sonos wifi enabled speakers are already trash connection wise 😂
If OLED hits 10,000 nit. Sony will revert back to it being the flagship.
OLED didn't stop being the flagship for Sony.
A95L launched late last year hence why we don't have a new 2024 QD-OLED flagship TV.
@@PSYCHOV3N0M The Bravia 9 is the new 2024 flagship by Sony and yes it’s mini-led backlight based.
Streaming bundle is lower tier ad supported from Netflix and Peacock making it useless
Sonos app is terrible!
I don't understand the hate for me it's so much easier to do what i used to with the new version of the app
@@jadenbishop2297 I feel like they took a major step back, it’s so clunky. It has me worried about the company and where they’re headed. They tried to fix something that wasn’t broken and now it’s broken, imo.
Sonos screwed all its product owners over a while back. As a result I’ll never buy Sonos.
