I've broken multiple swords throughout my gameplay, and I can guarantee that it's NOT by chance. There's a 16 (might be shorter but that's the shortest I've gotten) in game hour (the hours seen on the main menu) cooldown before you can get your sword broken again. Once the sword broken timer is not on cooldown, switch to gravewalker difficultly and get killed by any olog. I GUARANTEE that your sword will get broken on your first try.

@@tupapi42634sometimes dying can be good when farming gear.. you take a random ork and let it kill you and see what traits and stuff he gets and when he becomes legendary or epic you kill him for a gear drop.. if you know which ones to look for it can be very efficient
Death threats are good for getting epic gear too.
Something else that works okay : you can send two of your epic or legendary followers into the fight pit against each other, so you're pretty well guaranteed a epic or legendary drop. Plus the one that gets killed may cheat death to come back, most likely to try and kill you, giving you another chance for great equipment.
You're wrong, you can farm for particular epics. It all depends on how you kill the orc captain and also what attributes the epic Captain has.
For instance if anybody's looking for the best weapon in the game the epic sword wraithgiver that basically gives you infinite amount of wraith, you need to kill an orc that has no elements attached to them and you have to ground execute them.

I have been looking for videos to better understand the mechanics and rng in this game. And my far the explanation is excellent.
Only started playing this game about a week ago and really wasn't expecting much or thought I'd put much time into it but I have to admit I'm really enjoying it I like the fact that there's really no short cuts to levelling and gaining better gear is a steady pace, like many others I didn't get my Ps5 before the scalpers did and I'm resigned to the fact that it'll be the new year before all my free time will be taken up wandering around Night City until then I'm more than happy to slay orcs in Mordor.

Worst mistake of my life
Bought this game for pc today after beating it on Xbox like three years ago. Was watching the Hobbit movies and it got me in the mood to go slay some orcs. Glad I came across this cause it’s been a while since I’ve last played.

I watched a video a few days ago about the warthgiver sword and being like super rare or something. I checked my inventory because I rarely scrap items and of course I have the wrathgiver just chilling at level 14 right there.

Destroy followers also works for killing allied captains when you hold it for twice the length, useful if you want the gear from an overpowered orc you made, if you dont put him in the garrison
Very helpful and informative. Totally random question. I know there are 10 different possible colors for all epic armors sets (rohirrim, gondorian etc.) Is the color change on epic armors due to leveling completely random? Can a brown colored rohirrim armor change into any of the possible 10 colors when it levels up? Is there a way to generate a color that you really want? For instance, can you save the game right before the armor levels up and changes color and reload that save if your armor changes into a color you dont want. Thanks

Can you upgrade all armors to lvl 80 or do.you need to wait until that level for bright lord and necromancer sets?
I have a question, if you or someone here could answer that be great. On your crafting menu says you completed 70 of 72 quests. And in your abilities you have unlocked a last one that is red. I have te complete game with all the dlcs an this doesn't show for me. Only goes up to 66 quests and there's no red perk at the end. Is it somenthing that just become avaliable after you beat the game?

Can I get a chart of all the secondary characteristics for each slot, and for each grade? by grade I mean Legendary, Epic and Rare. Because I'm working on a number of builds, and would like to know all that is possible in order to best gear up in each build.

Nice video but how do you have so much focus i can only stay mid air for 6-7 seconds while aiming because my focus drains so fast

Hey bud, I'm a day one player and thought this video was well made. I just wish you dove into some of the stats on gear.
I haven’t got the masks I’ve completed the main story and all 3 stages but still haven’t got all the masks
So if you destroy legendary gear can you get it again later and skip the grind since I did the quest and have zog’s ring
Anything you can destroy, you can re-aquire

how do i reroll?! I see no example how to reroll. There is nothing in the menu as well.
If you select the item, there is a small menu (easy to miss) that has options for destroying, upgrading, and re-rolling.
Liked the vid but ur dominated legendary you should out fight with him if he dies you get the gear and he mite get u more wen he kills orcs

The fact that you COMPLETELY missed the fact that EPICS can be farmed for specific traits is slightly disturbing. I guess I need to make a guide now, seeing as no one else seems to have done so.
Gear can be manipulated based on the type of kill (ranged/knife/sword/execution/ground finisher etc) and the type of elements and fears that captains have (mortally flammable = fire gear, no element = Might gear, Fear of Injurty = Lifesteal gear, etc)
why we cant destroy a legendary gear with an active challenge? i have so many of them.. -.- and cant destroy them

Why can't I destroy common weapons and some epic ones?..... they are just filling up my inventory coz I can't do anything with them
You should be able to destroy them. Sometimes you have to select "Modify Gear" first, and then you can destroy them.

Talion chooses his fate. Since this whole series started with him wanting to avenge his wife and son, he's really only looking for that. But along the way I think he realizes he can put his immortality to use for the good of all Middle-Earth.
I guess this is mostly up to personal interpretation, but that's how I see it. A bittersweet ending.
@@parkattack no, I mean cosmetically is there any way to make dark talion look like normal talon again ? I have heard some people say yes and some say no. So I'm not sure.
@@Mikey-ds8uy in both the inventory and character pages in the top right, there's a "change skins" button. I believe some of them have to be unlocked, and you might need the DLC to access them, but there is a skin of Talion as he appears in the beginning of the game

Why use the cloak when u don’t have waters of lorien equipped??? And why no wrathgiver as sword?? This gear wouldn’t be usable on gravewalker difficulty tbh
It's been about 2 years, but if I remember correctly, the cloak gives a flat 33% damage boost whenever you dash or something like that, basically making it BiS. And yes, Wrathgiver is a good sword, but you don't need to it 100% the game on Gravewalker without combat prompts, like I did.
