I’m not sure if it’s true but I heard that Warner Bros actually had to patent and put copyrights on the enemy evolution system in the 2 Middle-Earth games because they’re that innovative and revolutionary. Genuinely I’ve never ever seen an enemy system so in depth and I know for a fact that there’s a lot of devs out there who wish they had this for some of their single player game projects.
It's just a shame the refuse to do anything with it when a new Middle Earth game would make them *lots* of money.

You are by far my favoirte Trophy Hunting UA-camr. It is nice to have a UA-camr that isn't making games seem harder than they are. I swear most UA-camrs that do trophy hunting are screaming about every part of the game being the hardest thing they have ever accomplished in their life.

It’s so nice to see new shadow of war content in 2023, usually all the content I see of shadow of war is from old time UA-camrs that still play the game to this day, so it’s nice to see some fresh content from somebody. Also, probably a good idea to level up Talion before doing the harder pit fights, but you already completed it so it doesn’t really matter.
Same my friend. I’ll never tire of seeing a bag headed Uruk hunt a UA-camr for years. It’s actually impressive how long some uruks make it lmao
The nemesis system makes this game, the little mini sequences and stories you get are so fun. I at one point got ambushed on the way to kill someone killed the ambush and the guy I was originally going for.
I then died to a normal enemy so he got promoted and went to get revenge and the first ambush cheated death then 2 more captain's came so my revenge ended up with me killing 4 captains including one I had already killed before, then a blood brother came because he was linked to one of the captains it was insane

The Fight Pits are NOT pleasing to lose in but very satisfying to watch for me.
You made the pit fights unnecessarily painful for yourself, they are really easy when u level up to around 40 and hunt for a few good orcs who can exploit different weaknesses. Also if ur feeling real dishonorable you can cheese them by quitting into the main menu before execution, if u do that u can repeat fights endlessly with any follower till they win :D
I started playing the game again, lvl 27 at the moment. And the strategy works perfectly, even if you're a lower lvl then 40. As long as you pick a good orc with the right traits and weapons.
Also didn't know about the cheese method, lost 2 orcs so far so thank you for that 🙏
Honestly... I noticed that too. This level of rage was unnecessary for the amount of ways you can get around losing so many orcs.
The day I do anything that makes my life easier is the day I stop hunting trophies.. I enjoy the pain.
well.. I dont, but I enjoyed using low level orcs to create smart counters to beat higher level orcs, while raging inducing made things more suspenseful for me lol
I felt your pain on an emotional level with the pit fights. That stuff sucked to do
I personally never had issues, but I think that might be because I wasn't forcing it for the sake of achievements, I was doing them for fun, and it was an easy way to strengthen my army, since if my guy lost, I'd just replace them.
Yeah the pit fights can be rough especially if it's someone you like and you are confident they'll win and then they get destroyed
Honestly I just used the pits to farm for better orks. I'd send my stronger berserkers through to clear all the different levels of battle then just send in whoever I didn't care about as fodder for potential epic and legendary orks
I don’t platinum games but I absolutely played the crap out of both Mordor and War! I really loved both games a lot! Great video! I did some of those pit fights and hated them 🤣🤣

As one of the few games I've Platinum'd, I loved every second of it. The hardest achievement was definitely getting the gold rating in The Desolation of Mordor DLC, I looked up a guide, but it was still fun.
That's the only trophy I don't have for this game. I could not do that shit because my areas were CONSTANTLY getting overridden and I could NOT get all areas conquered at the same time. That and killing the commanders took forever. I could have thirty guys attacking him and it would still take twenty minutes for him to die.
Banger video! I'm about to get the platinum myself! I was going to get the plat in 2019/2020 but my power cut of and my progress was all gone. Back again and I'm extremely close!
My friend raved on about Shadow of Mordor back in the day and after he stacked it with the Remaster I finally gave it a go and it was fantastic, few rough achievements on the way to the completion though. Never played Shadow of War but I may have to give it a go after this video!

For the people which are also struggeling with the pit fight trophy. I dont know if you can still do this but Back in my day i Played it you could equip your fighter with special traits. Something like followers or beast tamers etc which are helpin in the pit fight.
Yes you still can. I never played back then but I am aware you can either earn traits or buy traits to make them stronger.
Another middle earth will be released in 2024 and I'm so ready, this game is so addictive. Massively underrated.

Congratulations on the platinum I remember platinuming this game a few years ago the pit fights when I did them were easy for me that was probably because I was at the level of the orcs in the fights I think I did that trophy last before I took on the shadow wars but you did well to get it when you were lower level than they ever. But really it is pretty much random chance of winning or losing in that mode congratulations anyway ☺️

I got this game after the microtransactions were removed and it is one of the most fun platinums to get. This and the previous game.

I remember when I platted this game, but none of the trophies were as difficult or infuriating as one of the DLC trophies "Baranor the Conqueror", where you have to speedrun the entire DLC of the game on Gravewalker difficulty to get a Gold rating... with Permadeath enabled, so if you die, you have to complete the entire thing again. Worst part is that PSN Profiles doesn't even have a guide on this DLC.
damn that sounds brutal... I didn't bother with the DLC as I heard it wasnt as good as the base game, and also I got this for free.. and wasn't about to spend extra money lol
@@itsstuddy It might not be "as good" as the base game, but it's still pretty good in my opinion. They offered enough variety between Eltariel in the Blade of Galadriel DLC and Baranor in the Desolation of Mordor DLC that each felt unique and offered a new challenge. I was lucky to get a $30 bundle with both Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War's DLC included, which is why I went for (and succeeded) in getting 100% for both.

I’ve just got the Platinum trophy for this game. It’s absolutely the best game ever.
I have the platinum for both these games and I really enjoyed them especially as someone who knows none of the LOTR lore

Tried the Baraon The Conquerer Achievement about a year after the game got out because i restarted it.
Thought it was impossible because of the random traits Captains can get and never tried.
Around December last year a friend of mine asked me why i'm only missing one Achievement for Shadow of War and why Shadow of Mordor isn't 100% already.
So i did that, the Challenges in Mordor with a guide were very easy, got them in the first try - cheesy tactic, but i don't care.
And for the Conquerer Achievement, after i read through a guide i thought, at least test how far i get. And i got it, and i wasn't even trying. yey. \ö.ö/
This has to be one of my most favorite games of all time

You can recruit an orc that decimated your follower
But now that they’re yours they just refuse to attack
Should do the Blade of Galadriel DLC. If I remember correctly it tells you what really happens to Talion and what he becomes at the end.
You should try shadow of mordor, its hardest achievement is HARD. At the very least take a loot at it just to see how hard it is, the achievement title is "the hunt is my mistress"
by far the hardest trophy i agree, its similar to the baranor trophy in this one.
Tbh Pitt fight we’re my favorite but to be fair I hunted for the beat orcs to recruit for pit fighting
The other day I was watching a pit fight and I beefed my guy up so much just to watch him and the other orc essentially just stare at each other the entire 3 minutes, I’m not even kidding I think I saw MAYBE 3 hits the entire time.
yeah its insane, you make the ultimate orc.. and they just circle each other, its like watching a high school playground fight

Congrats on the Platinum. I’ve had to 100% this game a few times because of DLC’s that kept getting added on. They’d always lower my completion percentage. At this point I’m at 99%, never got the final DLC achievement.
I was curious, how do you deal with DLC? Do you play them for games you’ve platinumed or just say fuck it?

Word of advice if your going to do the pit fights OVERLEVEL your orcs like in my most recent run my orcs where near max level (due to exploiting death threats for more xp) so that way even with the bs your orcs can still 2-3 shot.
I reamember getting the platinam for this game but for some reason none of the throphys that you strugled with were difficult for me and instead the throphy "If you can't beat em" was the most difficult

You said a few trophies were unattainable after shadow wars was completed but never mentioned which ones? Do you know which ones they were
If you want to get through the pit fights with ease, wait until your orcs are able to reach level 60 - 70
Like I took a week to level up talion and my orcs from the before to level 45 atleast and then when hunting for more recruits

Well there is one trophy in the Base game i dont get till this day. Ride every beast Art. And there are one or two missing and i have no idea which one. Any Tipps for that?
riding every beast is super easy, 2 of them have rare spawns, but any guide on YT will help with there locations
If am in level 20 example and captain on level 21 so i can't recruit him if I shame him one time and reduce the level then recruit him is it bad ?
Not really, early shame only removes 5 levels, but later on its 9 levels. Its worth to shame if the ork is good, but if it's a bad captain just kill him
Funny, i didn’t really have much trouble with the platinum trophy except for a trophy for dying to a captain 3 times and the recruiting them. Bc my captains kept saving me
yeah that one annoyed me too. I had to do let a normal orc kill me coz i found they dont intervene much to this. Then I sent a death threat to this new orc so my captains didnt intervene. Then sent death threat again, the orc was very high level when i finally was done with dying 3 times to it, so defeating to shun him to my level took some time, then recruited him once he was to finally get that trophy.

couldnt plat the game cause one side quest is crushing the game so i just forgot it about it
The pit fights require you to specifically counter the enemy fears and weaknesses not just get a higher level dude in and expect him to do better because of it.
Did you actually look at the pit fight levels? Most of my fights bar maybe the first 2, I always was the lower level, with either specific teammates such as beasts if opponents where afraid, or fire weapons if opponents where vulnerable to fire. I pretty sure I even mention the fire weapon one in this video, as well as you can see my guy riding a beast, when the dude is just firing arrows... I know how it works.

I am only missing 1 trophy which is trolling any advice for getting it
if you're still struggling. Find a captain (preferably olog coz theyre slow and dont usually use throwables). Make sure he's not immune to arrows coz it makes it easier to get him 1 hit before death. Don't have any branded followers that could kill him.
Recruit this olog captain, then give him an olog gang and make this gang of ologs stronger. Then shun-worse than death that olog captain so he keeps the gang of ologs attribute but is your enemy now. Then find him get his health really low like 1 hit, then charged headshot one of his ologs and spam r1 (do the headshot when youre right next to the olog, so the r1 mount is in range straight away because the dazed time is really low). Then ride the olog and run at captain and press attack make sure you target him straight away because the olog will throw you off in a few seconds and youd have to mount it again which is effort. If you've got it to one hit, then just hit the cap once with olog and kill and the trophy will pop.
Damn I wish you would have found shadow of Mordor first since the story would have been 1000x better if you played the first game first

I dont own Shadow of Mordor.. and I had a few comments about this game specifically, so I assume it was the better one of the 2
well i got lucky with the pit fight, i recruited an uruk called the Tower who one shotted everyone after I gave him Thick skin from the shop, so spend like 4000 mirian and its done and get the tower
its better if the tower is a Savage and not a warrior but mine was a warrior so he did die once but I revived him and he was back fighting
Wait how a thought the orks called the tower was Unbreakable a lest every time a seen them they were always so cool
