Hey bro. So I’ve done the tutorial you posted about how to get the sword but every time I follow the steps they never drop a sword. What system are you playing on and could there possibly be a glitch as to why I never get a sword?
Yeah unfortunately it's a random drop, that technique just increases your odds... I play mostly on PS4 but i got the sword on the PC version too and it doesn't matter the system, mostly just dumb luck... :)

Yes! You can simply turn those upgrades off in the skills menu :)
Bro, thank you so much for explaining that Wrathgiver isn't a single sword and is actually any sword that gives Wrath. I've been trying to get a Wrathgiver Sword for 9 days now and just learned that I destroyed like 30 Wrathgiver Swords.

If you’re going to use wraithgiver , keep an eye out for rings that give 33% wraith duration. You can also reroll that perk on legendary rings. I use Ringwraith dagger, chest, and cloak. Vendetta ring and bow and wraithgiver. Vendetta is great for getting your wraith full even when you run out of might.

Damn. When I first saw Wrathgiver's ability, I was pretty nonplussed. Anything that builds wrath is obviously good (and wrath for stealth kills is my favorite dagger upgrade) but the sword only working for executions seemed mediocre to me. But two things I learned from this video completely change that: 1) that Elven Light counts as an execution for each hit; and 2) that you can build wrath _while_ in Elven Rage/Ringwraith mode to extend the duration. I've watched about 6 different videos on this sword and none of them explain "How" it works. Thank you! I wasn't using the default Elven Light so my sword wasn't working and it was extremely frustrating! I can't wait to try this now!

I found a hacked orc in a vendetta that counters this sword to an extent. The bugger has some purple abilities that do things like "take less damage when above 75% health" "take less damage when below 75% health" "takes less damage when health above 50%" "takes less damage when below 50%" "takes less damage when above 35%" "takes less damage when below 35%" "HEALS ON KILL"!
This fugger just didn't want to die. He was immune to everything and a fast learner. Had the execution counter on top of being immune. In the end elven light was the only thing that could effect him. Knocking him down for ground attacks worked for a bit until he adapted then the only damage he would take was from elven light. If I let my allies get close to him they would get killed super fast and heal him to full HP. I made him chase me to a rooftop where he couldn't heal anymore. The only thing he didn't have was IRON WILL, now he has a home as my bodyguard never to see the light of online play again.

Dont forget the glaive attack. It deals like 3x times the elven light damage. Against multiple captains and execution immune orcs its insane. I ussually dont even use executions cause i got the glaive

I remember killing 677 captain to drop, sometime it's drop early in the game but you may dismantle it before you know how powerful it's.

This helped like a legend brother, I have 20+ hours in the game and still don't understand half of the things on my screen lol, in this video alone half of the stuff I have on my screen actually made sense to me now.
Is there a current BEST build/armour gear that you would suggest using with the wrathgiver?
I want to start using the glaive as well, I see a lot of people using it with explosive bonuses and it seems pretty nutty.

I came back playing this month a stopped after beating the story and dlcs so I never really hardcored the game min maxing and such but I just 100% the game this week made 2 insane builds so I was just Rollin up one night this week and just on the UA-cam and searching general things best swords etc I thought my humiliator was the best and don't get me wrong its an amazing sword but right after watching a video on this sword I checked my inventory and no shit I had 1 I seen the 10 wrath gain and I was like get outta here. It's is absolutely busted get the 33% duration increase on a cloak ans man I'm soloing army's in fortress defense, they can't breach my walls and if they do it's usually the last wave and you can remain in wraith form for the whole siege if you use it right, make sure your elven light upgrade is no element and one elven light will start the madness.
How do I gain so much might so fast to use elven the first time and why does ur wrath giver fills up ur full wrath

I’m at lv 52 currently
You can see that I made explosions when attacking the siege beasts! Explosions are the best way to get a LOT of might very quickly (the more enemies you damage with it, the better). Make sure you are using your Elven Light without any upgrades (no frost, fire or poison damage on it, just the regular one) since that is the one that fills your wrath the most, and of course, try to use Elven Light on as many enemies as possible to get as much wrath as you can. :) Hope I answered your question, feel free to ask anything I did not make clear and have fun in Mordor! :)

Weird that after all of these years. No one ever bother to use Wrathgiver the way it was supposed to work once they realize Elven light works with it.
Seriously. Put on the Vendetta set and after 3-4 executes. Wrath is full. It may be that much cause my prestige extra wrath gain is nearing around 89.
But it’s a good thing to remember when there’s barely any enemies grouped up.
If you just jump off the siege beasts, you will destroy their siege weapon, but you keep the graug at your side

In my experience to get the Wrathgiver sword in 2023, it was with an orc 85 destroyer with no element on the weapon, I didn't hit him with any element, I killed him with a ground execution dagger without potency, with Death threat of course and Discerning Eye skill ON. I have obtained with the max potency another type of sword doing the same, I did not use the wrath.
This sword is only good in sieges where you can recharge the wrath, in 1v1 or when there are few enemies it is not worth it.
How to get the Humiliator in 2023, it was with an orc lev 85 epic scorching marksman, it was with a normal execution when using wrath, without Death threat and Discerning Eye skill ON.
Humiliator is good in sieges as Wrathgiver, 10 seconds of infinite potency gives you about 3 or 4 executions on another captain. When you are defending point A for example and there are 5 captains around you, with lev 80 and all the gems in damage, it gives you the ability to kill one captain to another almost infinitely.
For me the 2 best sword in the game.
PD: Sorry if some names are different, I play in another language and translate it as it is written in my language. I hope this mini-guide helps someone to get these 2 op swords.

I think i have the perfect Wrathgiver build, let me know what you think of my build:
Sword: Wrathgiver with 15% extra damage at full health secondary
Dagger: Dagger of vengeance with 33% increased critical damage secondary
Hammer: Mightmender with 3 might on ranged attack hit secondary
Armor: Armor of vengeance with 30 wrath gained when captain is killed secondary
Cloak: Mask of undying (you can't reroll the secondary on that one)
Rune: Starclaimer or Heart taker with 33% elven rage duration.
Put a perfect red rune on every single gear piece except for the bow where you put a perfect green rune
damn this is so op i need to finish game fast and get wraithgiver

That is a good question and thanks for the nice comment! :) If you get to the end of the game, you get different capes of the nazgul that have some amazing bonuses and one of them is using the waters at no cost and even adding to your damage when you use it! :)

That IS the Wrathgiver! :) You just need to upgrade it and it will become Wrathgiver :)

Hello i had recently acquired the wrathgiver but i am a little confused on why i can't gain the might when i use plain elven rage, even when i don't use the elementals on it. Any advice?
Did you upgrade it so it has unlocked it's bonus? Does the sword actually have the name Wrathgiver?

So I try to farm wrathgiver yesterday and I got the sword but some other name. I thought it wasn't wrathgiver and I moved on questing and other stuff. Now Iwas watching some videos of farming it and saw noboday had wrathgiver name. I feel like an idiot now coz I didnt take a look at item power. I am eager to see if its actually wrathgiver. As soon as I get my hand on console tonight i hope it rly is wrathgiver.

@@propscetodk9896 no but I got one later. I didn't farm it as all guides tho. I found an orc that is elementless in nurnen, than I sended him death treath and start the mission since there you can do him 1v1 withot anyone get in the way. Than I just make sure I killed him with ground finisher. As soon as I executed him I started to spam start button to enter the menu. There I checked if I got the sword or something else. If no sword than I quited from the menu and start the game again so quest was count as not finished and farmed that same orc until I got the sword. Took me around 6 tries to get it. Note that I wasnt in elven rage. I was level 41 and got one with 8 wraith per execution, now I am level 62 and I upgraded it to my level and its 10 wraith per exec.
You did the farm with my method but you restarted the game to kill the same orc! Very impressive and smart! Good job mate, have a good time in Mordor!

I'm sorry I don't know what you mean? :) My focus runs out in the video (although a bit slowly). Maybe you mean how it's so slow to run out? There is a perk in the skill tree making focus last longer while shooting mid-air! :)

Got the sword but it was first a Rangers sword not a Rohim sword. And I gain 8 wrath instead of 10 . I am level 42 , will it increase when I level up?
Yes! But you don't need to worry too much about the ammount of wrath since you get tons of it from every elven light anyway :)
Is there a reason you don't have upgrades on some of your abilities? And why not use the elemental elven light? Does it not trigger the wrath increase?
You are correct there! In order to use Wrathgiver effectively, I have to use elven light without any upgrades :) Someone asked me to do a little video on skills I use so I might make a more detailed explanation there :)

Not many orcs can have an immune to blind & disorient or dazed so which is good for this build without an element

Nope, you unlock a lot of cool stuff, powers and armors at the end of the game! :)
How do you have unlimited focus using teleport?
Mask of the Undying! It's a ringwraith set cloak that makes it cost no focus and actually increases your damage for 5 seconds after using it :)

One question I got the wrathgiver but it doesn't look like yours. Do you know why ?
Great question! See, all swords that aren't legendary can be any of the classic sword shapes in game! For exaple, once u get the Wrathgiver, it first shows up as "Rohhirim, Gondorian, Rhovanion... sword" and only gets its Wrathgiver name after you upgrade the "wrath on execution" bonus! So it's randomly generated how it looks but it will always have the same effect once you get it :) Hope this wasn't too confusing! Please let me know if I need to explain it differently!

There is a cloak you get near the end of the game that has a bonus of "waters of lorien cost no focus" which means you can do it forever :)

The Wrathgiver is an epic sword so, no, there is no armor set that accompanies it :) Those are only the legendary sets :)

Oh, I think I remember something similar... But you really don't need anything else wrath-related since the sword is more than enough and you can use the armor slot for some extra bonuses 😉

It's the cloak from wraith set! It gives you a secondary bonus that dashes don't use focus anymore and actually boost damage! :)

lastimosamente el juego salio hace bastabte, lo unico similar a lo que dices es en el dlc de Desolacion de Mordor donde el sistema nemesis aplica con humanos y habilifades dif., incluso pueden ser lideres de campamento, lo medianamente bueno es que si llega a salir un tercer juego, prob. tenga bqstantes cosas de la que dices.
aparte, Galadriel, Gandalf,Isildur, Sauron, Saruman y el Rey brujo ya tienen papeles en la historia asi que dudo de que hagan algo mas haya de eso, lo mismo con Barad Ur ya que al final es destruido.
y de las bestias no sabria decirte, el estudio ya de primeras no queria poner criaturas antes vistas en lotr por que querian que Mordor y el escenario en general parezca kucho mas vioento y extraño.

It's the sword! With Wrathgiver you can get full wrath from just one (unupgraded) elven light among 5 or 6 enemies :) I made a few videos on how to get it and gow to use it :)

Why is it so good ? I mean… only after killing a captain? I have a sword that gives me that every time I get a critical hit, literally every critical. Even it isn’t game changing or anything I still switch swords out all the time. I think people just have to always have some stupid thing I think is the best

I don’t know how you guys have been getting this silly sword but I’ve killed at least 40 different orcs I’ve finished the game and the only sword I got was a might sword not a wrath one:/
