One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

OSU has a game next week against Penn State. They’re gonna need a great performance out of Kyle McCord, because PSU is pretty good at stuffing up the run

That's worrisome, because McCord has no QB strengths, and Ryan Day knows it. Hopefully he pulls out all the tricks to get points on the board, because Penn State is a tough out.
McCord doesn't have to throw bombs. Quick outs, squares, slants, flags, posts. Look at the receivers Day and Hartline put out there against Purdue. Penn State is going to freak out. For real.

@@user-qd6gi4rl9q Did you watch him against Maryland? He was under throwing screen passes. All Maryland did was start stacking the box and Ryan Day had to contort the offense into a pretzel to escape with a win at home against a team that won't be bowl eligible. It's not that he doesn't have arm strength. It's that he doesn't excel at ANYTHING as a QB. Doesn't have the accuracy to compensate for the lack of arm. (look at that first TD to Cade in this game. He had to pull it away from a defender even though he was standing still in the end zone.) He can't escape the pass rush with athleticism, but he also doesn't get the ball out quickly to compensate for that. Marvin Harrison would be a Heisman finalist with Fields or Stroud still at QB, but unfortunately this kid isn't going to play on Sundays, and that means the Buckeyes won't be playoff bound this year.

If you saw the game last week, you know McCord ain't it, but luckily it seems like Ryan Day realizes it and is trying to work around him. It'll be much tougher against Penn State.
@@phantomcyrano bro you been under every post talking about McCord. Is he a first rounder? No. Is he necessarily elite? No. But he is talented and good enough to win. He’s the most game ready which makes him the best qb we have. He has a strong and an when in rhythm he is a good qb. So please stop it

@@Marcdogg_ not sure how two threads = every post but ok I'll bite. Explain to me how McCord is a good QB. I think he isn't, and I think that his weaknesses actually ENHANCE Ryan Day's resume because he's showing his versatility and ability to build a productive offense even with a limited quarterback. But I'd be happy to look up the highlights that you have of McCord where he shows he is good. Because when you look at receivers waiting on passes to get there, off target throws, lack of ability to escape the pocket and a slow release when the pocket holds up, I'm not seeing anything to convince me that he can drive the offense to the playoffs, which is the standard at Ohio State. If he were the QB at Wisconsin, then I got you, he's solid. But with this track team of receivers and now the defense starting to really pick up particularly in the pass rush department, it's disappointing that this might be coach Day's best team outside of QB, but the weak link under center will keep them out of the final four and cost them in Ann Arbor.
for some reason my saturation on peacock looked horrible but when i switched to a diff game on hulu it looked normal. but wheels saturation looks fine is this on my end or did it look weird to anyone else?

Im going to say something Ohio St fans will not like, but the way McCord is passing will not work against good defenses. Penn St and Michigan will eat these under thrown and back foot fade away passes up. You already can barely run so you'll have to hope your defense holds them under 20 points.

McCord is releasing the ball too late and his receivers are 40 yards downfield and I think it makes his passes look under throne. I have noticed in 3 games were Junior had to literally stopped to catch the ball, to me it looks like a timing issue and it looks like McCord is having problems judging his distance. I think he has the arm strength, he's not using it correctly and I can't believe the coaching staff is not working with him on this.

@@negadiv6306 you were definitely one of the same ppl that said bench cj stroud at the start of 2021 💀💀💀💀. For one he had several dropped throws today and would have thrown for 400. But I guess that’s terrible right. The Johnson play downfield was an amazing ball after avoiding a sack but Johnson decided to try to one hand catch it instead of catching it normally. He’s great at reading his progressions and throwing tight passes to keep the offense moving.

I'm glad that no one is taking PSU seriously... they're only the #6 team in the country, and top #1&2 in the nation in defense. The offense has many weapons and a qb that has the arm and moxy to back it up...but keep thinking that only Michigan counts😅

7 weeks in, playing a subpar team, ranked #3, while the PAC12 is going through a MEAT GRINDER and everyone is going to get 1 loss... Best Conference in NCAAF isn't going to have 1 representative AMD this is their last year as a BIG5... May not be a great team. Hopefully they can pile up wins while developing leaders, playmakers & difference-makers. Statistically they’ve played @ a top 25 level. They need better pass rush & more consistent run production to be great. Probably won’t materialize this year. Hope they don’t end up 9-3 or worse due to these weaknesses
