Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.
If you’re looking for a place that can educate you with commentary on top of high quality edits, this is the place for you! I’ve covered Baseball (MLB, NCAA, LLWS), Football (NFL, NCAA), Basketball (NBA, NCAA), Hockey (NHL), Softball (NCAA), and much more!
I make my videos on the HP Spectre x360. I use Adobe Premiere Rush to edit, which allows me to commentate and efficiently splice up clips in a high quality way.
One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I started making them with team logos on the left, and a game snapshot on the right, and I’ve gotten almost all of my video views with that style.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

Olave might be the smoothest and most natural football player I've ever seen. I expect big things from him this season and in the NFL.
Gus said "2 Sweet" as he scored . Should be his nickname .
You didn't watch devonta Smith last year?
@@JackycClark Yeah I heard that. I was honestly blown away because I thought he stepped out of bounds. His footwork is incredible
@@vibesking8658 don’t mind him he clearly is wearing Scarlett glasses. This game is very concerning if your an Ohio st fan. Olave disappears when he plays an all conference or higher db. Which is why he did not leave early for the nfl. His tape is bad when he goes up against good to elite talent.

Hell of a game by Minnesota. I'm impressed by their quarterback, he was throwing into TIGHT windows all game.
Surprising how good Morgan was. He was complete garbage before
@@tuffpuppy2030 He had over 3000 yards in 2019 when he had great targets to throw to. They were drafted by the NFL. These new receivers did pretty well and are starting to get on the same page with Tanner Morgan.

Big ups to the OSU coaching staff for making the necessary adjustments to shut down Minnesota in the 2nd half. Gophers showed up with a great effort.
ohio state has always been a second half team as long as i can remember.
@@hoopsmccann639 all the great teams are second half teams. With that being said, stroud seem much more lax and at ease in the second half. Hopefully that translates into Oregon
Yea IMO Ohio state coaches seem like they where trying to coach in the worst predicaments, well Fleck said he will make OSU coaches coach and I think they gave him a great response and no disrespect to Minnesota cause they are a really good team but OSU coaches made the game close (which I predicted) I had Minnesota putting up 21-28 on us this was very much expected for me, but our coaches needed a challenge so they gave their selfs one, with starting two freshman at Cb and Seyvn Banks sitting out for no reason I think I seen OSU intent right there, we had 12 players out well 13 technically with Palaie Gaoteote (our most talented Lb) still not eligible yet, then on the offensive side we fed Miyan the ball 8 times and he averaged about 10 yards a carry and obviously couldn’t be stopped, I think this just goes to show you how dangerous this OSU team really is, they faced a pretty good team that’ll be ranked, at their house, at 8 pm first game of season and with 12 players out and practically forced CJ to get comfortable, I don’t see to many teams to beat this team when they are at full strength
@@chazemuney1590 I agree with most of what you said and as a buckeye fan and realist you’re right not too many teams will be able to beat this team when full strength. Cam Brown and Banks were both listed about 7hrs before the game as out, banks is still dealing with the leg injury that’s been nagging him in camp and with Cam I think with the weather and the injury he came off of they were already hesitant.. as much as the defensive secondary looked lost at times guys like ransom and burke looked very good. Miyan needs the ball more as does Trey, 3 totes for him freshman or not is not the way to go. with that OL we should be a run first team anyways and usually always have been. We have a lot of shiny toys but will be much easier to use them with that established run. Teams (even after last night) are going to try and make CJ beat them and if I were a defense I would too. Most of his throws were uncontested and guys were wide open. He has to just take care of the ball and make good decisions
@@michaelsizemore5911 I agree with that and I said that on another comment, CJ is what every other defense is watching they want him to beat them, because he is very talented but looked hesitant and way to nervous, like he’s use to being a backup now that wasn’t expected from me, I thought he’d make a quick transition and your right even the touchdown passes where cause our receivers getting open he has to take care of the rock but he’s hesitance will make him make bad decisions I love the fact our coaches forced him to get comfortable we kept airing it out even if we didn’t think it’ll work and came up with 2 scores cause of it and his interception was his fault but it did bounce of a guys hands still CJ fault cause he was clearly overthrowing guys and playing to nervous but I happen to believe that those are first game jitters I believe he turns it on against Oregon and steals the show there he’ll be the star of that game him and Olave will steal the show but for teams like Indiana, Penn state etc we are gonna have to beat them on the ground, I think we can beat Oregon on the ground to I just happen to know their secondary isn’t as good as their D line or linebackers
Minnesota had a great chance to win this, but they pretty much needed to play perfect. Once the QB fumbled and it was ran back for a td by Ohio State, that was a wrap on this game
they did not have a great chance to win this. They played as good as they could and capitalized on an OSU turnover and had moments in the game to make it a game but as bad as a first half and defense that OSU played i don’t think anyone was super concerned
Lol minnesota sucks
@@owen8321 as a buckeye fan I don’t think they suck. Their OL and RB are definitely up there with top teams but they seem to be more one dimensional and if Ibraham is out for an extended amount of time they are a different team and might struggle. I wasn’t impressed by their defense at all. CJ had all day to do whatever he wanted , maybe that’s why I am a little skeptical of his stats bc the YAC was way more impressive than the throws he made
yes...too many mistakes.
I agree with you but at the same time it’s a talent league and osu were clearly the more talented team
It took a while but Cj Stroud finally settled in. The more concerning part was Ohio State's defense though, Ibrahim (hope he gets better) ran through them like they were butter.
From the looks of Ibrahim's Injury look like like an achilles.
@@traycobra6825 I thought it was just a minor hyperextension, but when he had the walking boot on, knew it was was serious obviously. OSU pass defense was not good and run defense would be better if the pass defense had been better.
@Who Dat On offense yes they did on defense no they didn't stop with blatant hatred of osu.
Looks like the defense is very young lacking the usual playmakers.
starting CBs out lol that will do it
Im concerned about the secondary, the overall defensive (especially the D Line) I don't expect to be a problem , the DLine is just way too talented. For a freshman CB I really thought Burke looked great.
Cavezos is a future 1st rounder if he improves on the jersey grabbing.
@@ethanweeter2732 Yeah, I agree he seemed like a first day pick or Third round. Either way im not concerned . I Just hate that Oregon has to be the next game.
Has anyone seen Banks?? I promise he’s a CB1 is he injured or something?? Cause the secondary a little sus!
@@Antisatan7771 He tweaked something in warmups. He was dressed out but didn't play. Cam Brown our other CB didn't make the trip.
@@Antisatan7771 Banks and Brown were both absent from the game
Stroud is good and luckily Wilson and Olave can keep him at ease. Two amazing wide recievers. He's only going to get better.
Super impre4ssed with Wilson. i expected Olave to excel. wide receivers will open the good running game for end runs. i expect the OS offense to excel this year. Stroud is still a question mark but experience will do him a world of good. The offense may have to carry the defense this year. Or maybe the Gophers are for reaql this year. Their running game looks great and they can throw the medium range passes effectively. I guess next week at Oregon will show more of both Stroud and our defense.
Not that good. He will struggle against better defenses
He needs to get more comfortable and release that ball like he did in the spring game he looked great but last night looked off, yea Minnesota is good and your at their house but still some of those reads he overthrew it, OSU looking unstoppable it’s the Qb now that’ll be questioned and tested

@Who Dat doesn't matter we WON...
wow osu really shook the whole country with this impressive win
@Who Dat No cause Minnesota didn't make that many mistakes I get you don't like osu but don't be dumb.
@Who Dat the Buckeyes had their share of mistakes
Had 12 players out
THE strip sack for a TOUCHDOWN was great, but Ibrahim getting knocked out I thought was more of turning point, minnesota lost that edge...
OSU had no answer for him on the RPO's running off tackle.
OSU was a -400 favorite after the strip sack / touchdown .. The odds hardly shifted when Ibrahim went down. Disagree with this, Minnesota ran too much. 5 yards per play isn't getting it done against a team that's generating explosive plays against you. In fact, I'd argue OSU's injuries were more significant.
- Missing starting Center
-Missing 2 starting CBS
-Best DB went down around the time Ibrahim did in Proctor
Missing two starting CBs is a huge shift and CBs are more important than Rbs IMO.
Ibrahim looked great and I hope he gets back on the field soon, but every running back takes wear and tear. When the entire team leans on him I expect him to get banged up and hurt. Would've been an interesting game had he not been taken out of the equation
Buckeye Nation knew this would be a game - Gophers have great talent and experience. Buckeyes just got too much! Hats off to PJ & Co. But this was nice win for OSU. Nation is on warning: T Henderson & Mayan Williams can get it done! Stroud will get much better.
If Minnesota Running back Ibrahim didn't tear his calf this would have been a really great game. Still good tho
Except that Ohio St called off the dogs halfway through quarter 4.
Once they got up (because of the strip sack) 10 or 14 it was over.
Didnt matter honestly. They woulda lost either way. No chance.
Much better play calling in 2nd half..run the ball, play action and just stroud make easier throws to his weapons which are simply elite….stroud doesn’t need to be Dan Marino, just get the ball to his playmakers and watch them make plays.
I think Stroud has a good arm. Looked like most of the deep throws were effortless.
What's up Show Time
@@thebigchap101 what is going on !! Are you ready for some football !!!???!!!! Saturday is going to be lit with all the big matchups !!
That PI call early on was so uncatchable
Two thoughts: First, D needs to get off the field! But it was probably good for the defense to get all those reps (Minn 75 offensive plays, OSU 48 plays). Second, hopefully OSU offense will be able to grind out scoring drives to keep the defense off the field so they don't wear out. The biggest problem next week might be if Oregon runs off a bunch of long drives and keeps OSU offense off field.
That said, GO BUCKS!!!
@Garrett Bailey I’m saying. I hate when they try to rotate backs so much. Same thing with Weber and dobbins couple years ago. Find your starter and feed him. Keep his groove on
@@mason9392 you can’t beat fresh legs though. Williams and Henderson will get the majority of the carries this year though.
@@MrStark30009 I think that's how it will go. In big games especially. That's basically what they did in the second half.
@Garrett Bailey we might be the only team in america complaining about a running back that averaged 4.8 yards a carry. Teague is great option in those short yardage carries. Not explosive like henderson or williams but hes a battering ram
Good comeback win for oh st, but as a 🦆 fan I’m thinking this game is a lot closer than most think now. Can’t wait for a game against great competition such as Ohio st. Nice not to have all cupcake games before conference.
Should be a good game... Good luck
Ohio State needed this challenge to start the season.
Minnesota's run game kept them in the game. They deserve some credit
The best part about the game when Gus Johnson said Haskell the rascal
That boy proctor is the only thing that gives me hope for Ohio state's defense. I was impressed with the defensive line, but I'm scratching my head because this was a good Minnesota team and now you have a week to get ready for the Oregon Ducks who are going to be even tougher, but I don't think we'll disappoint in this coming up week? I will say our depth on the offensive side of the football is unreal and as we go further down the road this offensive machine will be running through every one and we no what we have at the receiver position but I'm not going to lie, I don't think anyone would have saw how deep we are at the running back position besides Master Teauge the 3rd
Really like Coach Fleck and Minnesota. Great culture and program. Plus I love any Head Coach that does a throwback to shirt and ties. Would love to see Saban do that. Anyway, the OSU Offense was very impressive. I was especially impressed by the offensive line and the offense's overall speed and skill. And though Minnesota is a very good program, the OSU defense is still a major concern. Ibrahim ran through them all night, which opened up the passing game. Against a top 20 offense, it would have been a loss. Of course I'm not an expert, that's why I post on UA-cam comment threads. Lol
Yeeee college football is back BB!!!... Big season!.. all the new QB's at the big schools it's going to be very interesting... CJ, DJ, Bryce, Emory
10:04 this 50 yard pass looks effortless

We’ll need to remember we had 2 freshman at corner this game our starters were out. I believe experience will bode well for those young players. They really showed up and I’m proud of both teams honestly, they put on a hell’Ava show
if only the rest of the season is like this game.
5:52 "He wanted to make the Ohio State Coaches, coach" He did... and then they came out with adjustments and blasted them for 5 TDs in the 2nd half. Ohio State's coaches are pretty good.
All Big 10 teams are subject to the targeting rules, except OSU of course.

Great game! Minnesota came with a gameplan, OSU Didn't break :D The Backs, Oline and Dline were good tonight. Stroud after the half to :D Great hit near the end btw, That kid made a play.
He's lucky that wasn't targeting. The ref gifted him the no call and his next game because he wanted that game to finally end.
Yeah, that hit was dirty, it’s the exact play that the pros want to take out of the game, the kid was nearly knocked out cold because the defender lead with his helmet and hit the defenseless receiver in the head. Textbook targeting, doesn’t matter the intent.
@@r3_wastaken Nah, it wasn't a dirty hit at all. He was trying to make a big play, and he did. He was not leading with his helmet or the crown of his helmet, especially with no intention to injure a player. The WR lowered his helmet into the defender anyway, causing any kind of tiny contact. I am glad the reff over looked any kind of 'targeting' call, no one deserved to be thrown out the next game for anything... I am all for keeping players safe and keeping the dirty plays out of the NFL and Ncaa.. That is not what this was even closed to and Ohio State has never been a dirty team in my 20 plus years of watching them D: They won't start under Coach Day.

@@jcm028 Like only 1 or 2 calls were questionable. what about those calls against OSU in that first half?
@@jcm028 They screwed OSU over with that roughing the passer call. Roughing the passer is only if you hit the QB hard and with full force well after he throws. Gant slowed down and put his hands up. Minnesota could've pulled the upset, but their defense has to many holes at every level and no scheme whatsoever! It's to basic. @Colin Steadland fair, I just hate it when they happen at a game changing point. Minnesota was driving till that "fumble". Not to mention the amount of no calls I saw all game long about PI... I am biased cause I hate OSU and the amount of stuff they get away with, simply cause they're Ohio state.
@Colin Steadland it's funny you say that, I saw just after a PI no call the Big 10 commissioner was pointed out on TV guess he couldn't have their championship hopeful losing to Minnesota. The Gophers should have won that game hopefully the RB can return he was electric.
@Colin Steadland I am not. My hatred for OSU is almost running as deeply as my hatred for Texas. Sadly, I'm a Nebraska fan. But it really is all about the money. Why do you think OU and Texas are running for the hills and SEC?
@Colin Steadland then you only ran in to the good fans! We are usually pretty nice. But abide by "don't start none won't be none". And like all fanbases some of us enjoy booze a little too much. But yeah same with Minnesota, I hope y'all can keep it up cause it's healthy for the B1G to have as many challengers to OSU as possible.
