I made this for dinner and it was AMAZING! I only omitted the pork since I’m vegetarian and it wasn’t missing anything despite not using that. Your mom is wonderful and I would love more recipes from her! Much love to the both of you and her as well. ❤
As always, Okasama's recipe looks delicious! Can't get much better than crispy vegetables and tofu in a savory sauce! (Although I haven't eaten meat since I was a kid, I have to admit to missing the porky-goodness sometimes.ツ )

I attempted this recipe and it was so delicious!! We had this dish with steamed rice... that was so good. Every time I stirred the source, I told myself, ‘I must do this classy. I shouldn’t do it like causing a hurricane’.

I like to make this at home also but I put potato starch on the tofu before frying, making it crispier. I also like to add toasted sesame seeds on top. I think you helped me decide what to make for dinner tonight. Thank you! ;)

This recioe looks so appetizing. I'm going to have to give it a try. We love seasoned flour coated corn tofu fried. So I might change it up a bit so my husband will eat it. Thank you once again for a wonderful recipe.
Look so good again!!! and not deep fried this time hahaha Although I think you can make it with deep fried tofu (like how you would fry t for age dashi tofu) as well. This sauce is so versatile. If you leave the pork out it is vegetarian, or you can add it over fish or steamed chicken. I think it would taste great over kara age as well 😊 Love your mom's recipes and the videos are a delight to watch. Always happy when she makes these videos with you. Hope she will be this energetic for a long time to come ❤
