We didn't have crucible back then in 74 and to we were tested on. Elliott's beach and believe me it wasn't a picnic training was still. Tough they didn't let up either ooh rah
@jamesinman5789. I went through P.I. in the summer of 74 Platoon 251. I didn't make it because of being deaf in my right ear. Plus I had a heart condition not found until 1990. This cost me two heart operations. I spent 3 months on P.I. During that time I auditioned for the Marine Band, and made it. I learned to handle anything that came at me, I was told by my D.I. if given the chance I would have made it without a doubt. Now I can handle what ever comes at me just by my training I endured.
