Absolutely agree with you. Concise and straight to the point. Will definitely benefit the mass audience layman understanding especially to the first time car buyers. I also appreciate that they shared the 5/7/9 years payment commitment too. Kudos to paultan team.
RM 38.6k for the base G spec is completely stupid in my opinion. The older Axia generation is only priced at RM 32k 7 years ago and has demister, rear cup holders, rear passengers handle, teh tarik hooks, anti snatch theft handbag hook, cup holders. Interior looks ugly as well compared to the older ones So what the car has Traction Control, VSC, and ABS? Its a small car, not meant to be flying down the road at 120km/h hitting corners at full throttle.. if the road conditions aren't ideal, then go slow. It seems to me like perodua is just forcing people to buy their higher spec Axias instead of introducing a 'entry level / affordable' car for the people if you compare the highest spec AV at RM 49.5k, might as well top up another 10k and get the myvi AV at RM 59.9k. Additional 10k for a bigger engine, bigger car. I think that would be even more worth it. Extra 10k stretched over 5/7 years is probably less than 100/month?
for me it's not worth to buy because i feel the company just want to suck up my money. But if the price is Rm49 to get all the features better i buy toyata or Honda or even Proton more comfortable and more value.
I don't know, but I liked the Axia before this in terms of looks. Small but compact and suitable for its engine. This new one looks like it struggles to be like his brother, Myvi.
In all honesty, saga will smoke the bottom variants with only fuel consumption to consider the axia, i mean getting a stripped down axia over the loaded premium or premium S saga or even rhe bigger bezza? Bonkers. Having said that. The top variant especially the AV is a great upgrade from the last gen. Shame that only the AV has 6 airbags. Not everyone can afford a rm50k car though.
I think SE is the sweet spot because you'll get some useful features too like power mode, LED headlight with DRLs, digital aircond and few more features. it may not have the ASA 3.0 but most Axia owners wouldn't mind about that
I agree with some of commenters about either get the AV or saga. The options are as such that it forces you to get the AV for a worthwhile purchase. Even though im interested in the SE, I know I will regret buying it due to the omission of a few accessories that make it worthwhile.
The variant structure is almost forcing you to get the AV. Even the SE is not a sincere enough package, omitting the lcd console and buttons on the steering.
The SE variant is utter stupidity to the max and should not exist anymore. Looking at the SO CALLED SE ( Special Edition) doesn't look and feel special at all! 40K+ but don't even have touch screen radio player
imo it either take the Av spec or just buy some saga. The se and below look cheap ngl. The instrument cluster and infotainment just make it worth to take the AV. However, the rims. man. that the first thing need to go when buying this car. The axia style got a much better 15inch rims.
This is a nice car no doubt, but tbh, it just lacks of practicality due to its space because it's a hatchback compared to Bezza, right now Bezza G (M) is currently the cheapest Perodua
Please put time stamps for the video. I am sure viewers would love that when they want to re-watch the variant they want without scrolling through the whole video. Hehe. great Video! But the price... hmmm.
With that price, i rather buy a mazda 2 hatchback skyactive engine with twice of the horsepower + premium interior. Who cares its second hand or what hand atleast im getting my money worth + faster. Cash that is.
To be honest. Axia SE is the well priced car and they're giving most of the important things that suit the price. Need to spend around rm300 to 400 to change to touchscreen 🤣
I love your commentary. Straight to the point. My choice would be the AV model. So many features that are found on much more expensive cars! Just one question. The third brake lights are LED. What about the standard brake lights? Are they LED too?
I wonder if additional of RM4,000 justify the upgrade items from X to SE. I do prefer some meaningful upgrades such as the exterior design and also interior features. I wonder if the LLumar tinting provided good enough if most of the time car parked in covered parking or shaded under the tree? Anyone can give some comments? Appreciate in advance ya
Malaysian people are lucky. we bangladeshi got some criminal mafia govt. Those thieves never make car industry . so we do not get any cheap car like Malaysian gets. IN Bangladesh bezza price around 23 thousand dollar .axia around 22 thousand dollar . our income lower than Malaysian but our price is super high, Malaysian these company should make these car in Bangladesh , many people can buy if they can sell those product around 10 thousand dollar
I bet most of these buyers will go for 9-year tenure loan, not much different between SE and AV for monthly installment, sometimes over 1 week you over spend on your meals or shopping also more than the amount. If i go for 9-year loan I will surely take the AV, you will regret later for buying the G and X unless you r GRAB drivers who just want very fuel efficient car with lowest expense.
After watching this, I can't help but think that this is an expensive- cheap car, at least in my books anyway. With the questionable omission of the rear window demisters for all variants and rev counter for the base two variants. Speaking of variants, why can't P2 consolidate them into like 3 variants, the current lineup just look like guilt tripping people into topping up a bit more to get some mundane features, like grab handles for example. Anyways, these are my opinions.
no doubt, AV variant is the way to go.. yes, much more expensive, but u get alot more with it. for gear up, this is the best option, no need big and ugly body kits
Anyone in this comment feel the company just want our money but not provided good quality interior and exterior of the car ? because i feel if Rm 49k to get better features better i buy proton or toyata or honda or even the Bezza.
This is a great and much needed comparison for consumers to have a better understanding of the differences. Great work PaulTan team!
Setuju...mujur mlm ni jgk dorang upload yg spec by spec comparison
Absolutely agree with you. Concise and straight to the point. Will definitely benefit the mass audience layman understanding especially to the first time car buyers.

Kudos to paultan team.
Ignore jela G spec tu, X spec tu yg ptut consider as base spec utk axia baru, beza 1.5k dpt mcm2 penambahan yg berbaloi
RM 38.6k for the base G spec is completely stupid in my opinion.

Myvi wannabe... Sigh

500 a month for 9 years, with 10% down payment is quite hard to swallow.i think the X is better valued
@@ahmadjohan6571 True, X has all the essentials
I agree with some of commenters about either get the AV or saga. The options are as such that it forces you to get the AV for a worthwhile purchase. Even though im interested in the SE, I know I will regret buying it due to the omission of a few accessories that make it worthwhile.
True Saga is better equipped & tuned unless you're going for Axia AV...
The variant structure is almost forcing you to get the AV. Even the SE is not a sincere enough package, omitting the lcd console and buttons on the steering.

I used to think Saga 2022 Premium S is way too expensive for an A-Segment car, until Axia AV 2023 is released.
Since waiting time is sooo long, why don't you Perodua let buyer having mix & match the item spec?
Production gonna be expensive
I canceled my loan sebab macam tak berbaloi amik axia baru ni.
Its actually quite surprising that theres no rear defroster on all variants.
This is a nice car no doubt, but tbh, it just lacks of practicality due to its space because it's a hatchback compared to Bezza, right now Bezza G (M) is currently the cheapest Perodua
For me personally I would pick the SE and AV variant the G and X is alright but could be better though
get a x spec and then put android player with 360 cam (rm 1500-1700), can tapao av alrdy.
this is some details video, everything is explained.great job Paul Tan team
my most recommended variants are se and av the base variant and x is good though good but still mediocre and could be better but it's okay
Really Nice, this is what a buyer's looking for spec comparison. Thanks 👍
Clear comparison. I guess the sweet spot for many will be the SE.
Are the gear ups like hood foam worth it or cheaper to get from 3rd party?
is there any news about the third national brand car DreamEDGE? Heard the rumors that they failed?
Please put time stamps for the video. I am sure viewers would love that when they want to re-watch the variant they want without scrolling through the whole video. Hehe. great Video! But the price... hmmm.
very clear comparison and detailed explanation Hafriz..Well done and keep it up.
Does the G spec have a button to retract the side mirrors? Like the older Axia
With that price, i rather buy a mazda 2 hatchback skyactive engine with twice of the horsepower + premium interior. Who cares its second hand or what hand atleast im getting my money worth + faster. Cash that is.
rm41k otr for kosong spec. Perodua pushing the limit. In South Korea you can get a basic car for RM15k onwards
To be honest. Axia SE is the well priced car and they're giving most of the important things that suit the price. Need to spend around rm300 to 400 to change to touchscreen 🤣

Can just get own tint job
Eventually, the tagline building car for people first will fade away...
Would it be nice if se version use 1.0 turbo
varian x tu dh cntik dh .tp meter plk xde RPM spoil btul kt situ
spoiler pun xde ea
Masalahnya tiada cover bawah Engine,,
Variant SE and AV should come with different rims more premium. Anyway love teh ais hook which is helpful to the passenger.
I'll go for the SE and later upgrade the head unit
Dah ada kat showroom?
i wud go for Axia X, most worth your RM
Axia mt klua lagi x
Conclusion...
Get X varaint... Or get AV variant...
Or get myvi
Very clear comparison for all variants, kudos paultan 👍

Tq....perfect preview & information....👍
Nice video comparison 👍 👌
But strangely & surprisingly, all Axia II variants no more rear defoggers, not like Axia I (except E & G)!
Color variants? 🤔
i think the least anyone should go is the X spec. also, how much money are they saving by omitting something as simple as a tachometer??
thank you for the very informative video. kudos
I bet most of these buyers will go for 9-year tenure loan, not much different between SE and AV for monthly installment, sometimes over 1 week you over spend on your meals or shopping also more than the amount.

The car looks promising but I wouldn't pay that much for a car that has less than 100Nm of torque
I will go for E
test the aircond on a hot day and let us know how it performs.
After watching this, I can't help but think that this is an expensive- cheap car, at least in my books anyway. Anyways, these are my opinions.
In the past, each higher variant are an upgrade. Now, each lower variant is a downgrade.
I will choose a se which is so much cheaper, already booked one
Mntap review, comprehensive 👍🏻👍🏻
Av model worth to buy
AV is defined worth it for the price
Finally without a mask!
I just wish that Perodua will get some new axia E aka driving school as soon as possible I think 🤔
Base model 38k equipment alang2 🤷🏻♂️
Perodua Axia G muka depan mcm bezza first model..
Is perodua still offer manual for this car
Soon after raya launching
Waiting so long... When can I get my car... All loans are already done
G variants probably a car i would see only in Driving School lol
SE.. booking done
se is the best option
man, what a bunch of downgrades for G spec :-(
no doubt, AV variant is the way to go.. yes, much more expensive, but u get alot more with it. for gear up, this is the best option, no need big and ugly body kits
1.0 engine with rm40k and above its pretty expensive..
Grab car newest model 👍🏻wow can't wait to booking😍
Not choosing one!!
go for X model .its small car only
Anyone in this comment feel the company just want our money but not provided good quality interior and exterior of the car ? because i feel if Rm 49k to get better features better i buy proton or toyata or honda or even the Bezza.
This video made me much more clear about axia pricing. At first I thought axia is dem expensive😂
I feel its overpriced.for a small car. Will eventually cannibalize sales of its elder brother the Myvi...
No more small car for us
Rim semua sama ke
Yep sama
Yes.
Yep
Ye sayang
oof
rear seat not comfortable. too upright
Nah... I won't. Saga Premium S more value for money.
Bulb taillights 🗿
Why give the boring look of the rim design? Everything seems like a steps backward
Big facepalm on base model of axia : No rev counter, major downgrade.
Simple, none of them. I'll stick on with a proper 1st world product (2nd hand) than a 3rd world product
Bye axia. Now now axia!
pheasant kar
A big disappointment for all variants..... Sigh
Chk sabah n swak prices. It's a joke axia!!!
Too expensive for one litre car. Don't buy, cutting throat
My myvi 1.5H monthly payment now cheaper than the axia for 7 years loan 🫣
