I would rather top up another RM1400 to get the 1.5X myvi. More spacious and power. The power difference is night and day between 1.5 vs 1.0 on the highway.
With that price...ppl that are looking for cheap car will now be looking at the saga. Whatever upgrades given were absolutely good. But as for b40, they will find saga friendlier to their pocket or looking at used axia/myvi instead. Indirectly, p2 has made axia to compete with their own myvi.
The car itself looks very good in my opinion, love the front looks of the car just the alloy wheels rim is a bit not to my liking that much. The interior looks very nice the dashboard is very modern as well glad the safety features like VSC and TRC are standard across the range
We had the first gen Axia that cute car is economical and practical. However I think this second gen is even better in terms of design and details. Well done Perodua!
For me its like mix feeling because i do love previous gen axia exterior design especially with those clear led tail lamps design plus projector headlight as a standard but for the interior design plus safety for sure this 2nd gen axia much better

the inside is what myvi should look like. Myvi got awesome exterior but quite meh interior. I am thinking to get my first car. Should i went with myvi H, Iriz active or axia Av. I already tried myvi gen 3 and iriz normal before. Love the iriz handling, wondering if axia got better handling as it use dnga platform.
The design actually reminds me of the Suzuki Ignis or Hyundai Casper. However, it is not on the same par yet in terms of character and styling. I personally dislike the design of Perodua Myvi when it was launched back then, it looks like a collage of many B-Segment Hatchbacks back then, but the Vehicle Sales Data is being presented otherwise. I'm just wondering how will it be specified for the entry-level variant.
Interior is ok but exterior can be better. Head lamp & front bumper,tail light & rear bumper need more fresh design. I beleived Ayla & Agya will much better exterior design when they launch in Indonesia
it looks very gorgeous but the interior is a huge upgrade i love this i can't wait when it's launched but despite didn't have apple carplay and android auto but it's fine because some of the alza headunit issues but i hope they can fix that with the facelifted version of the alza asap

The size is nearer to 3rd Gen Myvi compared to before. Actually the new Axia is not just longer & wider than old 1st gen Axia but this new axia is also longer & wider than 1st & 2nd Gen Myvi. I compared the length & width.
Axia or the previous model are well known as budget ,friendy pocket malaysian car and this is crucial for perodua to introduce new gen of axia at price range that ppl could afford it .. i mean if the price would be the same as saga for family car ppl would choose saga

Things just got lot better with the all new Axia but shame on the offered rims. It shares the same dreary looking rims for the entire variant unlike the old Axia. I must say, if the AV variant fitted with the Myvi AV or Axia Style’s rims.. the look gonna be so much better 😊
