All my car are small hatchback picanto 2016 and the all new celerio 2022. For fuel efficiency the celerio wins not even close although the displacement is lower compare to the spark and picanto. Tipid talaga pricy lang close to some Chinese brands na mas malaki pa for the price point.
Ps: I am using them alternately for medyo long drive and days with heavy traffic I mostly use celerio and para sa mga malling and gala lang within the city picanto and spark I have to say ang spark takes the cake for being na matulin same as picanto din, for the celerio just imagine you’re driving a multicab to be honest.

This will be quite long. But pls bear with me. I hope you find this educational and enlightening. Anyway ...
Fuel economy is dependent on so many things, even though they are compared among seemingly the same car category. Such things as: environment/road condition (they will not be always the same), payload, kilometers on the odometer (a 100km odo is a far cry from a 1000km odo), driving style, traffic conditions (even on a highway), to name a few.
Having said that, cars or their engines and transmission are designed differently. They have their own unique performance curves (an engg concept). This simply means that their optimum performance will be different, definitely not at 90kph or their equivalent rpm.
On a practical level, permit me to expound on two models that I have that are included in.your list: a 2017 mazda 2 and a 2023 Toyota wigo TRD S.
The mazda 2 is quote unique, maybe because of its skyactive engine. It has 2 peak performance (high mileage, low fuel consumption). One is at 80-90kph, the other at 100-110kph. Though the lower speed has a slightly higher peak. My best hiway consumption is 23km/li at 85-120kph.
The wigo's peak is between 60-75kph. Driving below 85kph gives me 27-28kph!
One is old (mazda) with 50k on the odo, while the new one (wigo) has 3k on the odo.
Clearly, one is designed for a different set of conditions than the other.
I hope your viewers can distinguish that. Thank you.

@@mar1ann8 so far, major replacement were the bushing after on its 5th year....and nothing else..even my battery motolite is on its 4th year..still one click start. So far no observable changes on its fuel economy...I guess..I can still make 14 km / liter based on EDSA traffic from Magallanes to Veterans Hospital. Th pnly downside but manageable is the under chasis due to non standards ridiculous road humps...I believe road humps inside a subdivision must be regulated.

Btw, I am using the manual variant....I'd used other manual cars before..but this manual version of hyundau accent hatch diesel ia somehow different...engine will not shutdown even if you are NOT stepping on the fuel pedal..even if you are going uphill...or...a rough road...it tends to speed up .if the engine sense slowing down due to obstacles...so as to prevent reving up of engines..you may need to shift neutral..I guess its part of the design...on why the unit is great on fuel economy.
