Sirin, Many thanks. I had recently made a bikini bottom with a lining and was feeling ok with it. Then a week later wanted to try your pattern. Your technique and pattern is spot on. I just unraveled the body of my first bikini bottom to redo with your crochet technique. Much better look and no lining needed. I can't wait to try your other patterns. In English the flat part that goes across the base of the knickers/bikini is called a gusset. Thank you for your tutorials. They are easy to follow💖

Hey! Just wondering, did the ribbed part at the top work as like elastic to keep the bottoms up?? I usually only make tie sides on my bikini bottoms, but I love this design! Wondering if I’ll need to add elastic somehow or if they stay up well enough?

Does the yarn stretch out when wet? If so, I will line it in the important areas.
I would think it wouldn't stretch out much if you use a mercerized cotton. Acrylic will stretch a little more.
But lining it sure couldn't hurt.

I had a hard time understanding your instructions and at times they were very confusing and I could NOT follow what You were saying! I really love this pattern out of all the ones I have seen but your instructions are NOT very clear, maybe if you had a Chart with stitches or measurements and stitch count at the end of each row, or if you had the written instructions we might be able to follow it a lot better and it would help others that are having the same problem as I am??? Just a suggestion to make it a lot easier to make this Bikini!
