Hi! For anyone who has a bigger cup size and a smaller rib cage... (I'm about a 32D), I started with 20 loops and used both loops to single crochet so it had a little less stretch and a little more structure. Worked a lot better than my first try with 18 loops and stretch :)) Thanks for the tutorial!
wow😯amazing! ive been in this world of crohet when im 12 years old😊 my mom is the one who teach me, now im 61 years old still learning of many style how to do and how to make it☺️😊❤️🥰🇵🇭
I love these comments..especially the ones about how easy the instructions and process are. Thank you @SirinsCrochet ❤. I can’t wait to send pics and comment on the wear. I’m making this for my cousin. It’s looking cute.
I just finished it and this is the best bikini top I've ever had since I always struggled with finding my size so I adjusted it and it came out so beautiful, thank u so much
This video was amazing Sirin, I'm a real beginner and your instructions were easy to follow and helped me create something I will wear all summer!! I made the back chain extra long so I can wrap it twice around my front and back tummy area to add a little more drama! THANK YOU!!
I'm not a beginner crochteter, but wow!! Your video taught me so much (hiding the tail, how to make tighter single crochets by doing a back stitch instead). I love it! Thank you so much
thank you so much for this video! I just finished my top and it is amazing. Thanks again. Please make sure that we can find the bottom part of this Bikini. I can't find it.
I just returned from a vaK in Mexico and these were everywhere. I can't wait to make several fro next year. Your tutorial is so so simple to follow. Thank you!!!
@@WairimuMurigi Wow you must be a pro! Do you think I should watch some additional tutorials on the technique or is this video enough? I've never tried crocheting...
wonderful tutorial that is explained so clearly. i used crochet thread to make my bikini and because u gave such clear instructions that can cater to different thread and yarn sizes, the result came out amazingly!!! really enjoyed this.
Beautiful top and easy to follow instructions! But I don’t quite understand how you shaped your cup before adding the trim. Would love more details on the steps that go between your demonstration of starting the cup, and then how you finish it, since I’ve never made a garment like this before
I have been wanting to learn how to make cups for a while this video was so simple and easy, do you have a video that shows how to add some crochet below the cup (if that makes sense) like an embelishment
I wish you would have explained or shown how you started the cord that was thick. I know you used two strands but I’m so confused/lost on how to start the doubled cord
Sirin, the bikini is beautiful &your instructions are super. I used to crochet many yrs ago & wanted now to help my granddaughter to crochet a bikini. She is only 11 & was wondering how to make her a bikini. Do you think this bikini pattern would work for little girls?
Heyy! what yarn do you recommend for bikinis/ things that will go underwater?? I keep hearing to use cotton but others say that holds the water so it is worse, others say acrylic is better or also polyester?
Hi Ana. Cotton is a good yarn for summer but it holds the water. You can use acrylic cotton blend yarns. They are more durable and you can dry them easily. You can use polyester too if you want.
I can't measure my recipient, but she's a size "A" cup. Would anyone know what the starting-chain lengths (cm or inches) of each generic cup size is? ie. Cups A, B, C etc. Thanks in advance.
@@QueLindaMay. I thought about measuring a bra. Tried to google it but no luck finding the under-bust to peak measurements. Will have to take my measuring tape to a shop to measure an A cup bra 🤭😁 Thank you for replying. I appreciate it.
@@opheliamaples you’re welcome! Just remember the number of your starting chain should be even, plus turning chain. By using measurements you can use any yarn weight you wish.
Hello just a question I put the 2 bralette cups together with no gap but it didn’t fit I’m guessing you must make the cups bigger because of this ? Thank you ..
hello, i love your work. i hope to be professional like you very soon. if you dont mind telling me. where did you get your silky yarn from? which store or website?
Thanks for sharing, Sirin. The bralette is beautifully done! Yarning under makes the stitch finer. I also love the cord. 😊 I hope you'd do a tutorial on how to make the it. Keep safe and stay well.🌷
@@SirinsCrochetHappy that you are preparing a cord tutorial. 🤗 My bralette is finished. I made a little variation in the design. The opening is in front. It only lacks the cord to complete it. ☺
Hello, I got lost in the second round where the 5 single crochets are, but on the other round you placed 3 single crochets, are all 3 in the same stitch? can you help me please 🙏
I just finished mine. I'm a beginner and your tutorial is very helpful. It was easy for me to follow. I also used your measurements and im happy that i get it right. Is it okay if i use your design when the time happens that i will sell my finished product? I will give credit to you also. 😊😊😊
Thank you so much this is so helpful! But how do we do the two strand crochet for the strings? It started with one but finished with two and not sure how to go about that

Measure the bra cup from the chest wall to the nipple. Make your starting chain equal to this distance. Use a bra if you can’t measure the recipient.
