Good bikini top pattern, not sure if I am brave enough to wear it at my age! Like how you changed colour. I would be worried the knots would work loose though.

How to avoid having a big hole in the first 5 double crochets?

I move down to 3 instead of 5 it reduces the size of the hole made, also make this stitches tighter

I realized she said to go through two strands of the chain instead of just one to avoid a big hole and it worked for me!!
