@@Bruno-Marcelo negativo. Vc está errado se permitia sim que os fiscais empurrassem o carro se ele estivesse em posição de risco e se o motor pegasse poderia seguir normalmente, assista o vídeo com a narração da Globo o Galvão fala claramente quando o carro pega que ele tem que virar e voltar sem cortar a chicane , durante a transmissão o Reginaldo Leme tb fala em punição por ter cortado a chicane. crazy things sound like : 🧖🏿♂️💎💍🌈🤳🏿 : “ thank you very much for your hard work guys, for believing in me blah blah blah 🤢🤢🤢🤮 as for Nelson , he spoke his mind
Ayrton was not a cold, calculating machine. On the contrary, he was a respectable man, due to his nobility of character, his great sensitivity and his honor.
however, on that weekend he had to be ruthless. throw a car and cause an accident, costs be damned. and Nelson exposed why... the politics of Balestre would f... him up again if he allowed '89 to go completely unanswered.
When I was about 4 years old, I saved up $8 to buy a die cast replica model of an F1 car from my local Post Office. I’m 37 now, and I only just identified it as Pique’s 1989 United Colors of Benetton Ford. I’m very grateful. At that time we had the final Grand Prix of the season in Adelaide, South Australia.
Nelson stood up for Senna and said that they fucked up last year with the ruling against him. the rest of the drivers agreed. the expression on Prosts face says it all. Prost took Senna out in 1989 then used his relationship with the president of the FIA to rob Senna of the title. Prost knew how to play the corrupt political side of F1
Senna did the exact same in the following years, but his fanboys purposedly relativize and bagatellize his disgusting manouveurs, just because he's dead. That's the harsh truth.
So was the whole grid. You think Senna was not selfish? He barred Warrick from entering Lotus and made the team choose him as #1 driver over De Angelis.
there is a huge difference between getting your opponent off the track and being disqualified from a race for political decisions, tell me in which case senna used political influence to disqualify someone who has won a race.
Eri in angelo . Non un uomo bello come il sole. Il suo sguardo era diverso. Lui era diverso. Con un cuore grandissimo. Grazie di tutto. Sarai sempre nel mio ❤️❣️🌹🙏
To all those who say that Piquet supported Senna, I say no, he was complicit with Balestre. The trick is for someone to bring up the subject, and since it is something that clearly no one would agree with, they change the rules again, so that Prost can win the race starting from the other side.
Yet another proof that Piquet wasnt another a*whole with a beef against ayrton. He was a loud mouth...BUT...he was 99% righ when said something. He was just a guy with no time for bs. He couldnt stand brazilian reporters pesting him over Ayrton, but he sure could see that they did a number on Senna in 88 over a stupid decision and when push comes to shove he was the only guy with balls to press the 'suits' against the wall. Nelson Piquet: love him or hate him, but he was one of a kind
The man is smart on words and straight to points wonder why he humiliated Hamilton and he is a 3 times WDC with narrow edge not in very superior car. He's certainly underappreciated
He had no hope of winning the championship anymore and was totally fucked mentally because of what happened at Suzuka. If they did not robbed him there, he would be much better mentally at the last race. Btw they robbed him in Estoril 1989 as well. A black flaged Mansel took him out and they did nothing. Balestre basically stole 1 win and 1 possible win from Ayrton in 1989.
@@alexandrecl4331 Mansell was given a one race ban for ignoring the flag. Senna had no answer for the Ferrari's at Estoril that day, no one took a win away from him, no need to exaggerate, but he did lose valuable points.
Things are changed when a man dies, but although in the case of the 1989 incident referred to here, Senna was not at fault, the ugly truth about his driving is that he could bend the rules when it suited him. Since the summer of 1994, Senna has been somehow canonised, if not deified. He was a wonderful driver and sublimely entertaining. But he also knew every trick on the book and was no stranger to playing dirty.
I would not say Senna was a dirty driver. He just put the other driver in a spot where they had to think "we are either going to crash or you are going to let me through'. He did give others racing room, that is the key, but they had to make that choice. I can attest, it works really well racing karts :)
And now in the 2020's, we got the British bias, clearly targeting Verstappen, Alonso and other non-Brits with their ridiculous punishments. Proving over and over again that the sport hasn't changed that much.
Piquet sometimes jokes and slander others, but he has a clear subjectivity and when he says what he has to say, he comes forward more clearly than anyone else. I want to see him interviewing the winner at the Brazilian Grand Prix again.
Piquet'in Ayrton Senna'ya desteğini samimi buluyorum.
The thing is that they wanted disqualify Senna no matter what he did. I mean even if he spin turned and went back to the circuit without going through the escape zone, they would start accusing him for the push start. Senna got trapped. He needed to pass Prost in the race cleanly.
The english speaking media was very biased aginst Senna...starting with Murray Walker and of course good old Balestre...the only fair commentator in those days was James Hunt. James appreciated Senna very very much.
Jackie Stewart too... it's impressive that someone who did a lot in the F1 politics (especially for safety advancements) never had a clue that it was about politics.
Absolute nonsense. Murray and Ayrton were on very good terms and respected each other greatly. Senna admitted to Walker that he only watched F1 highlights if they had Murray’s commentary, something which Murray himself classed as the greatest compliment anyone had ever paid him. The only time Walker ever spoke negatively about Ayrton was about his move on Prost in Japan 1990.
@@marcosneves9127 Senna finished 16 points behind Prost. He needed to win the last two races to overtake him in the standings. Even if you give him the win in Japan, he still doesn't have enough to beat Prost (76-69) because he DNFd in Australia all on his own. Simple really. Why do you think McLaren dropped the DQ appeal? Could it be because the results in Japan had no effect on the outcome of the championship?

Over done, sometimes rather inaccurate, poor acting from one dimensional characters, one sided while making EVERYONE around Senna seem to be a total ass, and what was with that way over done fake commentary. It started making me want it all to be over quickly.
I thought the 1st two episodes were very well done....great racing sequences, but as it moves on, it gets kind of generic and boring. Still worth watching later with the Senna, Prost rivalry. Really don't care about his sex life.

To be fair to Ayrton Senna, he could have easily better Prost on merit, but didn't wanna risk Prost playing the long game because he could would have lost. This was just payback to Prost for the previous year on track collision. I often wondered why Prost retired from F1 after getting his 4th title with Williams when he could be been the first to win 5-6 titles before Schumacher dominance.
In my opinion they didn't had to DQ Senna for this issue in '89 specialy when you see the reaction of the other drivers about this type of situation in this video one year later. BUT!! If you see the footage of the crash between Senna and Prost at Suzuka backthen in '89, you can clearly see when the marshalls pushed Senna back on track, from there he could make the first turn of the chicane! It's a shame he still choose to go straight and didn't fulfill the race distance by "cutting the chicane" and got DQ'ed for that. The should've known the rules, even how silly some may be! Senna went thru the escape road, where you have to zig zag your way thru, as there were those plastic blocks on the escape road. That is the track if you miss the chicane, and he followed protocol. He did the right thing in that situation in itself also he had already lost a lot of time with the crash with Prost. The FIA did Senna dirty that race. 1:03 Prost knew piquet was right..

Prost realising that his politics are about to haunt him.
Typical French behaviour
Wasn’t really his fault. He didn’t make the call.
1:35 You can see shame in Prost's eyes
Ayrton was not a cold, calculating machine. On the contrary, he was a respectable man, due to his nobility of character, his great sensitivity and his honor.
however, on that weekend he had to be ruthless. throw a car and cause an accident, costs be damned.
and Nelson exposed why... the politics of Balestre would f... him up again if he allowed '89 to go completely unanswered.
He was not a respectable man lol. He dated a child ffs
Piquet, great driver, amazing personality
One of the most underrated drivers in history.
In the Senna series on Netflix the scene in one of the episodes was almost identical.
And Senna didn't?
Senna did the exact same in the following years, but his fanboys purposedly relativize and bagatellize his disgusting manouveurs, just because he's dead. That's the harsh truth.
Yep, Prost was a selfish dick
So was the whole grid. You think Senna was not selfish? He barred Warrick from entering Lotus and made the team choose him as #1 driver over De Angelis.
there is a huge difference between getting your opponent off the track and being disqualified from a race for political decisions, tell me in which case senna used political influence to disqualify someone who has won a race.
In 12 years Verstappen will be in the same conversation as Senna and Schumacher, if not already.

Great spot
Agree 100%

Piquet, great man, great character!
Piquet and every other driver knew Ayrton got fucked over at the 1989 finale..
He got fucked in Japan but Senna's DNF in Australia meant the DQ had no affect on the championship.
But he also knew every trick on the book and was no stranger to playing dirty.
what are you smoking my dude?
Senna tenia sus propias reglas . Imola 1989 Prost no lo sabia. Desde Suzuka 1989 Prost puso sus reglas
Thanks for providing some context here for ppl who didn’t follow F1 back then! Eeesh
Gloria a te Ayrton
Piquet sometimes jokes and slander others, but he has a clear subjectivity and when he says what he has to say, he comes forward more clearly than anyone else. I want to see him interviewing the winner at the Brazilian Grand Prix again.
Bravo to Nelson. Respect for Ayrton. Shame on Prost.
Great driver, pure talent, especially under the rain, indeed. But how you can hit another driver at more that 240 km/h? It’s so clear.

A huevo hombre, a huevo.

He was aware of "the system" that was not realy supporting him against Prost. Every time i watch that video a can't stop myself screeming: TURN RIGHT, TURN RIGHT!
Even Piquet a year later said that, the penalty was BS.
He didn't turn right because his engine stalled, and he needed to get it running again, he couldn't turn right
