We hope you liked this experiment. Let's discuss it in the comments! :) Here is the video course we made! andyax.com/course/ And here is our new merch: www.vjus.no/merch Thanks to Artlist for sponsoring this video (affiliation link): tinyurl.com/4j2v4hmp
I love how you showed the actual process of thinking and editing a video.. sometimes I get frustrated just because two things didn't work out right away, but this made me reflect that editing and being creativ has to be _playing_ .
Lots of great tips here! I know this isn’t what the video is about but.. having the thumbnail be the first frame and seamlessly flowing into the intro is absolutely GENIUS when it auto plays in the feed. So smart.
Love so much seeing the thought process, I think most videos out there are about the "how" to "shoot day" or the technical "how" to edit but I wish there was more about the thought process for pre and post production as this.
Incredible how good it turned out. But it is all the years of knowledge that made it good. It is not like anybody can make stuff like this, you need to know how to tell a good story, do sound design, find the correct music and clips etc. You guys did an amazing job! I am very impressed :-)
I really enjoyed watching this episode, very inspiring, i respect the fact that you're sharing with us all tools you are using to create such beautiful commercials. Thank you so much.
This is great if I was the one editing such a commercial I would have skipped the sound effect part, there many things I would have overlooked such as the tone of the voice over. I always learn a new thing when watching this channel. Thank you for this video
Used Artlist for 3 years, and I liked it a lot! Unfortunately moved to another job so I don't have the same need for that amount of stock footage anymore. But I would go back to them if/when I need it.
Once gain... 👏👏👏 As a videographer or a videographer company it's hard to settle down to stock footage, but in the end the customers satisfaction is the end go, we commit a big part of our lives to get good enough at what we do but unfortunately sometimes our clients don't the time nor budget to get what they want, and if we can make the it look like they did in any ways we can I'm sure they will be happy enough to come back and work with you in future projects, great video guys I think sometimes we need to be remembered that the solution to a problem can be a few clicks aways, not a few $$$ .
Love the idea, this video and the ultimate deliverable. It's also great that you are using AI and all the tools available to creators today. It keeps us all relevant while moving forward.
Veramente interessante come si puo sfruttare la tecnologgia di questi tempi 👌 Unica cosa e, che si perde la parte piu bella di questo mestiere, quella di condividere una giornata di lavoro sul set, creando tutto il contenuto da se.
That AI voice over would have come in handy a week ago. But I ended up making my own voice over in the end and it came out fine lol. Love the video, amazing as always!
That was an amazing video. For a native English speaker the voice wasn't quite there yet, but maybe in a year or so it will be. Your channel really inspires me to make more content
Thanks. Yes, it was definitely the most challenging part. And it's interesting how both Morten and our clients didn't hear it was AI. As an experiment, it was interesting to test out. For our real work, we will stick with real voice over ;)
@@Andyax I decided to check out playHT, and their free option is not licensed for commercial use. I will also plan to stick with real voice actors, as it will help connect the audience to the human element. They will probably be quicker to give the intended performance as well. Thank you for highlighting the process! It gives me some ideas for creating spec videos to seek new clients.
This is good stuff, a great way to learn and teach the skills of creating true client work. You should be careful when you do montages thou. they tend to smell of stock footage almost no matter how well-shot they are. And my experience also says that when clients start paying they aren't as easy as your uncle to convince. But still, this is great work. /Styrbjörn, Swedish Motion
Cool to hear from you Styrbjörn! Yeah, the idea behind this video came when watching some of those TV commercials that mainly consists of montages and deep, almost poetic, voice overs.
This was such an inspiring and emotional video! I can't believe you were able to create something of this high quality in just one day. The cinematography and visual storytelling were absolutely breathtaking. And the voice acting was truly Oscar-worthy, I prefer your voice though 😍. Kudos to you for taking on such an ambitious challenge and succeeding beyond expectations. It's clear you have a real gift for movie magic. I can't wait to see what other creative feats you accomplish in future projects!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Now finished the video, and I think it's your story telling skills that made it work, but... The A.I. voice does not sound right at all. There's almost an autotune type effect and some rhythmical anomalies that would make me disconnect from it immediately. It's pretty obvious to me. Sorry... Still love you guys though.
Yeah, the auto tune effect was definitely there. They ended up using my voice for the publish. And as I wrote to davepac7: Yes, the voice over was definitely the most challenging part. That was a very cool experiment! I loved that your uncle appreciated it. You guys rock.
Incredible! Honest, direct, and encouraging us to embrace AI. I'm a filmmaker from Burkina-Faso based in the U.S

Thanks for this! I especially found the sound mixing section useful, as I never know whether to stick with mono or stereo. Great video, as always.
Super awesome, very inspiring!! Keep em coming ❤
Great video 👊🏾🩷Can you make a video about sound design or how to mix it ? Would really love it

@@Andyax let me check it! Thanks! i still love your studio make over videos such an inspiration
respect you guys, wow
Love seeing their reaction while watching, but I would suggest using 2 boxes so the youtube viewers see the entire frame of the commercial.
I’d also love to know how you created that intro - where you appear in the background behind the 2 of you 😀
I love your videos!!!

I was disappointed you didn't include a sound effect for the Eyes 😂
Also, I'll show some support and buy the $5 course 😅

the robotic voice over kills it for me, inflection is just dead - great use of the stock footage though
Everything looks and sounds good, but it's also incredibly generic and it lacks focus. As far as I'm concerned, the experiment is a "fail".
Theo Von AI voice???
Half way through... It was going great until you tried A.I. voices, but to me they sound obviously fake.
Now finished the video, and I think it's your story telling skills that made it work, but... The A.I. voice does not sound right at all.

@@Andyax 👍 It's easier to fool our eyes than our ears.
And you are really talented when it comes to music and sound!
