I spent a week behind the wheel of the 2016 Lexus GX 460 (www.lexus.com/m..., almost their biggest SUV (the LX is the biggest). With a 32-valve V8 and a sumptous interior for seven people, it's a great SUV. Here's a drive test and video review. You can read my full review next week on the Business Traveler website - www.businesstra...

nice car
Hi Sir. May I ask you about when turning is there any sound like others review saying it makes turn with little rack sound ( I worry) and if you own it how it drinking gas much or compare to X5 35i??? Thank you so much Sir
Hi there. I don't own it, this was a Lexus press vehicle they loan to me to do a review.
No, I did not hear any noises when turning. This was a new vehicle, with only 2,000 miles on it.
It drinks way, way too much gas!!! It has a big old-school V8 engine without much horsepower, so it's not worth the gas. I did a long road trip, it barely got 15mpg on highway driving.
Thanks for watching and please subscribe to my channel, I will have a review of the 2020 GX coming soon.
I bought the 2018 lexus gx last month, currently with 540 miles on it. And now with passengers inside the car it is already leaning to the right. I called my dealer and they said that it is normal to lean. Is this a KDSS problem? Or coil spring? For a $56000 luxury car it shouldnt be like this. I know this will be a safety issue if you are driving at 65 mph. lexus is not going to get my car fixed. i am really disappointed with this car.
did you ever get it fixed?
I would like to know if you had this issue resolved?
I’ve seen you comment this exact thing on many videos. What was your resolution?
Does it run on regular gas?
unfortunately Lexus recommends premium fuel. Of course you can use regular gas it's not going to hurt anything it's going to slightly lower performance. And as I said in my review the gas mileage on this was quite terrible.
@@FreddySherman is it. Mine gets 18-20 mpg depending on what brand gas. And I use 87. I get more mpg but paying for 93 is such a rip off depending where you go.
@@youtubecomments5951 That's interesting to hear that the mileage differs depending on the grade of fuel that you use. I'm trying to remember what I used on this trip because it was a few years ago I don't think I put premium in it I think I would have used regular or maybe mid-grade. I did a 1500 mile road trip and barely got 15 MPG over it. now that was with pretty aggressive driving without really trying to be economical.
Lexus went all out on the luxury. Too bad it's, imo, a terrible car outside of all the great features you'd expect for something at this price point.
I just can't deal with that terrible gas mileage. Even a huge Chevy Suburban can get 20+ MPG.
Get ready, I just reviewed the 2022 LX 600, review coming this weekend.
