BONUS INFO: Tingyun’s his BEST support generally, but for Bronya: her skill doesn’t buff the lightning lord, but it advances your action forward & buffs ult/skill + her ult does buff him & its dmg buff is huge so she generally more than makes up for it. also, being slower than jing yuan can help you move his action forward instantly after he attacks. Tingyun OP with jing yuan, but bronya’s also great. (i recorded this but clip got lost in editing somehow & didnt make it into the vid idk where it went lmao)

Literally nothing feels greater than reaching 6+ stacks on Jing Yuan and seeing Lightning Lord just rip. One of the most satisfying characters to play right now.

18:12 note that doing this on bronya does NOT buff the lightning lord with bronya's skill as jingyuan consumes the singular turn that the buff lasts for
Also also the extra turn counts toward other buffers’ (especially Tingyun’s) timed buff, sometimes making it expire right before Lightning lord, and generally make your skill point economy much worse
Yeah, although the extra action and huge dmg from her ult (which buffs lightning lord) & her skill buffing your ult/skill still make her insane with him imo
also: i recorded a clip saying this exact comment as a “negative synergy” (although she more than makes up for it) but i think it got lost in the editing, idk where it went lmao
yeah , she's still his second best support and can help him get 10 stacks of lightning lord easier. She's better paired with Seele though.

Great guide Mr.Zyonix,to add a little something, effect res is not the worst 4th substat because again if he gets frozen,imprisoned or anything,him and the lord go at the bottom of the action chain as soon as he takes turn to recover

I somehow got Jing on my very first pull of the banner and I've been using The Birth of the Self lightcone on him. Still have a ways to go before I finish the build but he's awesome so far.

I came here as a Jing Yuan main for 2 months to give a little tip. At Superimposition 3+ Geniuses Repose is a really great light cone. I actually prefer and recommend others to use it over the Seriousness of Breakfast, simply because of the consistent atk and cdmg buff throughout the battle. If you use Tingyun along with him (cause why wouldn't you?) I recommend equipping her with Planetary Rendezvous light cone at Superimposition 3+. She can give him up to 60%+ more lightning dmg bonus in the battle. I hit 1.2M dmg this way. Happy grinding guys.
Wait I thought planetary rendezvous increased the dmg of the wearer not the ally who’s dmg type is the same, does it not?
@@apeil7152 nope, it boost other ally who deals the same elemental type as the wearer. For example Tingyun with Planetary Rendezvous will increase the dmg of other lightning characters. Yukong as well to other imaginary allies in the team. But it also increases the wearer's dmg too, yes. It is really good if you use mono or 2 and more character with the same elemental type.

I watched a breakdown of speed vs atk boots. Basically with no buffs at all he eants at least 140 speed to lap the lighning lord so you can get 10 stacks. Not going speed boots would be a 6-8% damage loss. I think its good to have atk boots handy as well though for simulated universe and if you pair him with bronya. With Asta he only needs about 115 and with tingyun E1 he needs abiut 131 with a base of 99. So basically speed boots win except for in simulated universe or when paired with bronya. Problem with Bronya is that she benefits Seele eay more and bronyas skill does not buff Jings follow up dmg because the buff ends after he acts. This could potentially make space statio better for the atk% as well, not sure about this one but with the lack of the atk boots the atk buff from space station is less diluted.
personally running him with tingyun and so far i can say that energy regeneration on him for me is still very much needed
my tingyun isn't e6, so the regen from her ult is "only" 50 energy and i'm still lacking speed stats for him to be able to get in two turns before the lighting lord attacks so for now energy regen is just the safer option
but considering he gets a lot of free attack from traces and then adding tingyun on top of it, i think even with enough speed, energy regeneration is definitely a great option to make sure you consistently get 10 stacks on lightning lord

Worth noting that Sushang is absolutely cracked at E1 for Jing Yuan team too, with that skill point regeneration on a broken enemy.

@@twigz3214 they fill different roles in a team, you can't really say Welt, a debuffer, is better than Jing Yuan, a DPS, they do different things
@@arwenlostlorn6569 Because being a support that be slot in everywhere that does good dps, provides strong defensive utility, and gives a team damage buff is better than being a dps that's 15% better than E0 Serval and 12% worse than E6 Serval (in aoe, Jing is a bit better in pure single target of course). Supports are also just generally higher value overall, you can slot in 2 dps but they won't both be dps that want to constantly spam their skill.

I rerolled a few accounts to get him ( I already have a main account and a low spender, wanted a new ftp).... got him in the first 3 tickets (and Bronya as the 5 star guaranteed).
I also have one with him and Clara..but that's less fun.

I’m watching all the guides out of copium cuz I got him after 110 f2p tickets. All my stellar jade was used and all I got was an E6 match and jing yuan at the end. No sushang, no ting yun dupes, no new light cones and nothing left to pull on his light cone 😂

help, got 2 days left. already have gepard, Jing yuan and gepard. Shuld i try for his lightcone? his weapon banner is stacked with 4star LC, so i think that will be a huge boost for my account and i dont have other characters to anticipate in the near future. So should i go for it or save?
