A few things I’d like to clarify/make additional notes on: 1 - At Lv.80 I’d most likely go with a Crit DMG body since he gets nearly 20% crit rate from traces. 2- His Lightning Lord (Passive Talent) is mainly single target, hitting up to 10 times, which is why it’s still pretty impressive vs a single enemy. The “splash damage” that hits enemies next to the one targeted only takes 25% of the single target damage. 3- His Signature Light Cone makes an insane difference. At S1, Not only is it 36% Crit DMG and 18% Skill/Ultimate DMG, but a ridiculous 48% DMG bonus for follow-up attacks (Lightning Lord is a follow-up). I’m hesitant to even recommend him without his LC… Like, at all. 4- If you subscribe, your next summoning session will be exactly the same as if you hadn’t subscribed, but it would be kinda cool anyway :)
@Starmence That's a dumb way to look at it since every unit is a whale unit if they e6s5 them lol he's pretty good without his signature LC, but yes that LC is insanely good and probably the best one in the game for all erudition units, with or without follow up attacks
The interesting thing is that Seele is INSANE in single target situations but also does well in AOE situations because of her resurgence While Jing Yuan is the exact opposite- INSANE in AOE situations but also does well in single target situations
My team now is Just the fire MC,Natasha,Ting and seele,fire MC because the taunt makes the oponent atack her and the healer (basically making them get energy faster to use their specials) and then ting and seele carries,my E0 seele is doing around 15-20K damage on a crit,and i am still getting better geat for her
One thing about bronya in this team is that she doesnt really help jing yuan that much, since his skill hits like a wet noodle. I would most likely just run asta to buff jing yuans speed even more.
bronya can help with stacks, but thats about it. if you have no problem gaining stacks, cause your Jing is built well, bronya doesnt really go well with the team.
Agree, him with elation path is absolutely insane. I struggled to clear coclia before but now it’s a walk in the park. He’s going to be my main for a long time
I was actually shocked when he said he didn't need Jing Yuan. Now he is shocked Maybe turning off the auto play will help when you're trying to showcase a character.

Bro 💀occurrence domains can be insane with good rng some error code curios straight up increase the dmg a lot it’s good to go occurrence and transaction and encounter domains a few times
He isn’t wrong though, if you have good RNG, there is a certain occurrence event where you have the option of choosing between 2000 currency or all the blessings in your chosen path- I believe the event is called Rui Lei? I do agree with you when it comes to picking combat over occurrence, but I find doing occurrence at the end of the run to be and picking combat in the beginning to be better than just only picking combat.

He is extremely fun & satisfying to play, I’m glad I skipped seele and pulled for him, his light one was worth whaling for also cause the banner was extremely generous with 4 stars cones. I even got four 4-star cones on the 10 pull that brought his signature light one home 😂

I've got both Seele and Jing Yuan at E6R1. With all the Eidelons, they obviously perform much better than the E0 versions, but my relics are only mediocre at best. When F2P players reach lvl 80, have all the traces unlocked, and have had some time to optimise gear, they'll see the same thing I'm noticing now. Both characters actually perform quite similarly to each other, with Seele doing more single target damage but struggling to clear tougher adds, whereas Jing Yuan melts everything in a multi-add fight, but his damage drops off a bit against a single target. As nearly all bosses summon multiple waves of adds, it all balances out in the end. His skill and ultimate might seem weak at the moment, but when you gear up and level up the traces, the skill and ultimate both hit hard enough to one-shot annoying trash like the bomb mechs. So what tends to happen is Jing Yuan uses his skill and ultimate to clear out all the trash packs, maxes his lightning lord stacks to 10, then unloads everything on the boss. Combined with the earlier aoe damage, it all adds up to comparable damage as Seele. Overall, I'd say Seele is slightly better than him, but he significantly outperforms her against mechs (due to being lightning), and is perfect for wiping out annoying adds.
You have really great points there about the two of them. But after the 1.1 update if you manage to get Silver Wolf, you can pretty much add quantum weakness to any enemies if you’re running Seele with her.
He is on par with some hunt units on single target, and completely facerolls all other units on aoe. Unless you have a comp just around Clara targetting.
The Simulated Universe in not a good place to test charater especially for that "Path"(cant spell it) since that path is broken do if you need more damage in SU use 3 star card which makes ultimates folow-up attacks.

I randomly clicked this video mainly as background noise just doing stuff but when a looked over at the vtuber model to the voice I burst out laughing just the juxtaposition between the two got me
You have seen the path of Elation, you have foresaw its potential. With the right combination, you could destroy 50% of bosses hp, elation can heal, multiply damage, increase skill points, break weaknesses easily. Reject other paths, JOIN Aha and the path of Elation. PS: I heard Kafka also does follow up attacks as well.
i'd recomend not to use 5* relics to level up other relics and insted to salvage them. 5* give not much more exp compared to 4* plus you get relic remains from that, meaning you can later use it in synthesizer to create other sets
The problem is, as we're all trying to gear a minimum of 8 characters with full sets of lvl 15 gear (6 pieces total) the amount of relic exp you need is totally insane. My only regret so far in this game, is synthesising 8 times in an attempt to get a crit chest piece for Seele. That's a hell of a lot of relic exp all blown on nothing, when it could have been put to much better use for levelling up all my other relic sets. My recommendation is to farm relics to get a half decent set on your main characters, and fill in the boots/chest with 4* pieces if you can't get a good 5* to drop. Max as many of those relics as you can on your way up to lvl 80, then start relic farming like a maniac to get optimised sets (and then start synthesizing the trash). This is coming from a TB lvl 58 whale. And I still don't have a single character with a lvl 15 relic on every slot.

I got him really early and I literally started playing today. I am so happy! He was literally the last thing I needed to see to give HSR a go and now I’m glad I did. I might have no idea what I’m doing so far but hopefully I’ll understand what the hell is going on once I progress in the story lol.

I don’t think speed boots do much for him honestly imo. speed doesn’t really allow him to get more turns more often I’ve found, that really requires Action Foward. Rather I play him with units that can cause slow, like Welt and Dan Heng.
Speed boot do works best for him. With 121 speed, you'll get an additional turn on round 3 and 6. With 134 speed, you get an additional turn on round 0, 3 and 6.
between both genshin and this game, i've whaled a few times. He's the first character I did both the "Weapon" and eidolons/constellations on to max xD I'm dumb yes, but he feels so damn strong lol
To play Jing BoY properly make him enough speedy around 130+ so that he can stack 10 times faster than ur other team units. In SIM it is possible becoz of lots of enemy units lineup. But in normal scenario it is hard to gain 10 stack most of the time becoz lord already come n used up all the stack you gained. So to utilise his top notch potential one must have 10 stack and lots of enemies to gain stack and speed on Jing Boy.
I got him at 33 pity 50/50, then his LC at 23 and then HIM AGAIN at 77 pity, i spent like 13k-ish jades to get him E1S1, so my luck as F2P ends here and now
im 30 pulls away from pity but i have already grinded everything and all i want is him if i dont get him i might just quit the game tbh because even in genshin ive never wanted a character this badly before
i think the reason the elation path is so overpowered is because literally like 3 total units can benefit from it 😭 technically just 2 and its jing yuan and clara herta is just inefficient and himeko is..
I think going forward, you shouldnt use simulated universe to showcase characters. Cause it isnt indicative of the characters actual performance and isnt the actual end game content. Like you said, your Clara wasnt even built well and was dog walking enemies. Memory of chaos should be where people do showcases. As far as Jing goes, equally built, he still cant touch Seele and he takes way more investment. But if anything, he can be a good sub dps with her if youre against electric enemies. Cause just having his lighting lord in the action bar to break shields ever so often, is nice. I have Him AND his lightcone, but i still prefer Clara and Seele. But he is hot as fuck.
Perhaps show more of a manual showcase instead of going into auto, have you learn how to use his kit which is easy to understand, but in case of the people who don't read.
am i the only person who doesnt like autoplay or double speed? i get its quicker but it makes me feel less like im playing and immersed in the game, and more like im watching a cutscene, and im not even really controlling the characters.
I have seen so many people use different variations of the phrase "Jingyuan's ult (or skill) only did _______ damage, he is so weak" or that he is only good in simulated universe with elation buffs. But a huge portion of his damage is from Lightning lord, they just don't understand how he works. Also his traces give him a huge boost and a lot of people don't even have him fully leveled yet so it is too soon to make such judgements same goes for most other characters. I see him being like Fischl from Genshin, because it is like you have an extra attacker when you use them. Though he also suffers from being from a common element with other damage dealers currently, Seele's only elemental competition is Qingque and the next few quantums are supports though she is very strong but Jingyuan is also very strong people just see what they want to see or ignore a characters actual kit when making assumptions.
No, those people are right lol. His skill and Ult, hit like a wet noodle. He really only pops off with his LC. And every showcase youve seen on youtube, is in simulated universe. Like hes good, dont get me wrong, but those people are right. Theyre just underwhelmed.

Firstly, I haven't seen any showcases on youtube whether regular or simulated universe, I have him and was able to go further in memory of chaos because of him. I have just seen people online saying these things. Also, I said his main damage comes from Lightning Lord so when when people complain about his skill and ult not hitting hard it is because they are not his main source of damage and they don't understand his kit, that was my point. Yes his skill and ult are not great but they are not supposed to be his main source of damage they are a way to stack his lightning lord. They are wrong when they say he is weak while only talk about his ult and skill and ignoring what he actually brings to a team which is lightning lord that is what I said.
I've seen videos of Lightning Lord doing 630k+ so yeah he's broken. I'm still farming artifacts while just running him on crap artifacts and he's still doing crazy damage at lvl 60. I just wish the artifact grinding wasn't exactly as terrible as Genshins.

I PULL! then repeats the cycle" and also, recently I found some post that says JY has better single target attack than Seele which made me laugh.

I don’t think speed boots do much for him honestly imo. speed doesn’t really allow him to get more turns more often I’ve found, that really requires Action Foward. Rather I play him with units that can cause slow, like Welt and Dan Heng.
Speed boot do works best for him.
With 121 speed, you'll get an additional turn on round 3 and 6.
With 134 speed, you get an additional turn on round 0, 3 and 6.
Speed for him isn’t about extra turns. It’s about being able to go before the LL at 5 stacks or higher.

To play Jing BoY properly make him enough speedy around 130+ so that he can stack 10 times faster than ur other team units. In SIM it is possible becoz of lots of enemy units lineup. But in normal scenario it is hard to gain 10 stack most of the time becoz lord already come n used up all the stack you gained. So to utilise his top notch potential one must have 10 stack and lots of enemies to gain stack and speed on Jing Boy.

He will def be s tier electric unit for a long time, any other electric unit that can overpower him in breaking weakness will just b broken~

I think going forward, you shouldnt use simulated universe to showcase characters. Cause it isnt indicative of the characters actual performance and isnt the actual end game content. Like you said, your Clara wasnt even built well and was dog walking enemies. Memory of chaos should be where people do showcases.
As far as Jing goes, equally built, he still cant touch Seele and he takes way more investment. But if anything, he can be a good sub dps with her if youre against electric enemies. Cause just having his lighting lord in the action bar to break shields ever so often, is nice.
I have Him AND his lightcone, but i still prefer Clara and Seele. But he is hot as fuck.

I have seen so many people use different variations of the phrase "Jingyuan's ult (or skill) only did _______ damage, he is so weak" or that he is only good in simulated universe with elation buffs. But a huge portion of his damage is from Lightning lord, they just don't understand how he works. Also his traces give him a huge boost and a lot of people don't even have him fully leveled yet so it is too soon to make such judgements same goes for most other characters. I see him being like Fischl from Genshin, because it is like you have an extra attacker when you use them. Though he also suffers from being from a common element with other damage dealers currently, Seele's only elemental competition is Qingque and the next few quantums are supports though she is very strong but Jingyuan is also very strong people just see what they want to see or ignore a characters actual kit when making assumptions.
No, those people are right lol. His skill and Ult, hit like a wet noodle. He really only pops off with his LC. And every showcase youve seen on youtube, is in simulated universe. Like hes good, dont get me wrong, but those people are right. Theyre just underwhelmed.

Firstly, I haven't seen any showcases on youtube whether regular or simulated universe, I have him and was able to go further in memory of chaos because of him. I have just seen people online saying these things. Also, I said his main damage comes from Lightning Lord so when when people complain about his skill and ult not hitting hard it is because they are not his main source of damage and they don't understand his kit, that was my point. Yes his skill and ult are not great but they are not supposed to be his main source of damage they are a way to stack his lightning lord. They are wrong when they say he is weak while only talk about his ult and skill and ignoring what he actually brings to a team which is lightning lord that is what I said.
I've seen videos of Lightning Lord doing 630k+ so yeah he's broken. I'm still farming artifacts while just running him on crap artifacts and he's still doing crazy damage at lvl 60. I just wish the artifact grinding wasn't exactly as terrible as Genshins.
