So her E1 translation is wrong but actually had better effect on her kit...since she does not need to be the one killing and still gains energy for her burst.
I am also curious if the Nihility Defense shred LC, actually triggers her passive talent ...if she just does a Basic attack and puts a Defense shred "Debuff" on enemies from the Lightcone effect.
Will her basic attacks even proc the bonus energy gain talent passive?

She's pretty good to have vs Mara-Struck. But also vs self buffing bosses. A good shield breaker that helps Serval, Sampo and MC area attack more efficiently.

She’s good. But Silver Wolf is so op and aNihilates Pela. Kinda sad really.
@@MrChibblez ?????? pela is not going anywhere even with silvewolf. she is a 4* and this early in game its much easier to get her as not everyone can pull for SW. even more they serve different role. Silverwolf facilitates mono or duo element team to make good use of her while Pela is a good def shred support flexible in ANY composition. U can shred 45% of enemy DEF at talent 10 E5 which many people already have who pulled on Seele.
@@MrChibblezSW does not annihilate pela at all. As a matter of fact, SW has been so heavily nerfed that she’s only marginally better rn. Pela also has the advantage of having an actual AoE debuff unlike SW, who definitely has a stronger debuff for a single enemy. For a 4* star unit she’s actually pretty strong.
I’m actively losing count of the number of characters that are good and worth building
At the beginning of the game everyone is gonna seem good so I just focus on building my favorites... Which is everyone except Herta. (Nothing against Herta but I already built Pela,March and Gepard and I don't think a 4th ice character is gonna make my teams any better)

@M L He's not crap, just others out damage him a lot by being able to one shot everything, he's still viable in all content... Not everything you hear is true so don't spread things unless you did the research yourself
@M L plus, pre power creep is something all gacha games have to an extent in order to bring new content into the game. Of course, some games do this terribly and actually make all their old characters non-viable but I believe hoyoverse's power creep is based more around enemies and relics(equipment). If it was truly character based, hoyoverse would've already made better 5 stars than eula, ganyu, even bennett but they havent

@@thahirshibu5042 its in su world 5 and she gains a stack (2% more damage per stack) every time a character action or she shocks I think. took me like like 20 minutes on 2x speed to clear it and it was only thanks to bailu

@@thahirshibu5042 While fighting Kafka In World 5 She will drop bombs that apply a Shock DoT everytime that DoT procs she gains atk boost so try to dispel the debuff asap or kill Kafka quickly.
@@itsmantrasnot only her, every final boss in herta's simulator has it too. It stops ppl with full shield/heal build but no dmg pass the final stage. Cuz her dmg will increase overtime and she can one shot you when it's enough, whatever you have
On another note for teams,
she might be a must in a Blade team since other characters tend to buff atk but Blades scales with HP so having Def shread is the next best thing.

@@nakorang2694 honestly I’m super early in game still with uni really limiting my spare time so I’m not really farming relics at the moment but I know hp doesn’t hurt to have seems she can be a little squishy from time to time when my Natasha is mostly healing Blade
Although I would stick with building Pela according to the guide as that’s what I’m doing atm and it seems to be working fairly well for now
Pela is amazing AND best girl. If I'm unsure who to slot into 4th I tend to go Pela, and the buff removal has come in handy quite a bit. Also, in the story her dynamic between herself and the Trailblazer is hilarious.

what kind of enemies gets/provides buffs?
@dion elite enemies, mara-strucks, the golden antimatter legion enemy, some enemies can buff their teams attack and bosses buff themselves etc etc
I think a key thing to note with Pela is that a lot of her Traces focus on increasing her damage. That's nice and all, but in a world of limited resources you can absolutely skip all her damage traces.
She's amazing! I love Bluecrose!
I feel like Pela will really shine with Jing Yuan once he comes out. She'll be able to help him do even more damage across the entire enemy team and you don't have to worry about doubling up on Lightning unlike Tingyun. Also she just frees Tingyun up to be on another team like for instance doing Fragmented Memories.
Other than exploration doubling up on lightning isn’t a problem because you know weaknesses beforehand and if you’re using Jing Yuan it’d likely be against a lightning weak enemy. Plus supports are really there to support more than break toughness. Also Tingyun can give him energy to use ult more often so he can build more lightning lord stacks from it, most people agree she is his best support.
Popping in having Jing Yuan and Pela, I can say that her DEF shred with his aoe stacking is incredibly nice.

So helpful! I actually did not think of the Wind Relic whatsoever but seeing it, it makes sense.
I've been using Pela on my team. She's great. My only real complaint is that her animations don't feel impactful. Sometimes I press the button and don't even notice her attack attack animation went off. I wish she'd have done something other than tap her tablet for her attack and skill.
Her Ult is sick though, especially the first shot

Pela is my MVP so far. You can slot her in with any comps and she'll contribute. Also her catalyst book + gundam wings gun thingy look sick.

I think another option right now for the lightcone can be the silverwolf event lightcone,it can bring a massive effect hit rate and also regenerate energy faster(it can be a good option if you don't have silverwolf)

I have SW for a while but I tried this team and been using it in MoC. Even with unbuilt Pela, Seele damage goes insane. This is why I am here trying to see the best Pela build.
I've run both a Seele hypercarry setup and the Clara + March setup, and Pela has worked great in both. Super useful unit with a kit most groups can benefit from.
I'm already pretty spread thin on my investments but Pela is on my backburner for sure. Such a useful kit, thanks for the guide.
Thanks so much Brax!! 🥰🥰🥰 I'm maining Pela, and she's really helpful for always debuffing those enemies I hate. She's also my favorite Ice character. I understand how valuable her skills are for several reasons. Freeze enemies+Debuff any enemies+Def shred any enemies. Combined with my Bailu, both are great support characters. Just needed to have high damage characters.

This is such good timing! I pulled Seele but didn't have Tingyun or Bronya, so I wasn't sure if Pela was any good (I had been running Nat, Fire MC, and 7 and it seemed like defensive overkill). You've convinced me to give her a shot
A timely guide, since I have an E5 Pela and started using her because of this.
Currently running Seele, Tingyun, Pela & Natasha as my main team and love the ease of clearing anything with how quick Pela gets her ult up

@@Cycleklos If your natasha is really good built you dont usually need a tank, except if you are facing against really tough bosses
@@tigrex7403 they are not kidding about having to need a MAXED OUT healer don't they... Currently I mostly use seele, tingyun, bailu, gepard or pela since I can't rlly live long enough and my seele can't kill the enemy fast enough :(

I see a lot of people saying you should not invest in more than a few characters early on because of how hard it will be to level all of them up. But from what you are saying (and my experience in game) it seems better to invest early to see which characters you like, because it gets too expensive to do that later. If I had not invested in Pela I would have lost out on one of the most powerful characters in the game! Most videos do not rate her highly (that will change with time) so getting copies of her while pulling for Seele (and I failed so far) was actually good for my account.
I suggest people invest in different characters early on (until that character is level 30 or 40) to see if they work well for you. And experiment with building different teams to see who is good with who. You will even get a couple of standard pulls for leveling them, even if you do end up not using them.

Maybe I really should not invest in too many characters but I do nevertheless. At the moment there aren't that many characters in the game and because of that I find it quite "easy" to level all of my favorites at the same time. I could never do this in Genshin because I started the game too late when there were already so many characters. Of course it's getting harder with higher levels/traces but at the moment I manage quiet good with MC (both), Dan Heng, Gepard, Natasha, Asta, Serval, Tingyun and Pela, so basically nine characters. That's insane but hey. 😅

Don't worry, I got her early but she's kind of low value in early game anyway, since her buff is limited by her own attack. She'll be on Jing's banner and by that point everyone will want and need her!
I run her the cone "Good Night and Sleep Well" and she hits like a truck, especially if other teammates debuff. Since her ult debuffs, you are guaranteed 1 stack. Get other stacks from teammates.. it is a lot! :)

there's also a good silver wolf 4 star lightcone that was obtainable in an event 2 months ago which is amazing for pela! effect hit rate 40% and it regenerates 8 energy when an enemy is debuffed

I felt that no Tingyun pain as well.... Anyways great video as always. I always run Pela with Yanqing, where she debuffs the mara-struck, and Yanqing will sweep.

I've been subbing Pela in when I need ice break or buff removal, and she's really helpful. Especially against those damn revive guys!
i wont lie when i say im really confused on her ice break damage tho its been extremly sub par barely making a scratch for me i even have her leveled up to were im at and finished as much of her traces thats currently possible for my level her ult tho is wonderful lol
@@noyukikun As far as I can tell, her breaking capability is fairly average. Since the rest of her kit is useful, tho, it makes her a good option to fill in for coverage.
I was rolling for Seele and got Pela to E4. So I now have supporting artillery fire for whatever team comp.

i pair Asta with Herta, they can clear minions in first round. Support with healer + trailblazer (fire) for defense
She so reminds me of Mari from Grandchase with the ice element built her as my 8th member in my top two teams since the aesthetics look cool and her ult + def reduction really helps hehe! ❄❄🍀🍀💙💙

i actually use yanqing, march & pela on the same team in the forgotten hall (with ice enemy weakness).. 1 more slot is either filled by natasha, serval or tingyun

I am re-watching this video as the new planar sets have been out for quite some time, and the Broken Keel seems tempting. Effect RES and a Crit DMG buff look good to me as I always team her up with Yanqing (so the fact that CDMG buff is not effective with DoT characters does not affect me). I understand that I'd need some effect RES substats on my relics to fully use this set, but is it an improvement to Pan-Galactic set?
I have Pela E3, but i already focused on building other characters. Maybe I will return to her when I will get resource reserve. I will be just waiting for Silver wolf for now. I feel that she will be very good debuff unit
She's one of my best built characters so far since I got Welt's cone from Seele's banner + she's cute
She definitely helps with those DOST chest fights who always heal to full when their buff is active.

My team comp is composed of pela Natasha Seele and Bronya. Its hard taking Bronya off the team and Pela is super valuable but the both support Seele very well
I have yanqing from beginner pull. But i might want to build pela in the future. Mainly her utility, her synergy with seele and the fact sometimes you want to prioritize other element break instead of ice, because sometimes yanqing shreds bar way too much, and its sometimes waste element break to an enemy that is immune to frozen.
@yaaaan I don't build him for breaks. It doesn't help that i got a bunch Break Effect substat at his current gear. also yanqing demands heavy investment in good gear since for some reason 2 of 3 of his addittonal passive doesn't help with dealing damage, so right now i mainly used him as a sub DPS besides Seele in when ice weakness enemy comes around. I still need to farm 2 separate DPS set, and right now i prioritize Seele.
She has the same VA as Altina so that immediately compelled me to build her ( that and the dupes I kept getting )
I can’t wait for the day that they add a shielder or healer unit that can also buff Allies dmg on base kit! Will open up more room in the party for other Buffin units
Just by getting a gaze on pela's artwork it reminded me of sucrose instantly, believe me. I love those nerdy glasses and her sharp look of eye on the burst animation

I prefer the Thief of Shooting Meteor set for her. Advance forward skill can still be available in light cones and other support characters like bronya or light cone skills from harmony characters

PELA MY BEST GIRL. im building her as my main dps despite having seele since i didnt stop pulling in her banner till i got e6 pela even after getting seele first
I find the thief set is actually pretty good for pela too because none of the sets really fit her like a glove, and the game throws thief set pieces at you from all the chests like candy, so you're actually fairly likely to have pieces with much better rolls on them than you would on other sets you have to go out of your way to farm for only for set bonuses that aren't THAT good (for pela). The break damage isn't amazing but it's actually not too shabby.
Actually that's kind of a gripe of mine with this game. From the beginning all the way to the end, the ONLY relic pieces the game EVER gives you in the mainstory/outside world/main quest/etc are effing thief and musketeer.. blah.
I was fortunate to hit E4 with her. My thought is to run an ice comp for yanqing, if only I had Gepard. But Pela, Yangqin, Gepard and flex spot. But till I get gepard I will proably try March with Natasha to keep the team alive. The other option is tingyun, no Bronya for me. I am build to many other units first though, can't wait till I can finally build Pela to try her out myself. It takes a while to get a unit built.
Silver Wolf's event cone makes her be able to ult->auto->auto-ult to come up with no skill use (if you're not running ice as a main dps, then her skill ice res-is sooooo good) for battery purposes :D
I honestly think eyes of the prey is her best option right now. The extra hit rate just makes her so much more consistent overall and her defense shred is fine enough as-is. This may be because I haven't tested all the content in the game yet, but as far as bosses and simulated universe goes the stacking of defense shreds doesn't really contribute as much as having a unit like Asta or Tingyun to buff teammates. My current team that I run for basically everything is Sushang/fire Trailblazer, Silver Wolf, Pela, and a 4th that swaps between March 7th, Asta, and Natasha depending on the content. The buffs when active just seem to be a lot more impactful than the extra shred, so I don't even bother with pearls of sweat as an option for her light cone.
Been running Yanqing + Pela + fire MC + Bilu to clear a lot of content. Like with blessing with remembrance, I was able to clear worlds 3 and 4 level 2 at level 50s. That's level 50 vs 65+. Crazy team
A team where I'm planning to play pela with is sampoo serval bailu, in general pela is good in dot teams
I'd like to add that Pela's E1 has been changed from "when Pela defeats an enemy" to "when an enemy is defeated" I'm unsure if that's a typo or an actual buff to her E1 but I just wanna put it out there
I really like her but I have Gepard so I dont NEED ice as much as I might need Asta. But I'll definitely use her in the future

Seele banner definitely gave me E5 Pela and a R5 Good Night cone. Built the cone for Welt but I'll eventually give it to Pela when I decide to build her. Seele banner gave me E5 Natasha, E4 Hook, and E5 Pela. Minor spooks like Herta and Sushang but those three got the most out of rate up.

After I got Pela 9th time I decided I can switch my traiblazer with her and damn my Yanqing deals such a pretty dmg I almost got a heart attack after I saw it

I’m using HP sphere on 2pc Belobog. I have enough EHR for her to get the 30% Def while also 43% HP so I don’t have to babysit her

I just got to trailblaze level 40, so I've got too many characters to level right now, but Pela is like number 4 or 5 on the list.

yeah so funny thing, i wanted natasha eidolons, and kept getting pela so here i am
Praying e6(at e5 rn) comes while I hit keep rolling for Seele.
While pulling for Seele I got Pela to E5. I can't stress this enough: She turns into an Ultimate-spamming-monster. She has her ultimate ready pretty much all the time, which means every enemy has its defence lowered by 37 % permanently (which goes up even further with higher level traces).
I'm running her "Good night and sleep well" lightcone and she even crits for a ton with a decent Musketeer's Wild Wheat set.
I mean buffing up Seele seems like the way to go, but at this time, Pela is definitely a great option to use.

I did the try with to teams
First team : Seele, Bronya, Tygjin (idk how write), Bailu
My max Ultimate score vs normal elite enemies was between 40-50k
Second team: Seele, Bronya, Pela, Baily
My max Ultimate score increased to 60-70k on same enemies (and i don't even hav pele fully builded, just using her ultimate)
Can't wait to put Silver Wolf on her place
Would you recommend the new silver wolf 4 stat light cone for pela? Since it gives like 40% effect rate fully super imposed because they give free superimpositions?

Also, she gasps every time she casts her skill, which is... *nice*
