Yes, the reversed 2 fingers in the UK is pretty much the same as the standard middle finger.

Rat Race! Dead in a Week (or your money back). Get Hard. Johnny English (1, 2, & 3). Johnny Dangerously! RED (1 & 2). Sgt Bilko. Airplane. Iron Sky. The Naked Gun (1, 2, & 3), Me Myself and Irene. Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Monty Python: The Life of Brian. (Comedies)
12 Angry Men. Con Air. Edge of Tomorrow. Escape Plan. In Time. Journey to the West. Kingsman: The Secret Service. Looper. Lucy. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009, not 2011). V for Vendetta. The Grand Budapest Hotel. The Martian. Inglorious Basterds. Django Unchained. The Truman Show. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy is iconic. Nimona. The Matrix.
For series: Good Omens is excellent, Inside Man is a short series that's incredible. Painkiller is a docuseries which evokes intense emotion, along with "Don't F#%k with cats". Breaking Bad seems to be very popular. Futurama is an excellent animated series. Avenue 5 was an enjoyable series, but seemed to end relatively abruptly after season 2.
Also Kung Fury is an absolute meme movie.
I hope these give some ideas!

The two finger gesture supposedly dates back to the 100 years war between England and France when the French promised to cut off the two fingers English archers used to grip their arrows when drawing a longbow. The English won all the main battles hence the gesture to their enemies. In crude terms it means ‘F**k off!’ The gesture though may be much older dating back to Roman times!

You might not have remembered his name, but it sounds like you correctly identified the swan guy. Steven Merchant has spent a lot of time hanging around with Ricky and Karl.

@@kimmycupreacts Yes, that gesture is the equivalent of the middle finger, it is supposedly from the 100years war between England and France. The English and Welsh longbowmen were feared by the French, who would cut those two fingers off a captured bowman, leaving him unable to draw a bow. So before a battle the bowmen would line up and wave those two fingers at the French, showing they were ready to rock and roll.
