I enjoyed your reaction from South East London and I have Subscribed. :) The amazing thing is, after watching many reactions to this,,is that, virtually,no second is wasted as each line is, either,a joke,or leads to something later,a phrase that I have learned from this called "Foreshadowing". An absolutely top-drawer cast featuring "P.I.S. Taker=Stephen Merchant" Co-Creator and writing Partner of "The Office" with Ricky Gervais and now worth $180,000,000. Martin Freeman was in The UK Office and then became famous as "Sherlock" and many other roles. He was the Policeman telling Nicolas to go to the Country. Olivia Colman: Oscar Winner. Tim Dalton=James Bond etc..

As others have said, The World’s End is the last in the Cornetto trilogy. It’s great. Other Edgar Wright movies are Baby Driver and Last Night In Soho. Both awesome. But the 2 series, 12 episode late-1990s comedy Spaced is where Wright, Pegg, Frost and Nira Parks (producer) really began their unique style of comedy. Co-written by Jessica Stevenson (neé Haynes) who also stars in it.

A while ago you posted a video about possible consequences to Disney from Elon Musk offering to fund lawsuits for people wrongfully terminated over Tweets. Well, Gina Carano just filed on Disney with Elon's backing. Plus Elon and an investor named Nelson Peltz are buying Disney stock, presumably in an effort to force changes to their board of directors. RIP Bob Iger & Kathleen Kennedy 😉

The blocking and camara shots are amazing there' isnt one dull moment, the pacing and transition from scene to scene are extraordinary!... And of course the script and acting are also great, filled with referances that makes this an amazing movie!... Great Watch great reaction!...
Part of the "Cornetto Trilogy" or "Three Flavours Cornetto” just because they at certain point of the 3 movies always go for a cornetto of a certain flavor in each movie! Strawberry Cornetto in "Shaun of the Dead", here in "Hot Fuzz" they go for a Classico Cornetto flavor, and in "The World's End" someone tastes a Mint Cornetto. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost and all the cast are always recurring cast that shows up in the 3 movies, which makes it unique!

The 'Santa Clause' that stabbed Sargent Angel was Peter Jackson. His ex-girlfriend was Cate Blanchett. When the head of the NWA is about to die, his last words are the same as his last words in the original Wicker Man. The twins announced at the NWA 'meeting' are named Martin and Roger, the names of the lead characters from Lethal Weapon, the music from whose trailer is used when they jump the hedge to escape the bomb.

"My, my, here come the Fuzz."
Fun Fact: When in costume, Nick Frost and Simon Pegg often were assumed to be police officers. Many strangers asked them for directions, and instead of telling the truth they went along with it.
Cameos Cameos Fact: Nicholas' ex-girlfriend Jeanine at the crime scene is Cate Blanchett. The Santa that stabs Nicholas is Peter Jackson. P. I. Staker is Stephen Merchant, best known in America as the voice of Wheatley in Portal 2 (2011). The judges for the Best Kept Village competition near the end of the film are played by Peter Wild and the mothers of Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg.
Actor's Actor Fact: The filming of Angel and Skinner's first meeting at the supermarket was filmed over the course of two days. The conversation was filmed entirely from Timothy Dalton's perspective first. The next day, early in the morning, they were to film the conversation with Angel's perspective and close-ups. Dalton, much to the surprise of the crew, showed up early the next morning, and even though he wasn't going to be on camera for that particular portion of the filming, he sat off-camera in Skinner's chair and played the role so that Simon Pegg would be able to have him to work with while filming his part as Angel. Pegg stated it really showed Dalton's professionalism.

It's a great movie on its own, with Wright's own style (which he honed in TV with Pegg/Frost on Spaced) but then us old timers love the nods and winks at all those other old classics.
Edgar Wright makes movies like Tarantino does, referencing all his favourite films, and like Tarantino he managed to get the cast to do some of the references here. Edward Woodward was the out of town cop investigating a cult in The Whicker Man, which Hot Fuzz owes most of its concept to (he was also the original Equaliser in US TV). Dalton obviously makes some Bond references, and loads of scenes refefence other movies, like the flying through the air sideways, shooting with both hands (just watch the trailer for Hard Boiled), getting impaled outside a church (The Omen) and obviously the Point Break/Bad Boys 2 stuff. It's endless. Love it.

It’s been a while since I’ve been around the country and I’m not sure if it’s still the case, but I think model villages were reasonably common tourist type attractions in various villages and such… I’m not sure how common they are these days or were even in the past, but I do associate model villages with some of the smaller towns and villages in England… They may also be in other parts of the UK, but I’ve barely been to Scotland… I feel like I might have seen one in Wales at some point… I’m pretty sure they existed in England anyway… For some reason it feels right to me that they had a model village… Also a castle lol.
This film has so many great callbacks too… Watch it a few times and you’ll catch all sorts of fun foreshadowing… Such a great movie.

The amazing thing is, after watching many reactions to this,,is that, virtually,no second is wasted as each line is, either,a joke, or leads to something later, a phrase that I have learned from this called "Foreshadowing". Tim Dalton = James Bond etc.. The more I see this the lore I pick up earlier jokes that I missed:)

Out of the three films of the Blood and Ice Cream Cornetto Trilogy, this one remains the best movie in my opinion - curiously, which one is actually my favorite tends to shift as I get older. Originally, I loved Shaun of the Dead when it came out, but felt it was eclipsed by the tighter writing and performances in Hot Fuzz and actually kind of felt disappointed by the final film, The World's End...but now, though I will still say that Hot Fuzz has the best writing of the three movies, The World's End might actually be my favorite of the films.

Literally every moment is either foreshadowing or pay off, so that speaks to near perfect writing and directing. Then you have the cast that would be insulted by being described S-Tier. I'm not sure American's understand the calliber of actors that were brought in for this. And them some fucking rock star named Chris Dickens took all of that footage and made even the editing tell a story. Like, what more could you possibly ask for in a movie?

Loved your reaction to this (first time finding your channel) - Since you enjoyed and appreciated 'Shaun of the Dead' and 'Hot Fuzz', then I guess you'll have already been prompted to watch 'The World's End' too. But might I strongly recommend that you also check out the British TV sitcom 'Spaced' (1999-2001), which was a precursor to Shaun and Fuzz (its third episode was actually the principal inspiration for making Shaun Of The Dead in the first place). It's chock-full of TV and movie references (although most of the TV references are quintessentially British ones), and the humour is very much the same, being ostensibly the same creative core who went on to produce the 'Cornetto Trilogy' films (Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost). Jessica Hynes (née Stephenson), who cameo'd in Shaun, co-wrote and co-starred with Simon Pegg, and it's quite simply comedy "fried gold". Okay, so I'm perhaps a little biased, but watching the gang evolve from cult TV comedy to global, big screen mega-success over a relatively short span of years was nothing short of glorious.
