Hi Colin, love your videos and the respect you have towards what you find, I also understand that as a petrol-head you get excited about cars etc, but as a retired electrician I get frustrated in your videos when you skip details like old radios, tv's, light switches/fittings,appliances, stereo's, etc, you have an uncanny talent of finding these wonderful untouched places, that take us "oldies" back to our younger days, but you inadvertently skip the bit's that we're interested in, all I ask of your superb video's is, please show more close-ups of electrical things, radios, tv's, appliances, light switches/fittings etc, these things have changed so much over the years, and one just doesn't see them anymore, I've often found myself taken back to my younger days through your videos, and thoroughly them, (how time's have changed), keep up the good work, this message is not a moan, just a point of view that hopefully will help your channel grow 😊.
First of all, of course these are great videos with a clear respect in everything they touch, hope in next one you can open all those toolbox that appear in different places.
Hi Colin what an awesome find, especially as it's not been trashed/vandalised. I love how your so respectful of the homeowners things and that you don't go pulling everything out of boxes etc, but I do love how other explorers leave the photos etc all out so when others come in they are displayed so we can see who may have been living there. A great video thank you 😃👌
A fascinating video. It’s great that this property hasn’t been trashed . It’s a real time warp place. It’s sad to see it abandoned like that. I always wonder about the back stories of these abandoned properties. It’s often in very sad or tragic circumstances that houses are left abandoned. I suspect that in this case, elderly people lived in this house and perhaps, they passed away, with no family,to inherit the house. It obviously hasn’t been lived in for a long time. Thanks for showing us round.
Awwwwww a lovely cute house. Soo sad some things have been left in here, I hope nobody goes in there and trashes this place. Another lovely video Colin, happy new year.
Hi Colin & Ben. Hope your doing good. That was an awesome video. I love those green chairs and couch in the living room, cool retro look. I loved the fireplaces too. So much beautiful woodwork in that home. Hope you two have a very Happy and safe New Year. Stay safe and take care.
Life is so precious and your videos always shows this. A sweet place filled with memories. Its amazing how many place's there are. Thanks for showing this to us.
Hi colin' Looking what's in the video! Wheelie bins were introduced in 1968 and the tea bags end of date 2008! This property might of been empty between these years.
Another great Location, and Upload, Colin. Makes you wonder about the nature of their departure from the Premises. A very Happy New Year to you and your Family.
The walking stick hanging in the hall brought tears to my eyes. Have just finished clearing my Dad’s bungalow and his walking stick is now hanging in my hall.
Always sketchy each time you enter a room one of these days Colin there be a body or someone sitting on a chair gives me the hebie jebbies just the thoughts about it 😮😮😮
I used to watch a couple on UA-cam here in the UK who looked all round an ‘abandoned’ house and in the last bedroom they looked round then on the way out a pile of rags on the bed started to talk to them in a low voice it was a little old lady who used to help the owners as they were elderly and they passed away. This old lady had been made homeless and was staying there as she was too old to sleep out on the street but she got ill and had been laying on the bed cold and hungry and she had just pulled a pile of clothes over her to try and keep warm. She hadn’t eaten in days and expected to die there but this couple got her some food and bottles of water called an ambulance and contacted the council to get help for this little old lady. But what a shock they got to find her and then to help her it was surreal in its way. The couple kept in touch with hospital etc and told how she was getting on etc .
The frying pan was very clean as well that's a tad strange 😊 The Hummel ornaments in the box are worth a bit of money. They are fairly expensive to buy, some people collect them.
What a lovely little house. So sad it's been left to rot. Watch your step there Colin, you don't know what's underneath your foot. Pity. A very Happy NewYear to you and your family. How's Lily? ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
hiya Colin, loving your videos especially the abandoned houses. That little train is from the 1940/50s. Keep up the great work and look forward to your next one.
The house hasn’t been lived in for a long time, but somebody’s been going there. The frying pan on the stove doesn’t have not any dust at all in it and as you pointed out there was new items left in there so somebody’s been going whether it’s squatters or something but somebody’s been going in the house.
Hi Colin good video again mate it is good to see these places untouched and not just wrecked I would say no one has been there for a long time too. Any news on the bearded restorer Chanel yet how’s it coming along?
Only a few actually do research but most of them don't. If it were me I would because I'd like to know who they were and what happened that they left or had to leave. If I were homeless I'd stay in one for a little while just tobe out of the elements. As long as it's cleaned not damaged or trashed or anything.
Makes me always think what happened to the ppl who lived there. It seems like some stuff were being ready for moving, and then it all stopped.Maybe they are deceased. Thank you for creating these videos. Happy new year :)
I love every video you do thank u yet again for a great year watching from the United Kingdom keep up the hard work would be a dream to come with u in a vid 😊
Happy New Year, great place, I’m like yourself it’s so sad when you see family photos, there looked some great memories, are you doing any more paranormal exploring in the new year 😊
Hi Colin, That was a nice explore but i wonder where the family are ? Surely there must be somone paying the water and electric bills ? All the best and have a fantastic New Year my freind 🤜🤛
Regarding the Lumar lines toy train you found, the company that produces them, Marx, filed for bankruptcy and went out of business in the late 70s. Business wouldn’t have been booming by their end however so it’s likely that the train you found was from the 60s. Shame it’s broken, you can sell those for a good hundred bucks now if they’re in good condition. Another interesting thing to note, This couple/person was quite talented at dancing shown by all the trophies they won for it. The O.T.D.A trophy from 1963 is from the Orkney Traditional Dancing Association, really gives an insight into what these people may have been like.
hi colin well done of giving autoalex the bx who would have thought it make it all the way back to its birth place i got to admit german and french know how to build a engine same as nissan well done mate :).
Love your content Colin but i have a question. Ive noticed in some of the houses you have entered as well as those in other 'Urbex' users videos some stuff seems staged. In this case the toys on the bed and the photos. Now i know youve not done this Colin but is it something other explorers have done??...who leaves photos etc out like that in an abandoned house...curious 🤔
Hi Colin another great video, really sad as you say when you see all those photos and personal stuff. You can see it must have been a nice family home.Great commentary as usual Colin really adds to the whole video.Happy New Year to you all, look forward already to next weeks.Take care.😃
When i saw those green chairs in the main seating room, i reconized that house from another explorer who does abandoned houses, called Adam Mark Explorers, seen that house before maybe a few months, gd video mann
I'm so confused. Do you not have councils, land tax and utilities in the UK? how has the water company and power company not turned them off? surely if you don't pay your power bills over a.6-12 month period it will be switched off right? How hasn't the council sold off the land? does all this mean somebody is still.payimg the amenities?
At the end of the day all you've done collected just ends up on the tip... Unless u have good health u have nothing no matter rich or poor death will still steal you away! So wots the point eh!

What a beautiful place. That kitchen is still bright and inviting, easy to imagine standing at the sink, washing up looking out of the window 😊
Hi Colin what an awesome find, especially as it's not been trashed/vandalised.

I like watching all the old houses with the stuff in it. It reminds me of my grandparents house 🏡.
The walking stick hanging in the hall brought tears to my eyes. Have just finished clearing my Dad’s bungalow and his walking stick is now hanging in my hall.

hiya Colin, loving your videos especially the abandoned houses. That little train is from the 1940/50s. Keep up the great work and look forward to your next one.
Could be from anytime between the 40s up till the late 70s in theory. Unless you know the exact model

How do you find these places? This is the kind of thing i want to buy to live in
There are a circle of the top urban explorers that tend to film the same homes. I've seen this house on another channel.

I think these explorers all just give locations to one another . I watch more than one but I've never seen this place filmed before.
Lots of poeple would love to live there ,what a wast,
Makes you wonder why they left doesn't it? Especially with all of the family photo's around.
