Relearn Crankshaft Position On GM Vehicles using a VXdiag Tool

- A follow up to the pcm programming tutorial. When a Crankshaft Position Sensor or or PCM is replaced this procedure mustbe done to clear the check engine light (p1336 dtc). It's very easy using tech2win and a vxdiag tool as shown.

I did the procedure on my 3400L V6,
but after reaching cutoff and the message "test in progress"
it returns to initial status "accelerate to WOT..." without any successful finish message.
Any suggestions?

What if your fuel does not cutoff, took my 02 Chevy Silverado 5.3 in to do a crank relearn, sat in truck with mechanic to do it, and RPM went way over 6000 rpm and the tech scanner said it was unanble to perform the relearn. Any suggestions
It’s weird my Colorado did that to its super picky about things and I had to bring it to a dealer to get it done just keep trying and sometimes code readers will store the error why it didn’t work
I just wish I could figure out how to get Vcx nano running on my compooper
I'll put a video together on vxdiag setup its pretty simple but I recommend you use a computer that is only for that purpose.

I have a Chromebook will this work for me or do I need a laptop with windows 10?
You need a laptop with windows 7 pro or 10 pro. Windows in VM does not work.

What if my fuel doesn’t cut off at 4000rpm?
On the tech 2 screen it will say what the fuel cutoff is for your engine.
