- The X Tool F1 is an interesting machine.
It does the usual laser engravy stuff like coasters, plywood and drinks bottles, but it also has a few tricks up it's sleeve which means that it can do some pretty interesting stuff.

Quick question. Would laser etching a plain build plate with a design imprint itself on any prints you print off it. Patterns such as the carbon fibre pattern could be done and you would not have the disadvantage of printing on sticker surface and it eventually rippling due to heat?
Yes, this does work. You have to play around with settings to get the burn deep enough but once you do it works well. I engraved a carbon fibre pattern onto glass which works well.

No. This thumbnail illustrates something that *_IS_* covered in this video, and therefore is *NOT* CLICK BAIT.
An example of a true click bait thumbnail would be one that shows a celebrity, who doesn’t appear in the video.

The work area is still too small to really be usable.
I thought that but have found it really good with the slide extension. If you want to do large stuff then no, it's not the right engraver but many people will only be looking to make smaller things.
It is meant for smaller projects. Great for crafts shows to allow you to put customized touches to personalize the experience. Get the P2 if you need a larger work platform, but don't expect to move it around like this thing!

Doesn't matter what the title says, the screenshot said he was gonna engrave his car and yes, it is extremely misleading and I too, won't watch any more of these clickbait vids from this dude. Clickbait bullshit!
