    Wow! That PMag came out amazing 🤩. I can see easily paying off this laser just after selling at a couple craft shows. You should be able to get $25 for a set of stone coasters. Maybe $15 for a set of the wooden coasters. Looks to be a profit machine, maybe change the title ?

      Thanks DWIT! It is a pricey little laser! However, the price does fall in thins with other dual source lasers. I wanted to test the laser on how I would think a crafter would use it. I believe after a couple craft fairs, this machine would be paid for. Then you can actually engrave at your booth! I might take it to MRRF 🤔. Thanks for watching bud!

    Thanks for your time making the video and for also letting us see your settings especially for the PMAG! I ordered this laser for my 15 and 11 year old boys to get started on,I know its not the most powerful but its definitely something to get there feet wet with. Keep up the good work brother!

    • @TripodsGarage
      @TripodsGarage  Рік тому

      Absolutely! I had a feeling that people would ask about engraving PMAGs so I figured I would test and get the settings dialed in. As I mentioned in the video be prepared to tweak the settings, as not all materials could respond the same way. XTool asked me what the PMAG was, I had to be as politically correct as I possibly could. Basically said "it is called a PMag for US Firearms, it is very popular, and all over your Facebook Groups." I also mentioned that I did it my video for their D1 IR Module. It took a decent amount of testing to get the results I did for the PMAG. Yeah, it isn't the most powerful, but very versatile! I really enjoyed using it, and I have 2 fiber lasers. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    So I am curious about the venting for the air purifier. Aside from the hose connection between the units, is the other hose to be vented out a window to exhaust the fumes? Can see that being an issue at an indoor craft show without access to windows.

    I am very interested in ordering an F1 to take to craft shows. We typically choose to get an indoor booth, so I would also purchase the filter. But my question is about how loud the machine is. I don't want to have to yell over the machine or disturb neighboring booths. Thanks!

    • @TripodsGarage
      @TripodsGarage  6 місяців тому

      It is a solid machine! Do you have a PC Tower? I would say it is about that loud with the air filter. The air filter only turns on when the machine is engraving. Also if you are taking it to craft shows, you are typically in a bigger area that will help dissipate the sound.

    A good review, but you should really be telling us the price of products you receive for free, as well as telling us if you have to return it. Being given something for free skews your viewpoint. If I was given a £2000 bag of sweets they’d be good value, but if I had to purchase them….

    • @TripodsGarage
      @TripodsGarage  Рік тому +7

      Thanks! Much appreciated 👍. Most of the time I do show the pricing in my reviews. This slipped my mind. People say “free” yet, my time isn’t free. I spend between 60 - 100hrs for each review. This includes testing, filming everything, and editing. If you believe a company giving something to review skews my viewpoint, it would appear that you didn’t check out my last review. That review had over 100hrs “of my time”. Do you not put a value on your time? I point out all the good with the bad in each of my reviews, and leave it up to the viewer to decide. My last review, I flat out said, “I do not recommend”. I purchased items that I have reviewed on my channel and gave it the same criticism. You might want to look at my last review of the SV07, then compare it to how others reviewed the product. Thanks for your time! Thanks for also watching and commenting 👍

    Thats slow coasters 120mm/s
    My atomstack x20 can go that fast 7000 to 8000 mm/m
    To expensive and its not a real fiberlaser
    2 watt fiber. Its a 1064 diode galvo.
    Dogtag 10mm/s that takes forever 😂

    • @TripodsGarage
      @TripodsGarage  Рік тому +3

      Sure hope a 20w would out perform a 10w. Pretty useless agreement. Also I never said it was a fiber laser. I said it was a 2W 1064 IR on a galvo. Don’t know who you are attempting to correct.
      At least it can engrave a dog tag unlike the X20.

    • @Dekweekschuur
      @Dekweekschuur Рік тому

      Ok perhaps not fiber indeed but the galvo have to out perform the normal diod laser like rhe d1 or x20 but i see the time laps and it dosnt
      And rhe workbed is also very small 115x115
      And that for 1500 / 2000 euro.
      Thats a lot of money for so little machine.
      Perhaps i cant engrave the dogtags but they etching just fine poedercoating tags do fine on the diode.
      So for the money i think people are better of to buy a normal diode.
      Even cheaper to buy a diode and a 1064 head if you want to engrave some metal .
      But rhe speed of engrave is ridiculously slow for the 1064.

      @@DekweekschuurDid you comment just to be a troll? The settings he used are just that.. This machine is capable of 4000mm/s which I know is true because I also own this machine. Yes the work area is small to start but it can be upgraded with the extension.. This is a kick ass machine with an awesome smoke purifier which allows you to actually use it in public which I'm pretty sure you aren't doing without an elaborate setup on your Atomstack.. The argument is totally mute... Move on sir... Nothing for you to see here...
