- Product Photography Retouching, How I do it. A video showing a image retouch start to finish. The image was created for Packaging cover for the product.
I use Adobe Photoshop software in my work. I have sped up the video but the retouching is fairly long, feel free to skip ahead at any point.

Superb video, call me weird but quite therapeutic in a strange way, lol. Who knew so much work needs to go into improving reflections, makes the cleaning up work seem quite easy by comparison. You really are a master at this, thanks for sharing you work, all the best, cheers ! Curious if you save a copy as you go, I know you have the history steps to work with but having to repeat this all over would be very testing indeed.
Hey AoToGo, thanks for your comment. I do save the file as I work, you can see the layers created, this give me control over the image, I can go back to the original look, or tweak aspects of the new layers created, save as a PSD file. I wouldn't need to do all this work again when I go back to the file.

Hey. The changes I made to the image are numerous. So not one technique but many. The retouching was about 2 hours in total. It just would be a long video to show it all in normal speed. Please let me know what it is you would like to see more specifically and I can think about my future video content. Thanks.

Would love to see a product done in real time, the fast version makes it hard to follow the pointer as you move around and select tools and layers
@@JoeCosentino hey. Yeah it is too fast to follow. This video is not really about following it like as you mention. I say in my voice over that this video would be too long and boring to do a real time version. But I will do another video in future showing the retouching in more detail so you can follow along.

hello, thanks for your comment. I did a cutout of the area, then pasted black colour into that area. The product area I was fixing is black, so it's fine to add a black layer, then to blend it in where needed.
