This was an excellent refresher. It's been a while since I needed the REAL shadow on a pure white background. You explain the steps thoroughly and clearly without wasting time. Much appreciated! I am a Photigy fan and student from way back. Although I started for my own online selling, Alex and teachers like you, got me to the point where I do professional product photography for others too.Thank you!
This video helped me a lot as a small business owner. Clean, comprehensive and fluent explanation. If you know basics of photoshop, u can retouch your products easily. Thank you very much.
every time you use the gradient tool, it accumulates the previous gradient, how do you do that? I'm trying to do that but when I create the gradient line, it is overwriting the previous one. Any help?, thank
You gotta go to the gradient properties where you can change gradient colors, leave one color on black or white which you prefer and the other one at 0% opacity. Simple as that.
hi there, how did you duplicate the selection of the object, I did with Ctrl+J but when I tried to rasterize my selection layer but that option wasn't turned on for me, did I do it wrong ?
Can someone explain why my own tool when making selection only selects last area I used pen tool on instead of the whole object being selected after using the pen tool
TIFF (.tif/.tiff), JPEG (.jpeg/.jpg), GIF (.gif) and PNG (.png) format Image pixel dimensions of at least 1000 or larger in either height or width preferred sRGB or CMYK color mode File names must consist of the product identifier (Amazon ASIN, 13-digit ISBN, EAN, JAN, or UPC) followed by a period and the appropriate file extension (Example: B000123456.jpg or 0237425673485.tif) Is the correct answer ;)
Whoever has so much time to spend on 1 image - I envy you. Sadly, most in-house Photostudios in the UK, won't allow you to spend more than 2min on such images.
We specifically shoot it this way to help people who have no skills (nor many lights) to shoot white glossy products on a white background. Do not say "its easy to shoot good at the beginning" - otherwise, it own;t be a tutorial like this:-)
@@photigy Нуу, в статике можно и одним светильником работать как несколькими, сами знаете ) Да и полезней учится снимать сразу хорошо, чем допиливать плохой исходник все же )

How were the three groups of selections made with the pen tool merged into one ??
thankuu so much bruh
Noob question - what does "apply layer mask" do at 11:18? Isn't the mask already being "applied" simply by its existence?
Doesn't reply to the pertinent questions, just to the "amazing work" ones.

Спасибо за урок, хотелось узнать, а на русском языке нет этого урока? Благодарю за ответ)))Успехов вам!
проще было сразу снять нормально!
да нормально было снято) может +1 ступень по свету, но по сути всё также осталось бы по обработке)
