Renault master//MK2-G9U-120DCI// engine restoration// PART 3// fuel pump timing problem, first start

Hi there guys in this episode i've finished up the rebuild and installation of my mk2 Renault master's G9U 120DCI engine.
After getting the majority of the work done i encounterd some issues with my fuel pump timing although once id finally found the issue and rectified it i was pleased to see all my hard work come together and the van running once again.

Когда не могли запустить двигатель, сразу догадался что ошиблись на 180 градусов при установке ремня ГРМ😂 Сам точно так же ошибся. Пробовали даже на тросу буксировать автомобиль. Но он не запускался. 😂 А потом прочитал в книге что нумерация цилиндров считается от маховика коробки передач. Удивился тому что на легком старте двигател запускался. Спасибо за видео. Лучшие что я видел по этому автомобилю.

I gave mine g9u 107kw to machine shop.. for checking crankshaft, cylinder.. pistons and head 😮 hopefully I don’t need everything new .. and hopefully i will get everything back together .. 😊

What ball joint kit did you use ? , looking to replace mine but don't want to spend £££££ replacing the whole wishbones.

Makes me think how long my 2.5dci gonna last in my Master camper, now at just shy of 200k! Great rebuild matey, wish i had the nerve to do it myself but soo many special one time use type of tools to purchase required. Also where did you find all the torque settings for all the bolts?

I've just done my head gasket and timing belt and I locked the crank and my cams are in the correct position and she's not firing my next thing to look at is the fuel timing like yourself but how exactly did you turn the bottom end over without hitting the valves. Did you put it at tdc first? So happy for you though you've done some amazing work on yours

Why have to marks on the fuel gear then, just makes things confusing

are you sure its nothing to do with the imobiliser

The van runs a treat now , it just wasn't getting fuel at the right time.

mine doesnt start without the airbox(and the intake sensor-loool)took abit of headscratching
