    BMD continues to impress. This and the transcription feature are probably 2 of the most amazing updates ever in Resolve's history outside of maybe BRaw in terms of impressive technical usable feature. What an amazing company

    Why all the youtubers making tutorial about the relight use static shot , we need to see this effect on a video with a moving subject

    • @SebastianFriedrichVisuals
      @SebastianFriedrichVisuals  Рік тому +5

      The effect is really tax heavy on my system, but works perfectly fine with a moving subject. I really do suggest to try the effects yourself alongside watching the tutorial, it’s better for the learning process anyways!:)

    Thanks for this tutorial man, I played around with the relight tool, but but couldn't figure out the node structure or how to use masking with it! Awesome work!!

    This is great, a bit complicated, but my issue for the first method is I am using log, and adding a LUT. By using the Magic Mask, it only applies the LUT to the masked area, but I need the LUT to change the whole frame.

    i found on #2 ,if you right click and go down and turn on node cache instead of auto it works much better, your thoughts?? you did an excellent job

    • @SebastianFriedrichVisuals
      @SebastianFriedrichVisuals  8 місяців тому

      You are 100% right! Letting high intensity nodes like this one or Noise Reduction cache manually usually works better! Thanks for pointing that out!🙌🏽

    When I am in my relight node (the third node) and I go to the surface map tab and select use input 2-the box just below labeled "output surface map" becomes grayed out and I am unable to select it. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

    Yeah.. i really need a more powerful GPU for the re-light tool. It's just bugging the heck out of my computer. What is the minimum requirement for it to work?

    • @SebastianFriedrichVisuals
      @SebastianFriedrichVisuals  Рік тому +1

      Hey man! Yeah, my M1 Pro MacBook Pro is massively struggling as well LOL but I don’t know any specific requirements for this to work smoothly - we‘re probably looking at a 3080 GPU and upwards for it to run halfway decent 😂

    Krass das sowas geht. Aber ich glaube, es verführt dazu nicht mehr vernünftig zu beleuchten, weil mans in der Postproduktion geradebiegen kann.

    • @SebastianFriedrichVisuals
      @SebastianFriedrichVisuals  5 місяців тому

      Ja das stimmt, das könnte dazu führen. Die Leute werden aber recht schnell merken, dass das einfach mehr Zeit frisst als wenn man es gleich richtig vor Ort ausleuchtet, alleine schon durch das rendern und dann natürlich noch die künstliche Nachbeleuchtung von unzähligen Clips

    • @SebastianFriedrichVisuals

      100% - as of right now it's too tax heavy on the system - not to mention doing this for 100 images in a row lol!
