- The New AMBUSHER DLC comes out on October 10, 2023 on all 3 platforms in The Hunter Call of the Wild BUT today we are able to use it for the FIRST TIME in Early Access - Thank you Expansive Worlds!!! In today's video, we set out to hunt in Mississippi Acres where we can actually call Alligators in FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER using the new ELECTRONIC CALLER! Then we got to hunt with the new MORADI MODEL 1894 Lever-Action Rifle and the new Stenberg Takedown Recurve Bow!!! Bow which are AMAZING!!! I really think that you will LOVE this new DLC!!! You won't have to wait long to get your hands on it!!!

Love the video lady! Certainly will be buying the DLC. Also I like to use the TRIPODS all the time, they seem to work best to not get attacked while staying out of sight

Well... like all DLC for the hunter I'll have to buy this. This does look fun. It'd be cool if EW would give us all-copper ammo with really deep penetration.

The Levers are a 11/10 Fun Factor in IRL for me, especially when you slip in some Specials and just ride the lever shouting, “Times up Rusty!” 😊

Super weird that a 44 Mag has more penetration then a 45-70 🤦♂️
I got the new ambusher pack today, and the Moradi is OFFICIALLY my new favorite gun in the game! I butt shot one boar with it in her rest zone, and she flipped over like a pancake! I hit every organ along her left side except the heart, and went OUT the opposite shoulder blade. I'm getting better success on moose than I am the .300. I'm now curious as to how easily I could bring down a plains bison with it.
Very excited to go back to Mississippi with this DLC. I will need to remember my TRIPOD as well! 😂
I love using the treestands and tripods and the electric caller will be super useful for using them

Hey lady Idk if you watched Jaxys stream or Scarecrows video but the first mill dot on the hyperion scope is exactly 300m you were aiming a little low on those whitetail that's why the shots didn't connect just figured I would help
What’s the best over all gun/ammo to drop all classes I’m using the new dlc .338 I just got the game with all the dlc/addon I’m hitting them just not dropping them?
There is no gun that covers all classes. My favourite loadout is the 300, 308, 243 & 22. That covers everything!
Oh baby 😊. I cannot wait to use the caller. I said we needed more tech and they certainly answered. Now for trail cameras and thermal scopes ❤
Somethings I learned with the new caller:
The animals only come when it is on. As soon as it is turned off the animal will return to what it was doing.
This is extremely helpful when one animal you don't want is hiding the animal you do want. Or you really want a side shot. Put it down play the sound for a second and turn it off. They will stop, move a little toward the caller, then go back rearranging their positions in the need zone.
The caller attraction rating in the game seems to be a lie. I have never had this thing fail to bring in an animal unless they are already nervous.
If an animal doesn't seem to be moving very fast to the caller or just stop moving for an extended amount of time, I find turning it off and on will reset there movement and get them going toward it again. They kind of act like it is the first time they heard it.
The best use I have found for it is at need zones that are hard to approach (places covered in trees or hills). Set it up in a clear location less then 200m from the zone. Walk about 100m or so from the caller and watch them walk in to a much easier to shoot at spot.
On a different note. I really wish they would add in more air rifles. Recently been hunting white tail with the .45 cyclone and really fun to use. I would love to see a .22 for small game and a .50 single-shot for larger game.

I think the reason it can call gators is that with the perk for callers to call other animals I think the rabbit caller will call in gators. It just doesn't say it. I used to have my build setup for secondary calls like that and they seemed to come to it half the time.

I know you don't play on console, but do you know anything about the best console settings? Or maybe recommend someone who's posted a video on all the best recommended settings for Xbox. like Fov, motion view and all that stuff. I tried looking on UA-cam but don't really see anything besides best weapons and stuff, which isn't what I'm looking for. Thanks

I suggested ECallers a couple years back and I am extremely excited about this
The Maradi? Italian or Scandinavian. Sounds like a fancy Italian sports car. 😊 I'm thinking it's modeled after the Marlin 444 lever action. We have the Marlin 45-70 Gov. Model and a Winchester Model 94 30-30. Sounds like the new Mazzaratti lever is somewhere between the two. Nothing like good penetration at 70% with hard cast projectiles at medium distance. The 454 Casull is 100% pen for hardcast which is semi unrealistic imo. The class rating sounds like a tweener too 3-8. 45-70 is 4 to 9. 30-30 is 3 to 7 if my recollection is correct. Anyways sounds like they are keeping the authenticity fairly accurate. I'm excited about the new firearm the most, still dunno about the electronic caller. Might be a sort of lazy man's tool, or a way for busy people with tight schedules to ramp up quicker in beginning to rack up some doe and XP faster. Got to try it out to know. Calling gators now is pure awesome. Raised in south Florida we heard gators a lot as kids traipsing through the boundary of the Glades and in our backyard canal. Sounds very authentic. Glad you did Mississippi map as well. Gators are more difficult than Crocs on beach warranting new caller. You are frikin awesome LadyLegend, Cross between Annie Okley and Calamady Jane. Making it look so easy and realistic. "And splat".

Ist's Tradition of EW to name their weapons with names of their employees. Please have a look to the credentials of the Game: you will find all the weapons again as real Life names 😉
I think this is a nice give back to all the developers, Sales or Marketing Guys.
On the Otherhand EW does Not need to fear a lawsuite.

No need for a caller... just walk along the eastern coastline and blast away when you see a croc get within range... theyre stupidly easy to hunt out of extinction

This game is so frustrating it crashes to desktop after about 30 min. of playing....Arrrrggg....
For me the game crashes when I interact with a rabbits call it's really annoying when I shot a few deer and I went to pick them up and I accidentally interact with the call and boom back to the home screen
