- The Ambusher DLC comes to The Hunter Call of the Wild on Tues. Oct 10, 2023 to ALL 3 PLATFORMS!!! Are you excited?!? In today's video, we head to Silver Ridge Peaks with the new MORADI Lever Action Rifle, the new Stenberg Takedown Recurve Bow and the ELECTRONIC CALLER in search of trophies!!! We did manage to find a Level 5 Bighorn Sheep and LOTS of MASSIVE animals and we had a BLAST, AMBUSHING EVERYTHING in Silver Ridge Peaks!!!

Going to be interesting to see the details of how the E-caller works. I feel like the ability to call animals towards a location where you aren't is going to give ambush hunting a good bit more flexibility to work around wind, ridges, and such. Any word on if it spooks animals if they get too close to the caller?
Hasn’t happened yet
Noticing the 50m effective range on the .44! The penetration will drop off a lot at 150m then.
Worth keeping in mind.
You can shoot at 300 m if you use the Argo scope and it’s the first mill dot down you can hit 300 m just to give you the heads up

the one thing im looking forward to is using the e-caller to draw wildlife out into open spaces, so many maps where there is wide open spaces and animals refuse to come out from behind the trees

The new 44mag is my new favorite weapons to bring with the 308 bolt action!👌
The new gun is going to be awesome for feral goats, roe deer, axis deer, lynx/bobcat, chamois, hog deer and other class 3 animals.
Feel like its gonna be pretty much the go to for class 3 species, as I hate using my used weapon in this scenario, the zarza.223 on them. Its lacking the pen. This thing obliterates them tho, the pen is insane. Can kill moose flawlessly and goes down to class 3, pretty ridiculous imo.
Outclassed by the .243 starting rifle ngl. Classes 2-6? Why take anything but that for all your mid-class needs?

I think the E-Caller sold me on this DLC, I wasn't so sure, but that's a really cool feature.
Does the electronic caller work on ducks and geese?? Can you place it on a spot on the ground and then attract flying geese towards it??
I've combined it with decoys with geese and works like a charm

9:43 are those the only animals that the "e caller" works on?
No. Those are the ones it works for on that map. It pulls up the animals that have a caller from the map that you're currently on

Just so you know, if you aim at the first dot below the main one on the 4-8 scope for the lever action, it’s almost perfectly zeroed for 300 meters👍 And does the e caller spook animals if you’re within 200 meters

First thing I'll do is get out on the range with it for bullet drop. Leading the animals will be seat of the pants XP

Now I know it uses the .44 Magnum ammo. I was hoping it would use a more powerful .44 cal cartridge as in the .444 marlin cartridge. It makes more sense now that the projectile noticeably takes more time to travel to it's target as you dem in previous vid and medium range. Unrealistic penetration for this pistol cartridge cast or not is the real draw besides the capacity. I suppose then that if it weren't for that excessive penetration we'd all favor the 45-70 and ignore the Maradi considering it's limited range. For me it might be a good self defense weapon to use without a scope for crocs and gators as well. Or a great gun to use in the wooded and brushy areas. Impressive shooting as usual with both new dlc weapons..."and splat". Can't wait for the dlc. Thanks again for the lively upbeat demos Lady

That Quist Lead Pro E-Caller is M A R V E L O U S ! I get that they may not desire us to carry it but I’m gonna no matter what, even if I have to hunt without clothes. 🤣
This Recurve Takedown Bow seems like it checks all of the boxes for a great bow! Smart, light, and it looks like it will take well to customization. Can’t wait to use!
The 1894 .44 MAGNUM, hmm.. She looks like that unattainable gal you can never really afford to date. - Well guess what you can, and she has a buttered up breech-bolt and fixes to put out serious penetration with minimal wrist-action. 🫠
Not to mention this Moradi offers another option, I get to hunt with a heritage rifle. This is GREATLY Appreciated! Can’t wait to get this model too! Thank you so very much to everyone involved!
