I just love finding your gems on UA-cam! This is one of my favorite songs and you totally nailed the solo. Thanks for educating me also about Ronnie Montrose playing the original solo. 🙏🎸
Super job Kelly !!! This really inspired me to learn a lot of this solo. Taking my time learning all of the fantastic riff's you demonstrate throughout my all time favorite tune. Thank you so much !!!
Oh i love your style to break it down, i must check it out.......thanks and greetings from Germanistan and also your english is good to understand for foreigners
It's my understanding that Montrose had left the band before the album was released, to head his own band. So that's when they asked Rick Derenger to join.
Why do all these guys describe where you should put your fingers/hands??? Most of us have a guitar in hand, just play the freakin song so we don't have to listen to useless info. Man!!!
It’s always a pleasure to hear you play and talk!
Learned this as a student 45 years ago totally forgot it......Thanks Kelly

You know what would be a crazy challenge? Covering the "solo" by Robbie Krieger on "When the Music's Over".

Small point, but I'm pretty sure it's F#m, G, A (not F#).
