That lick is so awesome! Took me 30 years and never figured it out, another player showed me and it was like being shown the combination to a rock treasure. Ha! Overstated just a tad probably, but Montrose added so much to EWB. Didn't know Montrose was gone until today, either. Wow, looks like he died within a year of this. Sad. Guy still had it. May we all take advantage of the time we have on this Earth! Go to the gig, spend the $, take the trip, see the band, attack your bucket list. Today!

Saw them 6 times, each time with Dan Hartman, and 3 times with Ronnie Montrose. My favorite band as a teenager. Thought Dan Hartman was so COOL! RIP

Such a great talent that man was....we lost him WAY too soon. I've thought many, many times over the years just how much more he would've contributed had he not passed when he did. Writing, performing, producing....that guy could do it all, and very well too.

With all due respect to Mr. Montrose, in the excitement of the moment he started playing "Crossroads",instead of "Freebird" @ 1:05. The band adapts to the situation with the audience unaware.

I'm not sure why all the negative comments of Edgar's falsetto were posted ?? The original songs were sung in falsetto and it's ~ 40 years later and it's a simple cell phone video at a simple and smallish (i imagine) outdoor Arts festival. Waddya want ? He does a fine job. Quit trolling !

Grande perda!
