- Hey everyone back in Scrap Mechanic with more multiplayer action! After the release of the slot car video alot of people asked for the slot car building challenge so that is exactly what we are going to do! Back with the multiplayer Monday crew and we each have 10 minutes to build and race slot cars on an epic track!

Next multiplayer monday suggestion: a "soapbox derby" where you all build unpowered cars and a giant ramp and see who reaches the bottom first. Not sure if this was done already but I'm too lazy to check :p
You could do a battle slot car race were you could have pistons that could push other players of the track and random stuff that may help you win!
i've actually made a HUGE track with space enough for 4 people. it has traps, starting countdown + lights, hidden traps that are activated by other lanes, its designed to be a 3 lap race and its in 3 layers,. but i litterally just tested it in multiplayer for the first time with 2 friends, as long as everyone is in a driver seat, its fluid gameplay. but if someone falls off the track due to a trap or too much speed, and steps out of the car, everyone is back to 2 - 4 FPS :/
SO i've decided not to go out of my way to get it in a video. i started building when kan released the track pieces, and changed them to 4 lane versions. and build a few cars that followed his template. unfortunately, it was all wasted work
Well, that sucks it sounds very cool though.
You could add a "pit crew team" were whoever isnt racing is meant to help one of the racers get back into the track

Make a SlotBus!!(A Bus what goes in tracks like this!)
I was thinking it would be cool if you did a Gladiator version of slot cars. No spuds or explosives, but you can build your cars up with mechanisms to kick the other persons car out of their slot, flip them, destroy their wheels, etc. So they have to stop and reset. Death Race Slot Car Edition
i tested this with gas and electric engines, and what i figured out is that you need the 2 wheels in the front electric and the 2 back gas so you dont go too fast but still get power, i have 2 of my own custom slot cars with this setup and have not had any times of flipping off the track (after i did this setup that i figured out) so you should test this someday and also test it with the wheels having suspension, it helps not flip them ether

Hey after i saw ur slotcar video the other day I made a track with my friend, I also made a more advanced slotcar with steering that follows the track
Honestly the best thing for the like barrel under the car, Should be like real slot car, straight, But it should be able to turn around so your car can like slide but can come straight if you gas again.

Great video but can you do this again but with a four way track that can also feed to three two or one line track and those can feed back maby make some banks or a cork screw this can be updated in a lot of ways. Good luck and as always have fun.
You should do a slot car drag race where everyone builds a fast slot car and have a limited amount of thrusters and after their finished building everyone races their cars

You should raise the track and make deeper slots and longer pegs so they can't exit the track as much
The whole point is for the cars to be able to exit

I'm kind of disappointed that nobody, especially kan, bothered to implement slot car steering. I'm guessing nobody knew that slot cars *have* steering and that they don't just get shoved side to side by the peg. The peg controls the steering.
Pls make a train that makes infinite tracks for it but reuses the track
Basically the train would have a wheel of track that constantly go around the train or would the train have the track come out of the side?

I know I'm 3 years late, but you guys did double elimination incorrectly lol. After Kan and Camodo raced and Kan got 4th (because he got "double eliminated"), and Scrap and Moonbo raced to see who goes to the finals, Moonbo and Camodo (because they both only have 1 elimination so far) were supposed to race to see who goes to the finals (even though Camodo originally lost to Scrapman). And then they were supposed to duke it out to see who is crowned the winner.

I don't like mods, it's okay that you used them to make the track though because it was kind of necessary.

Why you don t make that the pipe that enters the track, to be on a bearing, so it can turn free on turn, maybe it will not bump that hard
it is on a bearing.that's just how SM and SM slot car racing in general works.

Why don't you put two poles on the bottom that are on a baring mechanism that moves them the make it stay on at all times
